There can be seen a lot of enthusiasm and effort put into the game. The pros of the game are the instant gameplay, simple but addictive game mechanic, presence of power-ups, leaderboard, 9 cars to unlock, different color palette for each car, challenging difficulty, simple and responsive controls, smooth graphics and great soundtrack. On the opposite side are the creeping stereotype due to game simplicity, just one endless track which is always the same and boring sounds. Thanks to the very fair price - just 0.79 Euro on Steam - the game is ideal for short sessions spent with your kids by trying to break the records. However, it would be more entertaining yet if the game had split screen multiplayer and the absence of it I consider a minus. On the other hand I appreciate the effort and excellent care of the game by its author who remade the entire game after more than 5 years to make it more user friendly.
Pros:
- instant gameplay
- addictive game mechanic
- power-ups
- leaderboard
- 9 cars to unlock
- various color palettes
- reasonable difficulty
- controls
- graphics
- soundtrack
Cons:
- early stereotype
- just one same track
- sounds
- no split-screen multiplayer
