    This game has no equal in the pet system. It is awsomeeeeee. It has great multiplayer and is my favorite game. As a player who has reach 150 and spent money and long hours on it. I recoomend you play. This is just a wonderful game.

    Awesome pet systems and brutal PVP are marred by a deplorable leveling system, cash shop that exploits users to pay money for pay to win mechanics, ridiculously low drop rates and virtually zero player assistance. However, a new company recently bought out the previous owner Gpotato. I hope they will take Rappelz in a positive direction. Oh and the graphics are quite dated.

    The current state of Rappelz is BROKEN. One of the main features about the game (it's pets) is broken as of last week. Pets are getting wrong skills or skills that they can't even learn making them utterly broken. The end game Dungeon (Cube) got broken with one of the latest game updates resulting in the end game content of the game been broken. Many players complain about the new game dll files not been supported by Windows XP and their excuse is because Microsoft support for Win XP is about to end. Note the support is not ended yet but Rappelz support for Windows XP have already ended. The game is having serious connection issues and lag issues resulting in multiple disconnects all the time and people with low end connection been unable to play/connect at all to the game. The game optimization is non existent as many of the issues that are since day one release aren't fixed such as skill cards not stacking resulting in increased game loading time. Sometimes because of the bad optimization if you get a lot of skill cards in your inventory you can't even log in with this hero as the game disconnect you. Also the quest line for the end game class MC (Master Class) have quests that are impossible to be completed and there is no one that can show video proof of him completing them. One of the quests after your are MC require you to use the cash shop to complete it (or spent days and billions of in game currency) in order to get one of the 3 skill points required to unlock your most important MC skills. Overall this game is pay to win and broken.… Expand

    Pros: Good graphic (not great) Good pet system (better than most or if not equal) Good combat system
    Cons: Graphic (could be updated) Cash shops (they cut back but STILL a problem) Rare drop rates (terrible)

    All in all its the highest rated free mmo around despite a minor setback which have probably been addressed by the time i write this.

    Rappelz as per 2019 is still up and going strong , the current state of the game has been kind of stable for the past years with people coming and going because of how different it feels compared to any other game we've played. Rappelz has THE BEST pet system , choose a mob that seems intersting to your eyes and trust me you'll be able to have it alongside your journeys , as for pve ? Mobs exist in a wide range of difficulties starting from laughably easy going up to unbelievably frustrating , gears add skill points on the best skills of your class making your character even more powerful and making the grind to find & improve proper gears worth it and fun. If you have not yet tried it , please do it and if you did it in the past 5 years and was looking for something more up to date try it again as the quality of life changes have been made and game is fun .

    Rappelz is on of the first MMO's I played back in the day. Now of course it is outdated yet so far I haven't played any game like this games pet system. It is just so well designed and unique... Having empty pet cards, a class to specialy tame them, evolving them even combining same pets together to get new skills and looks, evolving them and gearing them up as you gear up a normalRappelz is on of the first MMO's I played back in the day.     Played a lot of games to find a similar pet system like this one has but none could fit the profile, demonology warlock, hunter class in wow, Poe zombie, spectre golemancer build, gw2 and some I don't remember not even close the pet system it had.

    Unfortunate that this is originally a east game where It's a p2w game.    … Expand
