    if you're a rail fan I reckon this is the best game on the market right now. let's see what add ons come out. the website looks promising.. will they deliver?

    I'm new to the world of Rail simulation but this is far better than I expected.... I've started creating my own content, the detail and graphics are great.....

    Don't expect too much - this is not railroading simulator. In my opinion it's just one train modeling and model testing game. While modellers have done great job the program itself is most poor compared to other train simulation games. Graphics are not bad but game engine is very buggy and not smooth. As follower of the Rail Simulator it has most bugs and missing features still not fixed (dispatching, signalling, AI). Seems like developers learned from Trainz experience - just rename it and sell the same crap again and again. To be honest - programmers of Rail Simulator have been like headless chickens - concept is totally missing. Latest patches confirm that nothing is changing - only some graphical fixes and no evolution in basic program.… Expand

    Everything you could possibly want. I really REALLY love this - so much better than Microsoft's creaky, buggy old version.
