There is quite a bit of Train Valley in 3D in this - and it is well implemented. The campaign is challenging and varied. It is very easy to handle, even on TV with an Xbox controller thanks to the well thought-out controls.
The strongly Japanese design seems a bit out of place and even confusing in view of the futuristic setting. Since you get to know many new elements quite quickly,

Amazing game, love those small levels which force you to think differently everytime. The finance mechanics are easy, but also really enjoyable, because you can not only put on debt, but also receive interest on money you put in the bank. The real-time aspect and time limit also force you to act quickly. Difficulty is also good for me, although the early levels are a bit too easy. If you enjoy those things I mentioned above, this game is for you. Oh yeah, and also trains. Expand

If you like RTS management then this game does very little wrong but if story is something you want, I can not recommend RailGrade. Well, unless corporate hoo-ha is something that entertains you then this has a lot of that.

An addictive railway management puzzler that will scratch the itch for the logical thinking part of your brain and is very enjoyable whilst doing so. Though, for some, it may become repetitive.

In its current state, Railgrade is an easy recommendation if you enjoy trains and logistical puzzles. Just don’t come into this expecting a simulation-focused experience. I never played Railgrade before the Steam version so can’t comment on what changed or improved, but I see myself dipping into the game regularly over the coming months as a nice relaxing experience. The shorter mission structure also perfectly suits the pick up and play nature of the Steam Deck.
