    Sweet fast paced action. How did metacritic score this game so low beats me!

    Simplemente horrible. Esta expansión es un asco total. Los modos añadidos si bien son algo decentes, terminan siendo repetitivos. Pero la queja mas grande de todas es la interfaz.... Posiblemente la peor interfaz en un videojuego alguno. El juego no te da un tutorial para navegar por el complejo menú principal y jugar los nuevos modos de juego! También le faltan añadidos como un modoSimplemente horrible. Esta expansión es un asco total. Los modos añadidos si bien son algo decentes, terminan siendo repetitivos. Pero la queja mas grande de todas es la interfaz.... Posiblemente la peor interfaz en un videojuego alguno. También le faltan añadidos como un modo campaña (que ya le faltaba al Quake 3 original) y algo mas para llamar la atención. A mi lo único que me llama la atención es la nota que tiene.… Expand

    I gave it an 8 because it really is a fast paced action shooter. I think I have an answer for Peter K. though. Compared to other games out at the time, like unreal 3, Quake 3 Arena was an improvement, only over it's other Quake games. And it was coming out around the time people were expecting improvements over gaming, Im sure. Unreal 3 especially had a much better look. Quake 3 I gave it an 8 because it really is a fast paced action shooter. I think I have an answer for Peter K. though. Compared to other games out at the time, like unreal 3, Quake 3 Arena was an improvement, only over it's other Quake games. And it was coming out around the time people were expecting improvements over gaming, Im sure. Unreal 3 especially had a much better look. Quake 3 Arena was more like the first Unreal Tournament. While, the graphics are dated, it has a lot of intersting character choices and arenas. I love playing the DoomGuy. Another downside though, I wish the taunts were more realistic to what they were. Like the DoomGuy had DOOm related taunts. Its at least better than playing the Dreamcast version. But graphically it has its ups and downs.… Expand

    The First real game MP in the world, with a lot of mods realised by a really nice community! I can propse u to try some mods like TrueCombat (Total conversion : realistic mods ) totally submersif ans addictive. TrueCombat have now a young brother : TC:Elite on Wolfestein ( using Q3 3D motor) but i prefer q3 original and Truecombat for the design and the player movement realist ..just try The First real game MP in the world, with a lot of mods realised by a really nice community!     As a huge Q3 fan, I'm sad that this isn't in Q3. It adds next to nothing to the already existing experience and essence of Q3 when it's standalone. Combined, it could have been fun and had a lot of potential, but sadly that didn't happen. This "game" is not good in its own right, as it basically is an expansion pack or a mod for Q3. That's why it's not going to have more than an 8.

    An expansion pack for the game Quake III: Arena. Not a massive update, almost like the main game. Some new game modes, three new weapons, new items and player models. Not a giant step.

    An expansion for Quake 3: Arena featuring 4 new game modes for team play. I tried this game out with the included bots but didn't enjoy the experience very much because the bots just aren't too bright. Also, the only game mode I really enjoyed was old-fashioned CTF, so this doesn't really add much of value to Quake 3: Arena.     6/10. The weapons are far too strategic and outlandish. It should be more simple. I didn't really understand how I died many times and the weapons didn't feel great to use.

    I really liked the game. It certainly does not have the best graphics, but for that year it was good.

    It was like skimming of Quake 3 Arena. I cannot say it improves too much over main game.

    In playtesting, I found that a number of new additions to the interface simply get in the way of gameplay.

    A solid mission pack, adding a whole new team element. Team organization is something that is evolving in online multiplayer gaming, and it's nice to see Quake join the fray.
