    Add new ships, new weapons, new maps, new enemies and a few more colors, and this thing goes from less than ho-hum to slightly above average. As it stands now, Pulstar is not a game I can easily recommend.

    Concave have made a game which, while it isn't broken by any means, just barely meets the tenets of its genre and rarely aims to go past that. In being no-nonsense, Pulstar also throws away its sense of individuality and its lasting appeal, making it a hard sell unless more content is added in the future.

    This game is awesome, if you love twin stick shooters GET THIS!

    The moving of the player is super fluent and give the feeling of total control.

    The graphic effects look awesome and remind me of the plasma pong effects only not so heavily present.

This might be a 7 or 8 if it was a mobile platform, but playing $4.99 for a PC game with such fundamental mechanics and only one level is more than steep. Not even co-op can make up for that.
