Feb 14, 2019Short VR tour into world of Psychonauts. Amazing stylish visuals, fun puzzles, good dialogues and voice-acting - everything is back except for platforming.
Controls are a bit awkward since they were not initially designed for motion controller, but it's a very minor flaw. -

Jul 18, 2018Psychonauts in the Rhombus of Ruin is a veritable Saturday-morning cartoon, replete with wacky characters and some pretty groan-worthy humor. Impressive animations and game environments are a big plus, although characters can straddle the uncanny valley at moments. The point-and-click style node teleportation works fairly well, but at the ultimate cost to immersion. In all, there's a strong family-friendly Nickelodeon vibe throughout the game, which can make it feel a little too juvenile for most of the tax-paying public.

May 4, 2018As it stands right now Psychonauts In The Rhombus of Ruin is a fun little VR game that offers a few hours of entertainment but doesn’t nearly live up to its potential. If you’re a fan of the franchise and already own a good VR headset it’s more than worth the $20, but for anyone looking for more will probably be disappointed.
