    Project Mercury is a very challenging platforming/side scrolling shooter game. Project Mercury draws mechanics and obvious inspiration from retro games such as the early Metroid games for its layout and feel, and Castlevania for it's challenge and story. There is a large variety of enemies, some have interesting challenges, others simply float there off-screen waiting for you to jumpProject Mercury is a very challenging platforming/side scrolling shooter game. Project Mercury draws mechanics and obvious inspiration from retro games such as the early Metroid games for its layout and feel, and Castlevania for it's challenge and story. There is a large variety of enemies, some have interesting challenges, others simply float there off-screen waiting for you to jump towards it, then it kills you. The game is very unforgiving, however there are infinite retries and many weapons to squash the bugs. The game doesn't have much of a story, or good achievements that encourage you to play, the only reason I wanted to keep playing was to conquer the challenge of this game, I feel like this game would be more fun if it had more secrets and achievements, as well as an actual story. I am glad to be the first reviewer, because I bet many people will be annoyed at the challenge, however I enjoy this challenge. All in all, I would give this game a 6.5/10 for a lack of story and achievements, lack of replayablity, and a challenge that may make some players dislike the game.… Expand

    Very good game. I enjoyed playing this game a lot. I strongly recommend this.
