    The TWO Different AI ruine this game so much playing Become a legend with or against Messi is just not the same and it stinks cause you have the feeling you always have to do everything in the team because of this AI against cheated cpu AI.
    When you have Messi in your team and he can't score a goal in ten games you know there is something wrong with the AI the same for Ronaldo !     The gameplay is the best and better than previous game,but somehow there are no leauge in menu.And master league look good except national team selection (which make player fatifue).hope for better improvement in pes 2014

    best footbal game in 2013 until 2016 i think. it still popular until now, because nowadays pes have different engine unlike pes 2013. pes 203 engine is more simple and more fun to play

    - realism mixed with strategy, you never get bored!
    - full manual 360° control

    Cons:
    - headers are hard nearly impossible to manage, as well as free kicks
    - lack of custom league creation
    - of course lack of licence, but there are lot of turnarounds and mods to overcome

    Overall, it's the only modern football I never get bored, as I didn't playing old Kickoffs and Matchdays in the good old days.    … Expand

I think this year's Pes2013 is an exceptionally big step forward compared to the editions that came out after the legendary Pes6 (in 2006).. The new Pes game is much more challenging due to the possibility to use 100% manual controls.You can now choose movement in a pass or tackle urself (like every cm to the left or right and 10000 options from soft to hard) ... this is very challenging and sometimes frustrating but if the ball is given a correct kick it gives often harder and more extreme goals that are very beautiful, satisfying and always unique!! ...... To get this you must first change all controll settings to manual though!.. Pes is the best football game for PC gamers if you ask me. Fifa appears on the console very well the paint to come. The reason why Pes is primarily a PC game is easy to explain: On the PC you can use the patch from the website patchedit.com so the game is absolutely perfect in every detail ... f.e. the hairstyles of footballers are the same as they were this week in the Champions League league... .. and last but maybe most important of all: The graphics get an extreme makeover leaving out the blur and the low detail graphic settings that Konami chooses by default assuming everybody still has a Pentium 4 pc..believe me..the visuals are stunning... when will Konami wake up and open the available eyecandy for the main audience??… Expand

    One moment, I am totally besotted in wonder at the game, the next minute I am wanting to put my fist through some Konami rep's face.     PES 2013 offers unrivalled playability and heart stopping action, albeit via an engine with some brutal flaws. However, with the super improved defending, it is for the most part possible to block repetative lame exploit gameplay as is common when playing against rat-boys online (I have turned into a rat-boy as well when playing strangers online..PES does that to people). However, due to the scripted nature of PES, sometimes it will be very hard, if not utterly impossible to defend the lame exploit attempts. Furthermore, as soon as one realises how much of a hand the AI has in influencing the flow of the game, rage induced panic attacks can occur, especially in situations where some rat boy is exploiting my ass whilst the AI is simulataneously beating me with a faeces covered stick. As much as my PES induced rage would could drive me to hitting sites all across the internet spreading lots of hate about the game. Since PES 2013 came out. I have been totally uninterested in playing any other game. I own a high end PC and can play any title you care to name totally maxed. But all I want is my daily and rather large, intense hit of PES 2013. For that reason, even though I hate PES and want to stamp out Konami's guts, I have to give the game a 9/10.    … Expand

    Much better teamwork, better online play, best of the PS3 generation.... Then Konami decide to remove the league option stopping you from playing with friends in 1 location unless you want to go back to the days of writing a league table on some paper. For the simple fact they removed a core mechanic behind playing with friends and organised tournaments PES 2013 gets a 1 as it is simplyMuch better teamwork, better online play, best of the PS3 generation.... Then Konami decide to remove the league option stopping you from playing with friends in 1 location unless you want to go back to the days of writing a league table on some paper. For the simple fact they removed a core mechanic behind playing with friends and organised tournaments PES 2013 gets a 1 as it is simply unplayable and has 50 of us involved in North East England PES tournaments and buy our own copies for practice during the week are now having to look at the enemy in FIFA which would still allow us to play in the manner we have been accustomed to. Whoever made that decision at Konami should be sacked and never work in gaming again as they quite simply have zero grasp of the games target market.… Expand

    This game is quite bad, it is just fine involved minor action, 3d fans, and the gameplay is much better than the last part, so I can say that this game is better than FIFA

    I'm a little disappointed they removed the league mode. Friends and I liked to get together to have such tournaments. But overall, the gameplay improvements are to vast and to great to ignore. This is, without doubt, one of the great sport simulations out there. It's up there with NBA 2K13 as Sport Sim of the Year. Two great games that are authentic to the sport and really highlight theI'm a little disappointed they removed the league mode. Friends and I liked to get together to have such tournaments.     great game and on par with fifa in terms of gameplay, field feels big, not so cramped as in fifa. however, i think they can do so much in terms of graphics, animations and that atrocious sound design and commentary. if it werent for mods i wouldnt even be playing it now. AND WHAT ABOUT that afternoon matches? why remove that? one of the bes tparts of the PES were those afternoon matchesgreat game and on par with fifa in terms of gameplay, field feels big, not so cramped as in fifa. however, i think they can do so much in terms of graphics, animations and that atrocious sound design and commentary. if it werent for mods i wouldnt even be playing it now.     Don't let the bad review fool you, it's always like that with fanboys. This year Pro Evo and Fifa each have their own merits. They're both good games. If you are like me and have been playing Pro evo and then went to fifa, now is a good year to give PES another chance. The manual runs and manual passing give the game a great uniqueness.     Good PES, good controls, good playing modes... It's still far from PES 6, but it's the best PES since then. Of course, better than FIFA, as PES 2013 is like 2012 but with improved gameplay, goalkeepers, online gameplay... FIFA 13 is FIFA 12 worsened.

    People also keep talking about how the PS2 editions were so much better, but I myself have been playing 2013 and then the PS2 ones... the new game feels so much realistic in every possible way.     This game used to be really fun. But it hasn't improve a lot in the last five years. Now it's meant to be played by its core fan base. If you never bought a football game, I'd rather recommend to consider other games form the competition. If you been playing Pro Evolution Soccer all your life and do not wasn't to experience new things, go for this. It's the same deal it always was, itThis game used to be really fun. It's slightly difficult to customize your controls and certain teams and players don't have real life names but don't let that stop you - if you actually want to play a football game that feels alive, unpredictable and dynamic, there's nowhere else to go. Not scripted mistakes, just mistakes because two of its players misunderstood each other. It makes the game feel alive. Because the AI is so good and alive, the game only really works well on the hardest difficulty. Attempts at reducing the AI make the game feel strange. So, learn the mechanics on a low level, then play a single player career on the highest and then you'll master it in time.… Expand

    This game is third in my favorite PES games list, after PES 6 and PES 10. PES 13 it's a good fresh air because PES 11 and PES 12 really sucked. I heavily modded PES 13 to suit my needs, which is a plus for a PES game.

    I've played PES since it's beginning. Their attempt for providing full manual control is fine PS3, but horrible synergy with PC. However, this minor setback is a tribute for a better soccer gaming future. This is not with what I'm concerned. This game has the worst AI ever generated on PES. The game from beginner to regular looks like the AI is retarded. AI constantly kicks out balls fromI've played PES since it's beginning. This is not with what I'm concerned. This game has the worst AI ever generated on PES. The game from beginner to regular looks like the AI is retarded. AI constantly kicks out balls from his part of the field while doing to nothing to provide fun gameplay, challenge, or some kind of learning experience for new players. From professional to superstar, AI cannot miss from inside penalty area (you have possession 70%, shots 15; he simply shoots once and scores), and players from better clubs simply cannot miss. This completely destroys gameplay and fun. Next thing I encountered is heavily disturbed controls while defending. It seems that "the player you want to pick" while defending with q (L1) is far less precise and slower than in former PES. What I mean is that while you are trying to pick the target defender, the opponent already scores. While other PES-es had adjustable support (how much assist), this has only full assist, semi-assist (retarded like hell), no assist. This was the largest impact I felt as I am unable to defend or do anything in 20% of the times (which is too much failures). Oh, and if your defender makes a slight mistake, he drops out and doesn't return to a position which you would expect him to, but rather does improbable, stupid things. So, yes, even AI of your team is retarded. Buy or download older PES-es as they are much more playable.… Expand

    I was a fifa fan since Fifa 98, played almost all... but when was abt to get fifa 13.. i thought why not give pes 2013 a try for once, maybe its CR7 influence.. playing it for 4mnths.. initially the clubs were limited and their names were wierd (North London, East London etc...) and players names were ridiculous(football life mode), last week i downloaded a patch(6.0) and now it has allI was a fifa fan since Fifa 98, played almost all... but when was abt to get fifa 13.. i thought why not give pes 2013 a try for once, maybe its CR7 influence.. playing it for 4mnths.. initially the clubs were limited and their names were wierd (North London, East London etc...) and players names were ridiculous(football life mode), last week i downloaded a patch(6.0) and now it has all premier league teams with latest (sep) transfers, proper names, latest sponsors, jerseys etc.....     O melhor PES que existe, quando veio o 2014, dei valor ao PES 2013... leve e excelente jogabilidade!! Nota 10 mesmo!! O que incomodou no 2013 é o juiz... ele dá muita faltinha!! Mas melhor que o 2014, é!!

    Really great game! The master league and become a legend mode is the best and the stadium creator and player creator is even better. I suggest everyone to try this game instead of FIFA.

    It's rather difficult ro rate football games, especially at the certain age I was when I played them.
    It served It's purpose at the time but It's not of my preference.

    Dönemine göre çıkmış en iyi pes olabilir. O kadar efsaneleşti ki ve sonraki pes'ler o kadar kötüydü ki çıkışından 3-4 yıl sonra bile hala pes 13 oynanıyordu. Gerçekçi değildi ama çok eğlenceliydi.

    O melhor de todos para muitos, pra mim também. Em relação a epoca, tudo no jogo era bom, a evolução em relação ao 12 foi grande, mesmo jogando hoje em dia ele não envelheceu mal igual o 2012. Foram incontaveis partidas com amigos quando era criança, varias copas com amigos, com certeza o pes que mais joguei, também joguei muito o rumo estrelato e master liga, é uma otima lembrança da minhaO melhor de todos para muitos, pra mim também. Em relação a epoca, tudo no jogo era bom, a evolução em relação ao 12 foi grande, mesmo jogando hoje em dia ele não envelheceu mal igual o 2012. Foram incontaveis partidas com amigos quando era criança, varias copas com amigos, com certeza o pes que mais joguei, também joguei muito o rumo estrelato e master liga, é uma otima lembrança da minha infancia. É dificil analisar e dar notas pra jogos de futebol e de esportes em geral, mas pela nostalgia, pela gameplay do jogo que era otima na epoca, e por ainda hoje, depois de muitos anos ser totalmente jogavel,merece uma nota mais alta.
