GarylianOct 5, 2005This game was poor to say the least. Very little direction, very little drive. I couldn't find my self getting past the 3rd town, it was so boring.

May 25, 2016The game is very retro, 3 d isometric. I played it online years ago and the stand alone mode is also fun. I would not compare it to modern games as far as depth goes but this is an overlooked and under rated classic! It will be in my collection for some time along with more popular games. It reminds me a bit of the Dungeon Siege series but predates them.

Mar 8, 2022The game was pretty good when it was released 20 years ago. If you are interested in Chinese history, it is still a god one even today.

PC GamerA mediocre romp through a muddied story, with acceptable breaks for engaging combat. [Nov 2002, p.140]

Sub-par graphics, poor animation, too much downtime in the action and meager music all detract from what could have been a welcome addition to any gamer's collection.

Computer Gaming WorldFor every potentially cool element in Prince of Qin, there's a worse one waiting to kneecap it. [Jan 2003, p.124]
