May 13, 2017The game is just boring. Walk into room, have random objects poof into aliens kill them best you can with lousy guns mostly wrench then repeat. Nothing exciting and boring to look at as well.

May 5, 2017Bioshock in space. Except EVERY ♥♥♥♥ING THING can be an enemy, no game has ever made me this paranoid. Outstanding level design with lots of freedom, crafting and recycling, lots of powers and tools... A masterpiece.

Nov 14, 2017+ Great and un linear level design
+ Awesome and "interesting to explore" setting
+ Mick Gordon's soundtrack
+ Scary looking design of enemies
+ Pretty well optimized for PC
- Mediocre shooter gameplay
- Outdated graphics
- Disappointing ending ( personally for me )
Prey is a great example of very strong and solid game in immersive sim. genre. One of the best games in 2017. -

Aug 21, 2017The game is extremely boring, graphics are dated. No wonder it sells half price on Steam now, 3 months after the release. Not sure what all the hype is about.

Aug 11, 2017This will make me sound like a wuss, but I can't stand the sound effects of the jump scares and enemies in general. Even when I can foresee a scare, having to listen to the banging in my headphones and being unable to reasonably dodge it just rubs me the wrong way.

Nov 15, 2017Many of its elements never quite come together, so there’s no payoff. The clumsy human stories, the botched difficulty curve, the dangling gameplay threads, the pointless decisions, the cool 3D printer scavenging economy, the coral, the hunters, the various survivors who need saving. If I never had fewer than a dozen mana potions, what did it matter whether I did the quest to put mana healing into the water supply?

LEVEL (Czech Republic)Jul 5, 2017Prey offers one of the best gaming environments in the history and builds on it its sophisticated, exciting, and unusually entertaining gameplay. A weaker story and sometimes too high difficulty does not change the fact that Arkane studios has once again produced something special. [Issue#275]

Jun 30, 2017A great game of action and exploration, with rich, interlocking mechanics. May be a little bit derivative, but a tonne of fun nonetheless. [Issue#263, p.56]
