Press X Not to Die is a nice bit of campy fun. The game doesn’t take itself seriously at all and while some of the acting would normally be considered mediocre in this game it works for it. The game combines a normal FMV setup where you’re choosing dialogue responses but adds in QTE events where you engage in combat against a range of people who have gone crazy and are attacking everyone.Press X Not to Die is a nice bit of campy fun. Ironically I didn’t have to press the X key to not die once as if you go above easy difficulty you have to press multiple buttons. The video quality was decent to great as was the audio. The dialogue was cringy greatness as was the humour.
I played Press X Not To Die on Linux. It never crashed on em and I didn’t notice any bugs. There is one graphics option for resolution. There is no save feature but it is a short game. You can pause at any time as well as change the difficulty at any time. The game has a 60 FPS lock and it ran pretty much at that the whole time with no noticeable drops.

The game could have used more story depth but as it was it was a quick and fun experience. It entertained me; made me laugh; and made me want more. Hopefully there is a sequel. I paid $1.64 CAD for it and can say it is easily worth it’s current full price of $3.29 CAD. I finished my first play through in 28 minutes and apparently my choices led me to experiencing 46% of the overall game.
