    It's hilarious that this is admittedly the best postal game. Game play is smooth, arenas are open and has great mobility. Really wish, however, that the weapons had stronger feed back and that the melee combat had a stun on first impact. Regardless, super solid and super fun to smash through ! Hoping that they add heaps of extra missions etc to the game going forwards and possible tightenIt's hilarious that this is admittedly the best postal game.     Hands down the most extravagant boomer shooter out there. So full of... everything. Level after level Brain Damaged brings more and more ideas putting more content in one level than many most make do in entire game. AND IT'S ALL FUN.

    Oh, yeah, and it's the most fun I ever had in a Postal game.

    Новый постал я бы назвал винегретом из разных идей и механик шутеров прошлого и настоящего, ну а также всевозможных культурных референсов разной степени качества. И винегрет этот оказался вполне съедобным, но какое то новое слово в жанре никто говорить тут не собирается, просто ещё один прикольный бумер шутер. Играется неплохо и разнообразно, хоть местами и провисает.     На самом деле, никогда не являлся фанатом Постала, и, это первая часть серии, в которую я вообще сам поиграл, но, естественно, я знаком с этим "феноменом" по Ютабу, и, концепция, "мясного шутер-спиноффа" меня очень заинтересовала, я вообще за любые эксперименты, ведь только так можно получить что-то действительно    7,1/10
    Ну что, бумеры? Пришло время совместить 2 наших любимых игры?)
    На самом деле, никогда не являлся фанатом Постала, и, это первая часть серии, в которую я вообще сам поиграл, но, естественно, я знаком с этим "феноменом" по Ютабу, и, концепция, "мясного шутер-спиноффа" меня очень заинтересовала, я вообще за любые эксперименты, ведь только так можно получить что-то действительно уникальное, но, тут вышло немножечко не так, достаточно средне и "стерильно", наверное, Hyperstrange просто дали полную свободу действий, а они решили просто разрабатывать игру по фану, добавлять, смешивать, тестировать, различные мехники, просто обкатывать всё, что взбредёт им в голову, для своих будущих игр)
    Вполне возможно, что так, ведь в "Постале Бреин Дамeдж" очень много оружия, видов противников, самых разнообразных, целых 15 уровней, часов на 10 всё это на нормальной сложности, но как-то толку от всего этого мало) итак..

    Начнём с того, что игра невероятно растянута однообразными пустыми локациями, Зачем? Самая первая городская лока была очень крутой, приятный необычный визуал/музыка, интересный геймдизайн, где можно было заходить/изучать каждую квартиру, и, находить там окна, из которых можно выглядеть на, ещё недоступную вам сейчас зону, и, высунув ствол из окна, заранее перестрелять беспомощных мобов+сами вот эти вот искривлённые рельефы улиц смотрелись очень уникально.
    Что же дальше? Следующие 4-7 локаций, выглядят просто серыми коридорами.. то это какая-то канализация, то какие-то пустыни, то это прям реально пустой "бездекоративный" коридор, как будто прям по локе из квейка 1 бегаем) После первого уровня, из локаций пропадает весь интересный геймдизайн, всё становится максимально примитивным и простым "олдскульным шутанчиком". Потом там будет первый босс в разрушенном "Воллмарте", который немного вдыхает в вас жизнь, но тоже является просто бегом назад от него по кругу.
    Дальше вас ждёт новая секция из 5 локаций, тоже абсолютно не запоминающихся, ну.. было прикольное хождение по стенам в психушке, но..я ожидал прям какого-то боя в вертикальном пространстве, когда комната перевёрнута, но нет, разрабы ссыканули такое делать, просто подойди, нажми кнопку, у нас тут всё максимально простенько. Но вот финальный босс во 2 секции очень крутой, вот этот вот "стыренный" из Дума Шотган с крюком тут используется как надо, жаль, что очень коротко, но прям геймплейно кайфовый босс.
    И вот.. С 3 секции начинает играться гораздо бодрее..

The Big Bad Nurse has been handing out some really funky meds, turning the patients and the orderlies into lewd, blood-thirsty maniacs.One too many hits on the head. One too many hits off the pipe. One too many shootouts ending in carnage. And there we go - brain damage. That's the only explanation for what's happening to The POSTAL Dude. All of a sudden, he's in an asylum full of freaks. The Big Bad Nurse has been handing out some really funky meds, turning the patients and the orderlies into lewd, blood-thirsty maniacs. Is this some crazy nightmare, or is it the twisted reality?

    Not gonna lie, this game is pretty fun, the mechanics are pretty well implemented and gives a whole new vibe about the postal franchise, in a good way btw.

    By design, Postal: Brain Damaged is a relic of an era that passed about 20 years ago. It captures some of the best of the 2000s through lightning quick, buttery smooth and challenging gameplay, but also soils itself by relying on tired old tropes for comic relief and some rough edges with balancing. Postal Dude has a penchant for pissing himself and this Postal entry unfortunately can’t escape the dregs of his urine, but when did a little pee stop him causing havoc?

    Postal: Brain Damaged is, rather ironically, a sane and clear-headed new direction for the Postal series. Taking out the menial errands and aimless open world of Postal 4 to focus on straightforward levels and intense wave shooting was a great choice. Though the humor is as low-brow as ever, it’s much less repetitive and dials the penis and poop jokes down from a grating 10 to a tolerable 5. Featuring a vast variety of wild weapons and a netherworld full of nightmarish nemeses to use them on, Postal: Brain Damaged is a long-awaited return to psychopathic form for the series.
