    Portal 2 is the best game of the world, the puzzles, the gravity, the history, the musics and the final is spectacular. Portal 2 is my favorite game, no doubt.

    Everything perfected into one amazing puzzle game like no other.Although it is only 8 hours long, the gameplay is amazing.You get funny dialogue, amusing characters such as Wheatley and GLaDOS,memorable puzzles,awesome mechanics, amazing environments with great graphics and incredible story that will stick with you for decades to come.This game will be a classic that will age well.

    So gorgeous an interesting game. I love this with all my soul and heart. The variety of puzzles and the plot were unforgettable. I very much hope that this game will appeal to many people.

    Portal 2 is longer, with more content than it's predecessor, but I didn't enjoy it as much. The puzzles are still well-made, with most being satisfying to complete. The inclusion of gel also adds a welcome new mechanic to the gameplay. However, many of the puzzles aren't as challenging as the ones in the first game, and instead feel unnecessarily lengthened, especially in the second half.Portal 2 is longer, with more content than it's predecessor, but I didn't enjoy it as much. The areas are bigger, and the puzzles are longer, but the puzzles themselves are also less dense; often the solution is clear, but the process to get to it feels tedious. The writing is great, and the visuals are also great, but the light-hearted sections I felt were good, but they led to the atmospheric sections to be not quite as impactful as the first. Overall though, it's still a good game, and definitely worth the try if you liked the first one.… Expand

    This game is beautiful, very clean level, relaxed gameplay, nice little storyline. Just beautifull! There are not very, very much levels, but you can of course make one yourself, or download some from the Steam workshop. Really enjoy playing Portal 2!

    Let's just talk about the game, shall we? It's great, too great. The best puzzle game ever. This is a game that truly deserves to be in everyone's steam library. Pick it up, and if you hesitate wait for a sale, but I am telling you, it's worth every penny.

The storyline is perfect, and the unexpected change of good and bad characters revives the game at the end. The game took me 20 hours to complete, so the game is definitely a fun challenge.… Expand

    Excellent puzzle game with small funny details that just sets it above other games. If you are not in a hurry to complete the game, just listen to the voice acting and you will have a blast. Even though it has some years on its back it's still a very aesthetic and fun game that still holds.

A game of thought, precision, and humour, Portal 2 lacks very little compared to the experience it gives. If on metacritic user rating it was possible to give Portal 2 a 9.6, I would do exactly that.     Portal 2 is more-of-the-same sort of sequel. And it is definitely not a bad thing because original Portal was absolutely amazing. If you liked the original then no doubt that you will also like this one.

    A satisfying, complete and well polished experience, Portal 2 delves into a new concept of game design and expertly capitalizes on it. Throughout my experience playing Portal I think what kept me playing it rather than stopping on most games was the fact that I was never thinking to myself "How far away is the end, I just want to complete this". But I feel what sets this game apart is the feeling of accomplishment when you figure out how to complete a puzzle, or even after being stuck on this one area for 20 minutes you still carry on for that same satisfying feeling of completing the level. Apart from the single player story the co-op mode works great, and whether you're completing it with another person or playing with your friend, it's a genuinely fun experience throughout. GlaDos is annoying, funny, rude, and lovable at the same time and , without spoiling too much (although the game has been out for 19 years, get on it), has some weird changes throughout the story that really add depth to her previously inexpressive robotic character. Unlike the original, Portal 2 managed to have more than just 2 main characters, and of the new characters, my favorite is Wheatley. For a sphere with an eye, he is suprisingly expressive and adds a lot of humor to the game, especially when GlaDos is also speaking. As the map changes from the current aperture building to the old one, new puzzle mechanics and interesting locations tell a story in addition to the dialogue.… Expand

    Portal 2 is the sequel to Portal, one of the biggest surprises in gaming that basically came out of nowhere and got everyone hooked. Portal 2, on the other hand, was highly anticipated due to the success of the first game. And to a large extent, the game managed to deliver on the hype.

    Portal 2 introduces some new puzzle elements, such as different gels which -depending on the color-    Portal 2 is the sequel to Portal, one of the biggest surprises in gaming that basically came out of nowhere and got everyone hooked. Portal 2, on the other hand, was highly anticipated due to the success of the first game. And to a large extent, the game managed to deliver on the hype.

    Portal 2 introduces some new puzzle elements, such as different gels which -depending on the color- give you high speed, bouncing, or ability to open portals on “non-white” (non-portal compatible) surfaces. These new additions add variety to the puzzles and manage to keep the game interesting while it lasts. That said, I have found Portal 2 not as memorable as the first game for several reasons. Firstly, the story is not very interesting, and jokes are mostly not very funny. I have also found myself mostly annoyed by the new character, Wheatley. GLaDOS of the first game, for instance, was a much more interesting character / villain. Although there is a good variety of puzzles, they often feel too linear and easy, the reason being that there are very few white “portal compatible” surfaces compared to the first game. Most of the time, once you spot the white area, you are halfway through solving the puzzle. And once you solve it, you don’t really feel smart.

    “Still Alive” was one of the most memorable theme songs in video game history and although it would be unfair to expect a similar one from Portal 2, I should point out that the game lacks that “moment” the players experienced when they have beaten the first game.

    Overall, Portal 2 is still a very good game and anyone who liked the original game should play it. That being said, lack of great characters makes it a less memorable game and you will stop caring about it after one playthrough, unless you jump to one of many well received mods, such as Portal Stories: Mel.

    Single Player Campaign: 7.5/10

    At everything the single player campaign failed to impress me, the co-op campaign made up for it. I loved the creative and more challenging puzzle design and how you must act together with your friend to solve them. I know a few people who has played through the solo campaign and skipped the co-op part, assuming it is pretty much more of the same. Believe me, it isn’t. The co-op campaign is where Portal 2 truly shines.

    It takes What was great about Portal, expanded upon it, gave it better graphics, and a very thick story compared to the first game. the new laser and laser redirection cube were a nice addition as were Wheatley, the gels, the lightbridges, and the tractor beams and of course keeps the Masterful voice acting and witty jokes.     The difficulty curve of the puzzles are nice and steady but i will say it does get VERY difficult if turrets are involved it doesn't take as long for them to start shooting and they're placed more strategically than in the first game if you want some advise then try placing a portal behind them and a portal somewhere else get behind it and tip it over whenever you can. if you can't do that do what i like to call the death from above maneuver where you drop something on them.    … Expand

    Bem melhor que o primeiro. A história foi muito bem contada fazendo ela parecer mais complexa do que realmente é, pois boa parte é contada em pequenos detalhes e umas partes do enredo são completamente interpretativas.

    O desenvolvimento é meio maçante, mas o final é incrível.

    Ainda sim, tem partes que são realmente repetitivas.

    This game series is a classic. It helps with 4th dimensional thinking, and puzzle solving. There are a lot of fun failures and when you solve a level you feel like you have achieved something. This game is one of the staples in all of gaming history. A must for any gamer.

    What is there to day about Portal 2 that hasn't been said before? Don't get me wrong I know this game is a masterpiece, I enjoyed every second of the campaign as much as the multiplayer. It has aged brilliantly if you ask me, and at anytime I would recommend you pick it up and give it a try.     Portal 2 is one of my favorite games after all of these years. The story is so subtle (the real story of Aperture being hidden in secret areas all throughout the game) and seeing a whole new side of the expansive facility only mains me want to learn about the lore of the world more. The story is the perfect length for a good story and replay value and I've spent countless hours on the multiplayer with friends and family. Anyone I knew played and loved this game and has defined and stood out among one of the greatest videogame generations.     This game would be a perfect game if it was a bit shorter.
    Feels a bit fat.
    If you like puzzles it is not bad but at some point you want to improve with the story but game keeps giving you puzzles.
    Bigger and better than the first game in almost every way.

    In my opinion, Portal 1 is more well defined. Portal 2 is almost more of the same you find on the first one but with a new character that gives the game a more "funny" twist. If you loved Portal 1, the second release is mandatory.

    Best of Valve's both: a moving story and mind-boggling puzzle puzzles. If Portal's world wasn't as good as it is, you could've just play Portal 2 like in the case of Half Life series.

    Probably the best puzzle game I have played. Fantastic story, continues directly from Portal, which is also great. This game is so good, it falls into the must play category, regardless of which genre it is in.

Я игру забросил не потому что она скучная, она интересная, реально, но сложно, ну для меня тогда, сейчас надеюсь нормально пройду. А идея с порталами очень клевая, и это поистине оригинально.Крутая головоломка, играл летом 17 года, но забросил, т.к. сложно, в скором времени попробую перепройти. Я игру забросил не потому что она скучная, она интересная, реально, но сложно, ну для меня тогда, сейчас надеюсь нормально пройду. А идея с порталами очень клевая, и это поистине оригинально.

    As a sequel, it doesn’t really feel like one, Portal and Portal 2, feel like two very different experiences. This isn’t an inherently bad thing, but it is quite confusing.

    The first game was a very good puzzle game, but the story had a lot of potential and it was barely touched, that is fixed in Portal 2, which is a great puzzle game with surprisingly good story telling. It introduces a lot of very good and fun mechanics used in expertly crafted levels. One of the best games from Valve.

They will have you laughing at your own demise. Portal 2 introduces a variety of new "tools" (not actual tools) that open up new possibilities and increases the speed and the size of the tests. All you need to carry along is your trusty portal gun.
    On the technical side, the performance is smooth and completely free of the freezes/stutters that plagued the first Portal game. The loading screen looks more appealing and lets you know that it isn't frozen by having a couple dynamic parts. (Portal 1 had a stationary loading screen. If it froze, you couldn't tell for five minutes.)
    The only drawback now is the slow pacing when you're trying to figure out confusing puzzles or when you're searching for a small portal wall that is hard to find.
    Score: 9/10

    -Ending is satisfying and well made

    Cons:
    -Boss fight isn't explained in much detail, and will probably need multiple attempts if it's your first time playing Portal

This game is way longer than Portal. There are no extra singleplayer challenges like in Portal only co-op if you like that. Amazing music at the end both Portal and Portal 2.     An excellent sequel to the original Portal, with a good sense of humor and entertaining puzzles. However, it abuses a bit of the last resource and in the final stretch it gets a bit repetitive.

    Anyway, totally recommendable.

    Here's a great sequel. It takes everything from Portal 1 and improves it (Adding a Coop story too :P). Personally i think that this is one of the best games Valve has ever done.

    Kept the same incredible creativity of the first game, added some new mechanics for puzzles and the plot was intriguing like the first game as well. Also, I loved the interactions between the characters, there were so fun. Absolutely recommended, one of the best puzzle games out there.

The darkness, fear, suspense, and humor are all doubled down for some of the most enjoyable gameplay ever done. It's significantly longer than the first, as well.     I would recommend to watch some clips in Extras, it will tell u first about your equipment and the way it works. The main tool of our character is portal gun that became as popular as the lightsaber or phaser. Just the idea if its work is genius.
    Conclusion:

    This game is filled to the brim with witty dark humor and interesting puzzles that take advantage with the amazing mechanics. The game perfectly expands on the lore of the first game. The co-op is a fun way to share the experience with a friend. One of my favorites of all time.

    Puzzle games aren't really well known for having fantastic characters or a great storyline that makes you think. But this one not only manages to get all of it right, but manages to somehow expand it and make it and even more incredible experience than it's predecessor. Which was already fantastic.

    Great game. Story is very nicely continuing from first game, building upon what player already knows with few callbacks that brought smile upon my face. Puzzles do start slow, clearly explaining every mechanics to player and reward players later for using the same methods. in second part you start doing some mind bending crazy stunts which are really satisfying.     Она наполнена саркастическими шутками,и да головоломки не очень сложные но иногда заставляют пораскинуть мозгами.

    What an adventure it was! The characters in this game are incredibly silly, sarcastic and sometimes even adorable. The story was awesome from start to end and even the outro was iconic. Puzzles are challenging but not super hard, you will spend a good amount of time thinking about your strategy to finish each level. The AI/Robots are super well implemented in the game and the main NPC´sWhat an adventure it was! The characters in this game are incredibly silly, sarcastic and sometimes even adorable. The story was awesome from start to end and even the outro was iconic. Puzzles are challenging but not super hard, you will spend a good amount of time thinking about your strategy to finish each level. The AI/Robots are super well implemented in the game and the main NPC´s feel like real humans with a personality and humor. I wish the story would have been double as long as it is, because I had a blast playing it. I also played CO-OP with some of my friends and I would highly recommend doing that too! You need good coordination and teamwork to achieve your goal. It´s impossible to not have a good time while playing with friends, since the puzzles are very well planned for two people and it´s hilarious to see your partner fail while a sarcastic robot makes jokes about the two of you! Looking forward to try out the community-maps!

    I highly recommend playing this game, it´s timeless and I definitely don´t regret playing it in 2020! One of my new All-Time-Favorites!

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This was amazing. I enjoyed every second of this game. A perfect sequel of the first game, which expands upon laid out mechanics from the first game. The story was amazing and after the twist where Wheatley (I think that's the name) I thought it would end fairly soon (due to the length of the first game). BUT NOPE! I hadn't even reached halfway through. I felt that the introduction of the gel made the puzzle element of the game a lot more puzzling. Great value, 10/10.… Expand

    The perfect sequel for an amazing game! Gameplay is just as fun as the previous one, but it introduces more mechanics and more puzzles to solve. A lot of fun to play!

    Almost as good as the first one. Main reasons are lack of cake, unfunny Wheatley and slightly boring one-solution middle-levels. Otherwise Portal 2 is as clever as it is well written. And now Half-Life 2: Ep 3, please. [May 2011]
