    Plants vs. Zombies is a fantastic and adorable game that I have been playing for the past 5 years. True, it IS a little too easy, okay a LOT too easy for a tower defence game. Honestly, this game is insanely good and I love it, but too easy. There also aren't masses and masses of weapons to choose from, or enemies to fight them with.     Those that dont like games still go WOW over this game and those that think they want long and complicated games go WOW.

    This game, is amazing. If only EA had not ripped the heart out of PopCap by owning them... Then maybe there would have been a chance for an amazing sequel, but instead it was infected with greedy developers full of FTP plaguing aspects.

    So fun, so addictive, so creative and original. A must play for anyone who's looking a break from all those AAA shooters, RPGs and MMOs!

    By the way, if you're a WoW player, you need to play through this game. The only thing I can say without spoiling anything is go to Tarren Mill ;)

    Es un juego muy divertido 100% rejugable, amplio, de mis favoritos de todos los tiempos,lo recomiendo mucho también en nintendo DS me parece la mejor plataforma para jugarlo por el stylus y los minijuegos exclusivos.

    this game is great almost 10 years old and still holds up well today. there are 49 different plants to chose from and like 20 zombies if you are looking for a game that is easy adventure and hard too 100% this is for you

    One of the best games I have ever played. The game never gets boring. I can see it reaching the popularity of Five Nights at Freddy's or even higher. The game keeps you playing by presenting you with new plants and new challenges. Everything here is very well done.

    As a puzzle games lover, this title make me play a lot of hours. The minimalist but awesome gameplay it's that make this game addictive, with charismatic characters and a crazy history.

    it's simple and does what its meant to, this game was a part of my childhood and for that, ill remember it forever. I came back to replay it and hell, it still has it.
    The end level and mini games are some of the most epic levels in a tower defense and the reward from the end level brought tears to my eyes. I    Oh it feels great coming back to review this gem of a game. (NO TLDR NEEDED)

    This is probably a 9.5. There is so much fun to be had and so many different things to do. There might be three legitimate complaints. If you do adventure mode a couple of times, it does feel like a chore. The game is probably too easy. Some of the mini games is very heavily luck based as are some of the endless puzzle boards.     Plants Vs. Zombies is a perfect game. No stupid DLC or Microtransactions, a great story mode, excellent humor, awesome split-screen, and great mini-games. This game is an amazing classic that at least everyone can have a good time playing a silly strategy game with you planting sunflowers and bombs against disco and jack-in-the-box zombies.

    Plants vs Zombies are a greatest game i played in my childhood second is Angry Birds. The Gameplay is so much beautiful and fun, i defeated Dr. Zomboss several times, and watering plants in Zen Garden everytime, this game just hits my nostalgia.

    This first game is the best of all, fun, with a great soundtrack, and good character design already 2,3,4 the characters are a downgrade of the first Not to mention Garden warfare which is a much traveled game. PVZ1 is simply an easy, simple and fun game

    All time classic! plants vs zombies innovated on the tower defense genre in a groundbreaking way. the opening of plants vs zombies is heavily tutorial based and shows you the ropes of the mechanics, in which mechanics are made to perfection, I can't think of a single flaw, PopCap also did a exceptional job at the pacing of this game, cards are earned every level and your given meaningful upgrades.

The game at base value seems basic but it's anything but, you have an extensive amount of plants that you are able to use that all have their own pros and cons.     I think this is the best tower defense game i've ever played. From the innovative idea to the art. The soundtrack has some of my personal favourite music and even this really goofy game has an iper hyped final boss fight. Good even in 2023.

    it will be cool with online play (one team plants and one team zombies) and quick play will be cool too. It was just a idé.

    A very surprising game that makes me laugh every time i play it. Is no only the story mode but puzzle mode, mini game mode, survival mode and the zen garden that makes this game long enough for 10 bucks. give it a try, you don't get disappointed.

    The gameplay is deceptively simple, but way more fun than it deserves to be. Take the overdone tower defense-style game, strip it down, and give it a sense of humor and style of its own. Definitely worth the $10.

I have a top of the line computer (i7 920, Gforce 280 GTX) and I knew what this game was before I bought it. I thoroughly enjoy games like this along with the top graphic candy games. There is nothing at all wrong with these types of games. Last time I checked, nobody is forcing This is another winner from Popcaps. A really fun and addictive game.     This is, in my opinion, one of the best games Pop Cap have developed. This game is adictive and humorus. It's the sort of game that you play and play until you beat it, leave it alone for a year or so, then come back and do it again! A must buy for only $9.99!

    Great fun at a low price... not as sophisticated as Defense Grid, but complex in some very creative ways. Plants vs. Zombies is well worth your time. Popcap is known for its simple but entertaining titles, and this one is assuredly another hit for them.

    I like PopCap games. Plants vs. Zombies isn't an exception. It is funny, somehow cute and extremely entertaining. I can't understand Henry M though. There are a lot more nextgen games than those like Plants vs. Zombies and you shouldnt underrate it just because of its graphics. I have good PC too, but I still like Half-Life more than Crysis, no matter what graphics it has.

    It's just fun. Pure fun. No, it doesn't exactly run on CryEngine2, but it's from PopCap - not known for ultra-realistic graphics, but cartoony fun. And this game will keep you entertained for hours on end. Buy it.

    I find Plants Vs. Zombies to be a tremendous bang for your buck. It has plenty of mini-games and replay value to keep you coming back for more, and only $10! It's really good if you've got a laptop with an Intel graphics accelerator and want to play a fun game.

    The humor alone is worth the price of admission. The gameplay is fun, the variety is fantastic, and the addiction level of the game is off the charts. Highly recommend to casual players, strategy players, or anyone that enjoys a good laugh while playing a fun game.

    I agree with the majority and think the 9 other KIDS trying to review this need not bother reviewing games anymore. This game has strategy written all over it. Getting bored just means you have a very short attention span and obviously no love for gaming. The only reason this game lost a point is because of it being a bit overpriced.

    Henry M for wasting his cash and showing how ignorance is dangerous. But honestly this is a great game. Caught me by suprise and had me addicted quickly. Along with good humor and very simple gameplay. Good value for any gamer... unless you blasted a few grand to play games that only look good then you should probably find a more useful way to spend your time and money.

    Amazing game for such a simple yet effective concept. A blast to play and it's got an amazing level of humor. There's plenty of plants to choose from and every zombie that walks onto your screen will crack you up every time. Try the demo on Steam if your wary, but after that 60 minute demo, I'm sure you'll be buying it within 5 minutes.

    The game is excellent for what I've played thus far. The game's early levels have a gentle learning curve, but it isn't too easy. Night mode, bowling mode and other quirks help to keep the game fresh. And Henry M? If you 'don't want to play Commodore 64 games', then next time, don't play them.

    Henry M: Dont play it if you dont like it, your comment is the reason I dont trust most user rating systems. People tend to 0 rate things that dont deserve a 0 rating at all -- lighten up and enjoy the game, not the specs!! This is game is great fun , period.

    Henry M and his "Power Gaming House" should probably stick to something flashy and brainless- perhaps sticking his own leg in a lawn mower would be a sufficiently visceral experience. This is game crafting at it's best and you'll be playing for weeks. Great game, impossible to dislike. (Unless, like Henry, you get your kicks from watching your POWER GAMING HOUSE make pretty colours for you) ;)… Expand

    Totally entertaining, and a very worthwhile $10. My only gripe - people who play games regularly will find it much too easy (early on at least) .. a hard mode would have been appreciated. I also believe this would make for some hilarious player vs player action, if you could find a way of allowing one player to unleash zombie hordes upon the other.

    It's tower defence with a great twist. You can download it in 20 seconds and it'll keep you engrossed for hours. A very entertaining and addictive game and one that is instantly playable by just just about anyone. It's funny, it's fun and with a free hour long demo you have absolutely no reason not to try this. Go grab it.

Plants vs. Zombies continues in that tradition hands down by turning Tower Defense games into hours and hours of fun that can be enjoyed by young, old, and all ages in between.     Very funny and crazy game. Zombies are funny (espetiality reaction after ate a garlic :D), too. Good graphic, good voices and good resolution (PvZ running on my PC - 1 GHz, 512 DDR and 256 MB DDR2 video card - this game have only one year!).9 because sometimes game is boring or too dificult. Also very good minigames (puzzle, aquarium etc).

    A wonderful little tower defense game, with enough innovation to distinguish it from a crowded field. The fact that it requires strategy instead of tower spamming makes it a special treat for "hardcore tower defense fans" like myself.

    This is a fun, humorous game and one of the best tower defense and zombie games of all time. However the long-time waiting for the next moment should have been achieved by speeding up the game which doesn't have one.

I get bored when games are too difficult because it starts getting frustrating, and I have no interest in grinding in a game to practice when that skill is utterly pointless in anything /but/ that specific game. This is a little toy where you shut off your brain, wear a dumb little smile, and absorb fun. Nevertheless I realize challenge is necessary for 99% of people and I'm just a freak in that regard (and most regards, if you ask the hooker tied up in my basement)

    The graphics are, in context of a 2D sprite-based game, astoundingly good. Even upscaled to my 1680x1200 monitor, it remains very smooth, and automatically preserves the aspect ratio. The art design is absolutely adorable and the entire thing has a very tongue-in-cheek wittiness to it. Frankly if it were a 3D game, I think some of the charm would be lost.

    It is very well thought-out, shown in the fact all the minigames are only slight modifications of the game without any actual change to units or gameplay, yet remain balanced. In my opinion the minigames are infinitely more difficult and more fun than the story mode, however as for the Zen garden? Eh, I could take it or leave it.

    All in all? If I had to sum up this game in one word, it would be "charming."    … Expand

Im buying the 360 version (as soon as I get a 360, crossin my fingers for this Christmas) just so me and my friend (who likes the game even more) can play it all over again! It has 50 levels of "Adventure mode" play which unlocks 20 mini-games, 11 survival mode games, and 18 puzzle games, not to mention the "zen garden," which has three different gardens itself. Apart from the adventure mode, there are also plenty of puzzles and mini games to try out, as well as the survival mode, all of which make the game last slightly longer. Plus, grinding for expensive fertilizer for your tree of obvious*cough* I mean 'wisdom' is get boring. But, I will get at least 20+ hours of fun game play from this game. If you are bored.     very fun game! I was glued to my pc for a week setting up my plants in different defensive formations on Survival: Endless... very much worth the few bucks it costs on Steam, not a lot of long-term playability (hence my 9 rating instead of 10) but worth every penny for a few weeks of entertainment.

Some people complain about the graphics, I think they're cute, and with such a silly concept for the game, it wouldn't look right if it had more serious graphics: it was a design choice, definitely not a lack of skill.

    I personally recommend the PC version way over the XBOX360 version simply because using a mouse is much more efficient, I game on my XBOX a good amount and it hurt my hands to try to play intense levels with the 360 controller.    … Expand

    I never thought this type of game would keep me entertained for so many hours but it did. I think any person, even someone who does not play games, can get easily addicted to it.
