Jun 14, 2014Really average game. Dunno why it got good reviews. Fun wears off quick and the timer removes the relaxing feeling. Could've been a LOT better but it's not.

Dec 30, 2013Honestly, don't know what everyone saw in this game. Floaty mechanics, lots of trial an error to get where you want.
Just putting a beautiful visual and electronic music together does not make automatically this a great game. Second PixelJunk game I tried (the other is SideScroller) and no big impressions so far... -

Sep 11, 2014Multiplayer without multiplayer. If it only had multiplayer it would be great multiplayer but it has no multiplayer so it is not multiplayer. Ps3 has multplayer, my pc could emulate 5 ps3. I should have 10players i have 1. is this 150 characters? how many words do i need to say just that this game has no multiplayer alltough it is multiplayer.

Sep 11, 2017Abstract, somewhat artful.
I did not enjoy, nor did i like the music and found the playing experience - vegetable-like.
Junk it is.
I will suggest "Waking Mars" as the better, yet less abstract, alternative.
En Resumen:
Game Play Turned Me Into a Vegetable. -

LEVEL (Czech Republic)Mar 22, 2012A visually powerful game is so unique in many ways that the mainstream player will probably not enjoy it. It's more of a meditation tool than actual game. [March 2012]

PC GamerMar 21, 2012As a game, there's not a lot of challenge to Eden--but as an experience, it's well worth spending time with. [May 2012, p.67]

Feb 15, 2012PixelJunk Eden delivers an engaging and meaningful experience, immersing you in an alternate reality while jumping from plant to plant, titillated by music and colors, progressively gaining more control over the inertial gameplay. If Q-Games' series always intrigued you, this is certainly an excellent opportunity to make its acquaintance.
