    Vraiment très sympa fais sur le quest, c'est très joli, très agréable à jouer et un bel hommage aux jeux rétros.

    Seuls points négatifs : un peu trop court et un peu trop facile, sinon tout le reste est parfait.

    In the newest chapter of the acclaimed Pixel Ripped series, gamers will take an unforgettable nostalgic trip back to 1995 in this Virtual Reality love letter to classic gaming. Set in a classic era when 16-bit was evolving to 32-bit and first-generation console players were evolving from teens to adults, players will take a trip inside (and outside) of their video game screens to save the universe. In Pixel Ripped 1995, video game hero Dot will recruit the help of the best gamer of the year, an unassuming 9-year-old boy named David, to face challenges together through the world of 2D games and the very first 3D games.

    This game is not just a nostalgia trip it replays the hardships of many things gamers went through back in the day. Such as sneaking to beat that last level of your favorite 90s game before your mom catches you for staying up too late in the middle of your epic boss battle encounter.
    Graphics are great and as we all know in VR - Immersion is King and immersion is at it's best in this game. I found times where I forgot I was playing a game within a game.
    Sound is amazing - With the 16 bit musical scores the audio does not dissapoint
    Fun Factor - It's so much fun I couldn't stop playing. If you enjoyed the first instalment then you will be enjoying this game in abundance
    I also want to add that if you are a Retro Gamer there are tons of old Nostagia 16 bit easter eggs that put a huge smile on my face.
    Conclusion - ARVORE once again knocked it out of the park because this team thinks outside of the box and gives us something totally new with using our favortie childhood memories from the past.

    Players will remember that classic feeling of adrenaline when trying to play video games post-bedtime without getting caught, or the thrill of finally finding that brand new game at the store. They will venture through homages to the best games and genres from the 1990s, like action RPGs, brawlers, platformers, space shooters, and racing games. And they will do it all while dodging the indignation of miffed parents through multiple environments — the living room, bedroom, the local video rental store, the arcade at the pier, and more. With 6 fully original levels that each feel like entirely different games, Pixel Ripped 1995 is an incredible journey for both VR and retro gamers.

    This is a great game on the PC. However, the Quest ported version isn't that great I'll say. The graphics are amazing but the movement caused me nausea. The teleportation spell costs mana instead of being free. And the maze-like world only becomes more complex and bugged later on so that you cannot finish the game.

It builds off the nostalgia of 1989’s 8-bit console gaming action by including 16-bit and 32-bit era style games.

    For most of Pixel Ripped 1995 you’ll be playing classic-style games on various consoles, navigating through their worlds with Dot, and even jumping between games to mix their various mechanics. You’ll also be interacting with the real world as 9-year-old David as he tries to play video games as much as possible while dealing with a neighborhood jerk, his parents, and other issues that trouble 9-year-olds.

    Then there are the boss battles where the digital and real worlds combine. It’s more than just Dot’s life on the line, but David’s as well! Use real-world objects to interact with digital ones in a blend that blurs the lines between Dot and David’s worlds, as well as our own.

    Being born in the ’80s, this game really hit a sweet spot for me. It was no problem seeing which classic systems and games were being spoofed throughout the game, and each one felt unique in how it was played. It took a bit of getting used to pretending to use a console controller in-game while using my Oculus controllers but soon it became second nature.

    The best part of Pixel Ripped 1995 is how I could play for extended periods of time without feeling nauseated. The game is ultra-immersive without being in-your-face and I didn’t feel the classic motion sickness I normally feel with many VR games after 10-15 minutes of play. In fact almost an hour had gone by before I even thought to think about how long I’d been playing.

    I’m a bit late to the VR scene, but so far Pixel Ripped 1995 has been one of the very few games I’ve enjoyed with my Oculus. It doesn’t strive for over-the-top VR gimmicks yet delivers an experience unlike I’ve ever had before. It’s a real treat and a game that any VR player, especially ones who remember the days of 16-bit gaming, should check out.    … Expand

    If a part of you can appreciate the hallmarks of gaming’s immature past — with its cheesy villains and stiff-limbed avatars — this title will likely cheer you.

    Pixel Ripped 1995 refines the original formula with better graphics, better retro games and more polished sensations... even if they feel similar to Pixel Ripped 1985. Even that doesn't prevent the game from being a huge revival full of homages to a great era in videogaming history that, while it lasts, its full of joy.

    Pixel Ripped 1995 is a bigger, bolder, and even more nostalgic walk down memory lane that shifts the focus from the late 80s to the early 90s — perhaps the most iconic and formative decade of the video game industry to date. By mixing together riffs off of popular games such as Castlevania, The Legend of Zelda, Streets of Rage, Sonic the Hedgehog, Mario, and more, Pixel Ripped is a sleek and powerful blast of nostalgia that brings back potent memories of hunching over CRT TVs in the dead of night playing games. I want to spend more time in this world and get to know its characters even better and this is a truly solid improvement over Pixel Ripped 1989.
