One of the best VR games I have played, next to beat saber and super hot.
    Really a must buy.

Do you want to feel like John Wick shooting bad guys to a banging soundtrack? Of course you do!

In the past 3 weeks I have been enjoying various experiences in VR, (Beat Saber, Superhot, Arizona Sunshine, Asgard's Wrath, Blade and Sorcery). I have been playing titles both large in scope and small.

Pistol Whip is my favorite VR experience. The ultimate goal in VR is to make you feel awesome. Pistol Whip NAILS that and gives you a great workout all the while.

I actually feel like John Wick moving through these fantastic abstract vignettes, changing my shooting position, dodging bullets and obstacles all while nailing my shots to the beat of the banging soundtrack.

Absolutely awesome VR game. Great workout, I couldn't walk for 2 days after. The music is good, you feel like John Wick and feel like youre dancing with your pistol. Wish there was more levels and songs though, that's the only thing stopping me from giving it a 10/10

This is definitely one of the best games on the Quest. This game does a lot of things right. Movement doesn't feel nauseating for some reason. You have an insane amount of guns to choose from. There are lots of bad guys and the timing feels just right. There are surprise elements. There are lots of levels to unlock.

You can even tweak difficulty to either ramp it up or tone it down

You can even tweak difficulty to either ramp it up or tone it down considerably. Which makes a big difference in the gameplay. This allows everyone to play according to their choice of difficulty. Very good job on that!

    Overall, a perfect game!

I love this game! Like Superhot meets Beat Saber or the John Wick simulator.

Awesome game, it's like beat saber if you like guns, and you can do pretty awesome stuff from the get go,(Though I do recommend going hardcore for actual learning instead of just feeling like a badass all the time... But if that's your jam, the game also let's ya customize to your heart's content.) and it has a really stylish look with a very good and rather fitting soundtrack to boot.Awesome game, it's like beat saber if you like guns, and you can do pretty awesome stuff from the get go,(Though I do recommend going hardcore for actual learning instead of just feeling like a badass all the time... Just left me wishing for more! But the devs are always updating, and there's already more on the horizon,so...

    TL/DR 10/10, money well spent.

모드화가 쉽지 않을거라는게 유일한 단점...하지만 가격대비 분량은 벌써 가성비의 단계를 한참 뛰어넘었다. VR게임 필구목록중 하나...

This game knows what it is and what it wants to do. It's slick gameplay and awesome soundtrack lead to a VR experience that sticks with you and will have you want to just dive back in and play "just one more round".

If you get the opportunity to mess around with a VR set, or own one and somehow haven't played this, do yourself a favor and give it a shot. It is a positively electrifying experience (though it could serve to be a little more content-heavy)

It's hard to think of a better example of what VR does so well than Pistol Whip. An immensely enjoyable soundtrack that directly feeds into the core gameplay loop and some wonderfully vibrant visuals all add together with addictive gameplay to make this a fantastic experience. For a great workout it's perfect but with the modifiers allowing more relaxed gameplay, it also can appeal to those who just want some escapism. 2089 adds a new layer on top with an actual narrative tying together the gameplay, adding to what is already a pretty great package. The fact that all the content was added as free updates also goes to show not all VR games need to be extortionately priced.

Pistol Whip is an excellent and original VR Rhythm FPS, now even more unmissable with the free 2089 DLC. Great on PC VR, but even better wireless on Oculus Quest or Quest 2.

It's delightful stuff in full flow, and while there's not much to it - just ten levels are available at launch , each lasting only a few minutes - there's significant replay value in committing level and spawn layouts to memory. [Issue#341, p.122]
