A bit more polish and above all, more time for the fine adjustment in the action passages Pine would have done well and may even make it an indie surprise hit. So it's rather something for fans of interesting thought experiments.

The developers cooked up a really pretty open world. Small but full of life. There’s also good sound design, pleasant graphics and... the feeling of deficiency after the end credits. [13/2019, p.45]

For all its duration, just over 20 hours, Pine always seems ready to take flight, but never succeed. It is not a bad game, but it is one of those full of good ideas that have only partially implemented.

Good game. Including adventure puzzles and most importantly Epic Games gave it for free so you know give it a shot.

I've played a couple of hours and all glitches aside, I like it. Really hope they keep polishing it out because this has great potential! Wish instead they would've let you pick your race because that would've been awesome! That's just a wish though. Full Review »
