AotI has greatly improved the overall gameplay that was present in the original PSU. As a die hard fan of PSO, I found that making the transition to Phantasy Star Universe was quite difficult initially; however, since the release of AotI, I've really been enjoying myself.

My advice; if you have been hesitant to give PSU a try --or if you have tried it in the past and were

My advice; if you have been hesitant to give PSU a try --or if you have tried it in the past and were disappointed-- this is a great time to pick up another copy of the game (or resubscribe). Most of the gameplay elements have been vastly improved, and even the original PSO levels will be included/remade as stages in PSU shortly.

Phantasy Star Universe is a great MMORPG focusing in on dungeon slashing elements. It's a great alternative to the heavy grind MMO's out there, but also has those objectives for those who wish to do so. A great game that's a lot of fun, and the battle system won't baffle or slow you down.
