May 31, 2014Terrible UI and matchmaking.
Extremely repetetive gameplay.
Bad gunplay.
Strangely slow weapon progression.
DLCs with weapons
Lag problems
The only plus: you feel like a fuking bank robber
If you are on your payday better buy another game, this is a crappy one. -

Sep 29, 2013Payday 2 is anything but a good Coop shooter. For starters, the voice acting is terrible, so is the mission design. It's an overpriced half finished shooter that does nothing new to re-invent the genre. You might aswell just save your 30€ and pre order GTA V instead.

Oct 24, 2015- Paid Game ($25.00 at full price)
- More than 20 paid DLCs to date ($5.00-$8.00 each). The most powerful weapons are locked behind DLCs. They've recently rebalanced the weapons to ensure this is the case.
- Recently introduced micro-transactions involving RNG, so you're never certain you'll get the skin you want ($2.95 for each random drill drop). Also, 80% of the skins look trash. -
Oct 16, 2015Had a lot of fun with this game for a long time. This is the only reason I can give as high a rating as a 4 based on what Overkill has recently done. Adding microtransactions to your game is one of the very best ways to say piss on your veteran players, and to give the impression you only care about making money and new players. Overkill you are terrible and should feel terrible.

Oct 24, 2015im not buying a million dlc's and paying to open op certain things just to enjoy a rather good piece of gaming.. the game itself is great but not very enjoyable when you can barely buy basic equipment without spending real money from the base game..

Mar 4, 2019Boring, with horrible AI (Police acts like zombies in L4D2 - always pushing, always rushing you), solo mode is not entertaining and game is bugged + micro transactions

Oct 15, 2020PAYDAY 2 is a four-player co-op shooter that has you sporting the masks of the original PAYDAY gang – Dallas, Hoxton, Wolf and Chains – as they hit on Washington D.C. for an epic crime rampage. The new CRIMENET network offers a vast array of dynamic contracts - choose anything from small-time store rips, cyber-crime or major bank vaults for that lucrative PAYDAY

Oct 9, 2013PayDay 2 is one of the nicest surprises of the year. Overkill Software understands the atmosphere of gangster movies and wisely improves these pieces of gameplay, that might have been disappointing in the first game. The sequel is better in almost every way - you can play a thief and enjoy good character development and shooting systems. I really hope, that PayDay 3 will be even better.
