    Path Of Exile no respeta ni siquiera los elementos básicos de un juego de rol. Al comenzar, te colocan un enemigo que lanza ataques aéreos y te mata al instante. Imagino que lo colocan para obligarte a comprar items de pago. Después de jugar 10 minutos, no quedan ganas de seguir jugando. Además, el entorno es más feo que pegarle a la mamá.

A downside is that if you want to push the game to its limits you have to use 3rd party sites/software/sources for information and stuff but I guess if you are that type of hardcore gamer it won't be a big deal anyway.     A phenomenal action RPG that has proved to be so much more than the "Diablo" clone that many accuse it of being. Path of Exile rewards you for learning its intricate systems and diverse combat systems with consistently enjoyable gameplay that will carry you through infinite playthroughs! How is this game free!?

    There are too many things that ruin the game:

    1.Trading: No trading system, items are offered via trade chat (about 100 per minute). Impossible to compare offers for a single item you are looking for.     Leveling up a character becomes boring if you have to repeat the same areas 3 times before you attempt what they call "end-game content".

    3. End game and rewards:

    That is running maps (with map levels from 66 up to 79) with a Bossmonster at the end of the map.That looks fine because we all know that Bossmonsters hold special rewards like cool Uniques or currency or even more maps. In fact, they drop crap. I ran lvl 77-78 maps with a guildmate who had an 400% increased chance to get rarer items for almost a week and got nothing valuable.

    There are too many things ruining gameplay and have not been adressed as of now, one of the worst is desync. Loosing hours of playtime you have spend because your character dies and suffers a 10% XP penalty becaus the servers loose the exact position of your character and sends you back to a place where you had been a few seconds before isn't really fun. The official game forum is full of players complaining exactly this. And now, something funny: GGG declares this as a feature to prevent cheating.

    Partying sounds like fun, if you like dia-shows.Too many skills and character builds cause even high-end computers to drop down to a few frames when playing in a group.
    The last mini expansion "The Forsaken Masters" made it even worse.With this expansion players can have their own personal hideout, a place to rest or sort things in your stash, nothing special because this hideout is only a small tileset with a few objects like bricks or a wall or a few trees. Guess what happens to your framerate when entering your or other players hideout? But hey........you can
    decorate your personal hideout with hundreds of objects (of course you can buy them from GGG, but there are also free ones)....guess again what happens to your framerate and loading time ?
    I forgot weather effects. Yes, weather effects have been implemented to more and more areas over the last months although many players complain about framedrops in these areas.Instead of adding a chance to turn weather effects off via the options menue, they add even more.
    Opening the box....surprise, surprise......whats in the box? While running around you may find kind of a chest box, called strongbox.Introduced in the "Ambush league" a few months ago, you'll get ambushed by monsters when opening these boxes.Sounds funny, but.............many computers freeze for 1-2 secs while the game is loading the monsters. Click the Resurrect button and take the 10% XP penalty.    … Expand

    PoE is easily the best arpg on the modern market. After the latest new AAA releases, its position just got stronger.
    You can try Titan Quest, Torchlight, Grim Dawn, D4, but none of it will even come close to the huge content PoE has as well as the most important things: Itemization, builds, progression and endgame content.
    This is a arpg for life.

Unable to trade for build dependent items at reasonable prices (unlike PC). This makes farming kind of pointless & crafting exponentially more difficult.
    4. Too easy to get one shotted by random mobs and not know why.
    5. Video build guides entirely for PC and not console.
    6. Not new player friendly. Even after 350 hours I kept feeling lost.

    I hope POE 2 addresses these issues. Overall, game is far superior to Diablo 4.

    Try playing POE on console. Lack of players & gold/loot farmers makes many trades cost prohibitive. Which kinda ruins farming & requires way more ctafting. No group finder.     One of the best ARPGs out there, a must try. It has a large learning curve but if you’re okay with skill trees, you will be fine.

    - The levelling on this game feels impactful.     - Contrary to popular opinion. The game isn't really that hard to get into, the only drawback is the amount of 3rd party sites which may be necessary to follow a build.
    - The work and research you put into a build is rewarded by the outcome of said build.
    - There are millions of different items, and hundreds of different uniques,
    - It is easy to see what is happening on the screen.

    Cons

    - Some rare enemies can be more problematic than unique bosses. This is especially the case in newer leagues as they have not been balanced. Some of the rares can often kill even the tankiest of builds.
    - Some affixes are poorly balanced and over-tuned. For example, corrupting blood has always been a strong affix and even has certain builds' attempt to counter this by making themselves immune to the affix over playing through it.
    - The lighting in the Sirus fight is abysmal and this is not helped by the floor textures used which overlap with his abilities.    … Expand

    I am writing this review after finishing the campaign after 31 hrs and reaching lv 72. The game is honestly amazing especially considering its age, the variety of skills and passive tree allow for so much customization and choice that it is simply unreal. My main issue with the game is that even though you are only just going through the campaign which is consider by most as a tutorial the game constantly throws new systems at you from previous leagues. I found this to be a bit of distraction while trying to focus on finishing the base game first though its not a big inconvenience since you can just move and ignore them. Main issue with that is if you are new player you are already overwhelmed by all base mechanics and throwing mechanics and content from past few years at you while you are still learning is not the best first player experience. Overall I enjoyed my time with POE and will come back for more.… Expand

    The best sandbox for the hardcore gamer. There are plenty of opportunities to do something interesting. Of course, I would like to see more opportunities to play content on long-forgotten and nerfed builds, but that's what we have.

    PoE took Diablo 2 as a base and became a new standard of the genre. Not everything is great - handling of character can be better. But it is best almost at everything else - a lot of interesting mechanics, build and skill diversity, huge potential of customizing your character (passive tree, jewels, skill gems and skill support gems), trade and economics, great crafting system.

    In PoE    PoE took Diablo 2 as a base and became a new standard of the genre. Not everything is great - handling of character can be better. But it is best almost at everything else - a lot of interesting mechanics, build and skill diversity, huge potential of customizing your character (passive tree, jewels, skill gems and skill support gems), trade and economics, great crafting system.

    In PoE you can do everything you want - you just need to learn how

    About Free to Play - I prefer PoE over Diablo model of monetisation. With equal money that you pay for Diablo you can buy here everything you need a few times. In reality you need around 30-40$ for tabs and you're very comfy, without them it's ok to play as well - I played at least first 500 hours without them. In Diablo I quit 70$ game after 300 hours. Also I personally like what PoE designers can do with shop skins. And skins for skills are just too tier. You can play the same build for years but feel it different just by buying other skins.

    PoE have one of the best development teams. They release a lot of content very often and with minimum bugs. Maybe GGG managers and designers make wrong decisions some time, but overall they hear players most of the time and doing good job at supporting one of the biggest and complex games of RPG genre.

    PoE may confuse you sometimes, but I think that it's better when it's not easy to master the game. I prefer to learn something new after 1000 hours of the game. Good job, GGG. Just listen to your players a little bit more and all will be great    … Expand

    Lots of content as long as you follow the meta. If you want to have fun with a homecooked build you're probably gonna stall out in yellow maps or red maps, which is essentially like heroic dungeons in terms of end game progression.

The game becomes much more enjoyable. Endgame is very good. The missing part of the game is that the game engine is old and the graphics are insufficient today. But a big expansion is coming soon. Since 2018, the quality of leagues started to decline due to power creep and mechanic-simplicity, and PC system requirements increased to run the higher demanding graphics as well. I would deduct 2 points due to the time commitment required to play PoE however, this seems unfair especially for players who can nolife. Nonetheless, PoE is a spectacular game with incredible depth and longevity. (and yes D4 is complete garbage in comparison). Can't wait for PoE2.… Expand

    This is the best in its class, and with continuing support, it will remain so. An upcoming sequel will help alleviate the feature bloat of such a long lifetime for a diverse and comprehensive gameplay loop with as many extended layers of complexity as one could only dream of. This game will live on in the history of video games as an exemplar of a genre it helped cultivate into maturity.

    I have 10k hours in this game and love it. Best game I have played in 5 years. Played D4 for a couple weeks and it shows, the gap on how much better this game is large. Cant wait for next season.

    Most addictive game ever. Complexity is great and will take long time to master, but there's plenty of helpful guides if needed. I would recommend to just play and try things to see what you like to play with. Live, learn and find your favourite skills/classes/ascensions etc etc.

Last 5 leagues are stagnation, fake promises of poe2 that doesn't exist at all, still fixing a league problems for months since release. QOL team is outsorcing indian students? When new expansion? When refresh of old content, act system?

Guides on everything from how anything in the game works, because the game won't explain it to you, to optimal farming strategies so you can afford to buy your gear from other players, and then you go finish the game.     A Diablo-like free-to-play MMO.

    Good: - great music - a large selection of abilities, spells and effects - free So-so: - the game is messy in a sense that there are lots of mobs, lots of stuff happening all at once and it's often hard to see what's going on, especially if you play as a witch with tons of summoned minions.     - at the same time it's a rather simple game, at least the first act that I've seen. You defeat mobs like crazy and the game feels like it was made for kids. As a witch, you can just run around and occasionally summon skeletons - and your minions kill everything for you
    - the idea of gems giving abilities is novel but doesn't feel good. I'd much more prefer to just learn spells - this feels like improving a character. But with gems and gear it all feels like consumerism, fixed on the notion of owning things. But I understand it's the same from the game mechanic point of view. It's just the framing

    Bad:
    - poor performance. Even on the lowest graphical settings everything was lagging for me all the time. I have a decent gaming laptop from late 2018 which at that time could run Oculus VR
    - there are lots of items dropping but you never have enough space to loot them. You end up leaving even blue items on the floor. What's the point in this? They should have added some spell to disenchant those items or whatever, not just force the player to skip loot. Also, the idea to not have a universal currency (like gold) in the game was a bad one. You end up getting ingredients for various orbs in exchange for the loot you sell - and much of those aren't even needed for anything useful. It's just clutter and clutter in your stash. Sorting out inventory ends up consuming a lot of your playtime, and it's not fun
    - as it goes with most fantasy games, the story is forgettable trash that I stopped reading after the first few dialogs

    I didn't enjoy it past the few first zones. It's too easy, too quick, too messy. Maybe it just targets teenagers, I dunno. Not for me. It's sad for me to see the Diablo genre degrade into this.    … Expand

    Od dziecka byłem fanem Diablo o gier z tego gatunku ale to co dostałem w PoE przerosło moje oczekiwania.     I had pretty good time with this one. Good graphics, no technical issues for me. Some what interesting world, and creative mechanics that add it's own flair. Not gonna go too in depth but it's free so of course I recommend it. It just didn't hold me in its world for as long as I was hoping.     I just can't recommend this game to anyone. The developer has gutted the drops, gutted the crafting materials, and ignored the community. It just isn't fun anymore. Nobody wants to run 500 maps to lose materials on a single craft. The decision making is pathetic.

Path of Exile is a game for people who like to play only Path of Exile. When I take extended breaks, I find coming back more and more difficult. The new mechanics, passive tree additions, crafting systems, end game progression, and skill balances are just too much for me to keep up with anymore. The game is too complex for me to casually enjoy, and its getting harder to go back all the time.
    The complexity of Path of Exile is one of its greatest strengths, but unfortunately, it has left this casual behind in the dust. I can no longer recommend this game with the caveat that hardcore, dedicated gamers can find a lot to love here if they have the desire to stick with it and really dig deep.    … Expand

    So I have an account with a character named ChokinChris that I created in 2018 (it was just a random thing about Chris Brown that I read on social media at the time and just pops into my head while I was naming my character). I recently logged into that account after a few years hiatus, it was promptly locked just after stepping into town a few times, and I was requested to contact support, which I did. This is the reason they give me, and I quote, "This account has been locked for making character names which reference physical violence towards a Grinding Gear Games staff member.".
    Needless to say I was completely caught off guard by that, because I had no idea who or what they were talking about. I had to take to Google to find out that 'Chris' just happens to be the name of GGG's boss man.
    While this definitely raises concerns over GGG's overzealous moderation of the game, it wasn't what 'grinded my gears'. The worst thing came after, as I explained to them multiple times that it wasn't geared toward any GGG staffs, as I don't even know the name of a single person that works there, they completely dismiss my explanation and insist that I must apologize for my actions and promise never to do it again, only in doing say that they may, and I quote again, "consider reduce this to a warning". Yes, you read that right, not only did GGG decide to lock my account for a completely arbitrary reason that they came up with themselves, refuse to apologize for it, and insist on coercing a free player into admitting they're wrong. These GGG staff members are far too deep in their fan clubs that they think every single player worship them as gods. Too bad for them, a level 24 character with a bunch of leveling gears is hardly something worth rolling over for. So now, instead of a player, they gain an evangelist with a dedicated mission to spread the words about their god complex on as many platforms as possible.

Instead of enjoying new content, you have to rebuild all your characters and relearn basic mechanics to even be able to play the game. It's very tiresome.     + Very complex skill system with endless build possibilities.
    + Fluid combat and good controls.
    + Brings back the Diablo 2 atmosphere and gameplay.
    + Ladder system and fun challenges.
    + Good content updates.
    + Some super nice mini games.
    + Free to play, but not pay to win.
    + Great community.

    BAD

    - Game mechanics are not explained very well.
    - The skill tree is often changed and reset. I don't wanna spend so much time thinking of a new build and re-allocating all the skills after every patch, on all my characters. The skill system is too complex for that. Suggestion: Mark the skills the player had before the reset to make it easier.
    - The UI is still bad after all these years. Quests take up half the screen and can only be disabled for all characters etc. The chat has also never been improved.
    - The endgame mapping Atlas system is too complex and too much effort goes into map and watchstone management.
    - Many unfair boss mechanics. Too many invulnerability phases that are not obvious at all, so you never know when you can do damage and when you can't. Too much instant kill crap even when you build your char kinda tanky.
    - Needs endgame content that is entirely unrelated to maps.

    - "Microtransactions" are way too expensive. 15$ for a skin or stash tab is mental and getting just the essentials that you need to enjoy the game will actually cost you more than a full price game.

    VERY BAD

    -- The camera is far too close. Especially when in a party and in boss fights it really hinders the gameplay.
    -- Only the host makes progress from mapping mechanics. I can't even begin to get my head around how deeply stupid this is.
    -- Way too many effects on screen, especially in parties. It's difficult to see what's actually going on under all the loot (even with filter) and explosions.
    -- Bad optimization. FPS drop considerably when there are many effects on screen, even with high end hardware.
    -- Lag issues when playing in a party. Anything above 100 ping is pretty much unplayable due to rubberbanding in this game.
    -- Trading is an important part of the game and it really needs an ingame auction house or something like that. Trading through websites and manually texting people is extremely tedious.

    -- They are clearly creating collectors items with the intention of selling more overpriced stash tabs. The gameplay is suffering from all the collection crap. It's too much.

    = VERDICT =

    Path of Exile is a good ARPG. If you like planning crazy builds, theory crafting, and you want a single player game with a trade function that requires a high time investment to progress beyond a certain point, PoE is for you.

    If you are a social person who likes to play in parties or you want to enjoy a game even when you don't play that often, PoE is not for you.

    Playing in a party is strongly discouraged, both for technical and gameplay reasons - and that's sad, because the community in this game is great and more co-op play would go a long way.

    The endgame needs too much planning to be enjoyable for casual play. ARPGs should be games that you can play daily even when you only have half an hour, but that will get you absolutely nowhere in PoE, because you'll spend most of that time finding the right map to play to be able to progress, moving around watchstones etc.

    Personally, I'm absolutely torn apart. I really enjoy the character building aspects in PoE and most of the gameplay, but I don't like how much the game is focussed on playing alone. 8/10 despite all this criticism should tell you how good the rest of game is though and if it got only some of the other stuff right, it would be out of reach for any other game in the genre.    … Expand

Combined with quickly diminishing experience gain you end up with very long and tedious experience farming just to erase all day work with a few quick deaths. You have to play slow and be very careful, which is not fun. Or you must find a party and grind the same Beachhead Harbinger Map over and over again, which gets boring.

    As soon you get to love this game because of all the intricacies, the whole experience is ruined by poorly balanced experience dynamics.

    Developers should at least halve the death penalty or considerably increase experience gain. I thought the idea of the game is experiment with more builds, so there is no problem making dynamics to reach level 100 a bit easier.    … Expand

    The PoE community is very vocal and passionate about the game and the changes they want, but is almost always ignored. The developers seem to view them with contempt and even going so far as to mock them.

    The player base and viewers has declined over the years with each new update adding more tedium and $40-$60 armour skins and pets while the game play and content suffers.
    For the price of one cape or pair of gloves, you could purchase a fully finished game that respects your time.
    Needless to say, Path of Exile's glory days are long gone and is a shadow of it's former self, intent on milking the player base for all the money it can before the dwindling player base leaves.    … Expand

    I played this game for many years back between 2013- 2017. Then on and off again since. I can now say I have left this game behind for good.

    It is soo frustrating to love a game but see it take a different road (and not knowing what could have been). Grinding gear games design philosophy eventually pushed me away.     I was willing to forgive many of the mechanics of the game if ggg had solved the issue of trade.

    The problem with trade.
    If you want to create a unique build with specific equipment its impossible. Even at the beginning of a new league its impossible.

    a: There are never enough traders and the stuff that is for sale is usually either meta picks or they are stupidly overpowered. Well that turns me off! Because I want to build something I want to build!
    Not whats in the meta.

    But? I cant because finding a specific item? Its impossibe. Nobody sells any items that arent worth there time or valuable at all. Which highlights existential problem with trade: it reinforces only the most valuable items because the current trade regime is in effect a chore and a inconvenience.

    The only remedies to this existential problem ggg has laid to rest and said they are not on board. (No special leagues with improved drop rates ) or a in game trade house.

    Besides trade there are a couple other notable mentions that turned me away from this
    game.

    When ggg got owned by Tencent that was a game changer. And as an american its a security risk.
    Its also no longer a indie developer anymore. But truthfully as one who played before the acquisition and after Path of Exile changed. it was a different game when ggg was a indie company.

    Lastly, maybe the most foreshadowing of all. I grew tired of Path of exiles Free to play business model. I dont care what anybody says you want stuff for free? well there are consequences.

    And you see those consequences all through Path of exile. I see a game starving for integrity all through its mechanics. I see a game that relies on addictive mechanics and special effects.

    And all these reviews on Poe are fake, straight up fake. Dont trust the gaming media and community its all fake. The streamers are in denial because there source of livelihood depends on the game.

    Path of Exile is one of the best of this genre. PoE has a huge amount of upgrades and customization and it worth of spending your time for interesting adventure. The game is fun and, for the most part, well designed but in-game trading is necessary.

    Maps have levels from 66 78. Anything worth farming and crafting (crafting is based on gamble too) starting from lvl 71 maps which will be    Path of Exile is one of the best of this genre. The game is fun and, for the most part, well designed but in-game trading is necessary.

Anything worth farming and crafting (crafting is based on gamble too) starting from lvl 71 maps which will be unreachable to most of players since maps drop rate will decrease dramatically (drop rates lowered in background without any note to player) with each subsequent level of maps and will form a very high wall at level 71 maps. To counter that you will need insane amount of currency which can be acquired only through farming or trading. Since most items worth selling or using hidden behind lvl71 maps you will find yourself in process of very unrewarding farming.

    POE has "old school" (read outdated) leveling system. You will need to repeat process of leveling for every build you want to make. And since you will fail your fist build for sure, you will have to repeat this process over and over again while you learn this game. Follow the tip: go to the forum, find yourself a build and just follow. This will help to avoid much of frustration when things will not work as you was expecting. If you want boost your personage fast you may use some of game currency shops (link omitted per site policy)

    So as result I think Path of Exile is greatest ARPG ever created and its finally being released the 23 of October. If you like playing an ARPG with endless character customization. Endless build diversity endless skill diversity and a passive skill tree that makes me have a nerdgasme then this is for you. This is truly a game made by gamers for gamers.    … Expand

    Would have given 10/10 easily a few months ago. Great depth, tons of content, overall committed developer. However more recently the devs have let long term issues like performance, quality of life, and trading build up. They also has a vision to make a game that's very much a hardcore grind and not casual friendly.

    Play this if you want:
    1) peer-to-peer trade in many steps and other resources (u need to go to website, find some1, pm him, w8 for an answer, give him party, tp to him, /trade, check for not being skammed    This game didnt die.     2) the worst optimization ever - this game laggs on any med-high computer with 2 or more mechanics on 1 map
    3) The worst balance ever - useless flasks, stupidly buffed some types of mobs, unplayable melee builds, useless self-casting builds (any build with totems or mines with the same ability is better in 100/100
    4) U like, when game will upgrade unpredictivly, developers may realize new skin for 10$ for your favorite skill and in next patch this skill will be killed by them with no chances to play. Always work with Celestial skin realise.

    I've always loved games like diablo. And compared to diablo path of exile offers a much deeper character progression, items, that impact the gameplay far more, better designed bosses.
    All in all path of exile is a great game - without any payment needed (which these days is not that common for a free to play game).

    Edit: The most recent balance patch completely ruined the game. The devs stated, they wanted to reduce the damage dealt by around 20% - what in of itself already seemed horrible. In reality the damage got nerfed around 60-80%. After calculating and testing ingame, I went ahead and uninstalled the game. Its no fun anymore. Went from a 10/10 to a 1/10.     My favorite game so far. Even when leag start is lags and kick. Even on God tier pc it just not loading textures. It got something in it,that puts me on this game for hours and hours of grind. Grinding gear games did something special and gave it to us for free. New content every 3 months. Just give it a try. It's overwhelming but when u get it after 200hours you can just make fun of it.My favorite game so far. Even when leag start is lags and kick. Even on God tier pc it just not loading textures.     A single player game that forces to you play the game online, with latency. Why? so they can sell you item stashes and cosmetics. Diablo 3 requires internet connection as well but at least you get everything if you pay 60$.
    The game deserves 0 because there is no game to be played without internet. If I wanted to play multiplayer I would play multiplayer games.     + decent endgame
    + currency system is innovative and pretty great in theory
    + there's plenty of distinct ways for people to play the game (trader, aura bot, party, solo, SFF, mapper, farmer, bosser, delver, ...)
    - graphics are kinda meh
    - currency system can get frustrating and annoying and kinda feeds back on the paid elements of the game
    - not really F2P even though it's marketed as such (you will more or less need TAB'S etc.)
    - new content gets abandoned in the next league and therefore lacks polish
    - Trading is horrible go play SSF
    - SSF is the way to play but sadly restrics build diversity and requires way more hours then trade leagues
    - ALWAYS ONLINE / wants to be an MMO pretty badly
    - build diversity is rather low and depends on patch, if you wanna clear the game without no lifeing
    - developer went from great indie pal to big corpo with all the pro's and con's
    - pretty annoying developer defender fanbase

    There's a great game hidden beneath all the always online / F2P market filth. In an alternate universe this could be the best ARPG of all time, but the way it is now i cant rank it higher then classics such as Titan Quest, Diablo 2 etc.    … Expand

    I think Path of Exile is a successful game in many ways but if you are going as a new player you must understand you will going into google for many times. Because game is not teaching and it is a bit complicated. It's currency is different; some type of items which you get it from creatures. There are no skills usual there is a gem system. Map designs are cool for a free to play game.     Gostei mais que diablo 3.PoE é um excelente RPG muito complexo e cheio de opções pra fazer sua build.Sempre recebendo novas atualizações e novo conteúdo,Com quase 200 horas posso dizer q sei quase o necessário,ainda tenho muito a aprender sobre quais itens são realmente valiosos,gemas e etc,pois o jogo é muito complexo.

    Hack & slash games are addictive because they follow a simple formula: kill, kill and kill some more. Path of Exile is no different in this regard. During your quest in the perilous continent of Wraeclast you need to slay thousands and thousands of monsters but it never gets boring because there are a plenty of fresh ideas like the very vast skill system and barter-based economy that differentiate it from other similar games. But it's not a perfect game. The story is weak and the difficulty level is too low in the beginning. [Dec 2013]
