    This patch forces you to play tank in order to not die all the time, you can even get killed by a pack of skeletons now. Many fun builds have been made unplayable. It's starting to be a D3 clone with the developers forcing players to play viable builds. Map drops have been nerfed. It's "Endlessly Farm Currency 2 Level" now and chances are it's a huge waste of currency because someThis patch forces you to play tank in order to not die all the time, you can even get killed by a pack of skeletons now. It's "Endlessly Farm Currency 2 Level" now and chances are it's a huge waste of currency because some exaggerated pack one shots you despite having 5k HP. Divination Cards are a waste of stash space and most of them are trash. Grinding through story takes A LOT more time than before and having done the story many times already this just gets boring and frustrating. Act 4 is way too long, Malachai is unfair. Recreating instances for things like Corrupted Farming / Dom etc. is a pain now that you have to scroll from the top to the bottom all the time. Not even the Loot Filter can make up for this huge pile of garbage. I'll quit for now, back to Diablo 3 (FYI I would have preferred PoE over D3 anytime, but this patch just made Diablo 3 the better game). See you when the next patch hits.… Expand

    The Awakening is a welcome and wild addition, giving Path of Exile just what it needs to stay interesting. With the additions in this expansion and other content updates since launch, there’s enough variety and alternate advancement to keep even the most voracious of loot grinders and build optimizers coming back for more.
