Not recommend...unless you enjoy frustration. I will give examples of some of the more frustrating aspects. Enemy units are unknown until recon and intelligence is gained on the unit. Units with out full intelligence report receive significantly less damage. Recon is costly and only temporary, next round you will lose nearly all intelligence you worked to acquire

I will give examples of some of the more frustrating aspects.

Enemy units are unknown until recon and intelligence is gained on the unit. Units with out full intelligence report receive significantly less damage. Recon is costly and only temporary, next round you will lose nearly all intelligence you worked to acquire the previous round. Enemy units appear to have full intelligence on all your troops at all times.

Attacks on enemy units nearly never run as projected. My 12 strength bomber was attacking a 8 British ship predicted outcome 0 damage to my unit 6 to enemy ...outcome my plane takes 3 damage enemy ship takes 1. My 12 strength fighter attacking a weakened 2 enemy fighter though supposed to take no damage was reduced to 10. to test next time this came up I saved the game and went though multiple loads tying to come put as predicted, with no losses, but I never happened, best I could get was receiving 1 damage.

Enemy ships way overpowered, enemy battleship hit by several of my naval units ( and never taking the predicted damage ), as well as air support, supposedly took damage to it's main and auxiliary guns, but yet next turn, though at a strength of 1 it still has full attack capabilities.

In Operation Sealion , ( yes, though I told myself several times I should just stop playing, I still continued to that point) I performed reconnaissance and attacked enemy ships found there with my naval and all available air units in the seas surrounding England, to protect my ground forces from all being sunk in 1-2 rounds by the overpowered and plentiful enemy navy. Once it appeared I had nearly cleared the seas, and could begin shipping my ground forces, on the enemy's turn entirely new enemy naval units (not sure, but I think they may have been the same ones I had previously eliminated) suddenly spawned from both sides of the board and decimated my navy.... and no it was not that I had just not noticed those units I had ships there that should have noticed them if they were. These were entirely new units that spawned out of nowhere!
