It didn’t take long to see it though and it worked well for it. You will join school clubs, befriend different characters and buff up your stats to face down the school bully. There is even a plot twist thrown in for good measure. I normally don’t go for such light hearted games but PANIC had a charm to it I couldn’t ignore. I only really cared to interact with two of it’s characters but luckily that is the amount you need to so it worked out just fine.
I played PANIC on Linux. It never crashed on me once and allows for manual saving with plenty of save slots. I didn’t notice any spelling errors. I beat the game in 2 hours and 13 minutes.
I enjoyed the game. The plot twist didn’t really fit well and there were only a few characters I cared for but the humor was good and it was enjoyable. I would recommend the game and say people should at least give the demo a go. I paid $5.49 CAD for it and felt it was worth the money.
