    It's an insult (especially in the age of Overwatch 2) to call this game a clone, especially if you're aware of the development cycle and timeline of both games. But I do feel that I have to mention that first, due to the image the game has and how much that oversimplification has harmed the game's reputation.

    This game honestly feels infinitely more balanced than OW foundationally.     This game honestly feels infinitely more balanced than OW foundationally. OW forces you to play certain team comps, on certain maps, with each character usually having a single viable playstyle with little room to budge. Paladins offers tons of playstyles for each character through options like talents, in-game store abilities (think MOBAs, not actual cash stores), and even a loadout system using deckbuilding to sway your characters skills to your playstyle, optimizing exactly how you play.

    Overwatch is such a frustrating experience because of how thin its meta is and how you're forced into certain playstyles and comps. If you don't follow them, you're going to get steamrolled. If you play support or tank and don't have reliable teammates, you're going to get steamrolled since you can't manage enough to defend yourself. Paladins gives you the option to play your role and hold your own when you need.

    This game is not an Overwatch clone, it is better. You have options, you're not limited in how you can play characters, and while you probably aren't going to win without solid teamwork, you can at least have more freedom to sway the game in your direction and keep yourself alive by fighting back.

    Also horses so it doesn't take 7 years to get to the objective, Zenyatta could certainly use one lmao    … Expand

    the game was good in 2018 , but now it has a few people playing it or the matchmaking is bad so itcan take time to load in a game, but it is still a good game.

Features such as Payload, Death Camera and Play of the Game    I've been playing this game on and off since 2016 and it's a good game, similar to Overwatch and Team Fortress 2 but different with it's own style.

    Unfortunately as time has passed the game has gotten worse and worse with each year. The focus of the developers transfered from making an exciting bug-free game to a money grab. Features such as Payload, Death Camera and Play of the Game were removed from the game "because of too many bugs" because the developers were too lazy to fix them.

    Instead they put all their time and effort into making battlepasses, new champions and most important.. skins... all the time...
    Another thing I dislike about modern day Paladins and the new champions in particular is lack in creativity when creating them. It's just a bunch stereotypes nowadays and fan service, not to mention a bunch of transgender LGBTQ bullsh1t.

    But what irritates me the most about the modern day Paladins (since like 2019 probably) is how hard and unfriendly they've made the game for new players. It's pay 2 win in literal sense of the word... back in the day the price of heroes was 3-4x cheaper than it is nowadays but also the money which you win from matches nowadays is 2-3x less than it used to be before.. oh and also you could win diamonds from matches before. The progression system also has gotten much worse.. back in the day you used to win chests when leveling up your heroes or your profile which felt rewarding to play the game... but now it's gone, real life money needed.

    Overall the game is still enjoyable nowadays if you are either willing to pay a lot of money for buying new champions or you have an old account with a lot of champions already unlocked.    … Expand

    This game is really fun, and definitely worth your time! No character feels like another, all bring something to the table, and will benefit you differently based on how each player likes to play. The microtransactions are for skins only, as you can purchase every character without spending any real world money.     This game used to be good and it was made with FUN in mind. But then company had to make bad hires and slowly they sturted pumping out predictable politics. Not as bas as another game by this publisher (already dead) Rogue Squadron, but still.

    Update: Im dropping my original score from an 8 to a 5. After significant time playing, the game has really taken steps back. Its basically because the player base has dwindled to badly due to poor matchmaking, bugs based on the games spagetti code that the programmers obviously have no clue how to manage, and over priced skins. Paladins is just a toxic community, where kids have more fun trying to report you just because the team lost, then to actually play and try to win.     Recently installed Paladins after abandoning Overwatch after 2 years of hundreds of hours of gameplay. Paladins at first looks lackluster, literally, compared to the bright cartoon-like graphics of Overwatch. Although, this is the ONLY aspect of Overwatch I feel is better than Paladins. Paladins has more heroes to pick from, and has a very unique system of using abilitiy boosting cards in each match, along with skills you can pick for each mach. This makes EVERY match unique and different from the next. See, in Overwatch, a particular hero is going to play exactly the same in each match. The only difference is the abilities of the player playing the hero. In Paladins, depending on what ability cards, and skill cards you choose to use, your hero will play very differently from game to game. I find this so refreshing. Overwatch developed many problems over the 2 years I played it, and Blizzard only made those worse. Paladins beats Overwatch in the most important aspect of the game.......Gameplay. Graphics do not mean anything if the gameplay is awful. This is why Paladins to me is a better product than Overwatch can ever hope to be.    … Expand

    The game looks good , at first glance. It looks like it has variety through the heroes with the card(spec trees) etc and you can actually get all the heroes or almost just by farming the game, you do not actually have to pay to win.
    On the good side, the game has some nice ideas, the mount system is fun, the rounds are not long nor short(sometimes). The graphics are Ok-ish at best.(well,    The game looks good , at first glance.     The bad things : Server HUGE lags, game stuck at loading screens, people stuck in spawn not being able to move.

    Even worse things for a shooter : the hitboxes are ridiculous ,huge and misleading on many heroes.
    Whole movement seems clunky and not solid at all, there is some slight input lag , it feels like its in the game.
    It could be very good , but it needs money.
    OW 2 is copying a lot of things from this, but better, because of the obvious budget differences.    … Expand

    Es un buen juego, muy entretenido, ideal para cuando llegas del trabajo o de la universidad candado y buscas algo para despejar tu mente, partidas no muy largas, intensas y con variedades de campeones, talentos, barajas e ítems que hacen jugarlos de manera diferente, tiene sus errores, no es perfecto pero es mi juego favorito.

    I've been playing this game since early Closed Beta.
    Nothing has changed since the, it's still filled with bugs, bad balancing.

    This used to be an exciting game, now it just feels like a major cash grab. Skins everywhere.

    I can't recommend this in 2021

The fact that if the software glitches, and kicks you from a loading game where you then have to wait for eight, **** minutes. This is the absolute worst and needs to be patched before people’s cool downs begin to get insane. (It doubles every time.) this same glitch has also happened mid game.     What a waste of a perfectly functional game. Hi-Rez and their demented decision making have run this game into the **** ground when it could've been awesome. Refusal to fix the bugs, all effort on skins and useless balance changed with zero transparency. Why have you done this, Hi-Rez?

    Bueno, por donde empezar...antes que nada me gustaría decir que soy un jugador veterano de Paladins, llevo jugando al juego desde 2017 y considero que a diferencia de muchos otros usuarios tengo la experiencia suficiente para poder tanto criticar los puntos malos del juego, como elogiar los buenos. Voy a comenzar primero por los buenos:
    1- Amplias posibilidades de personalización y    Bueno, por donde empezar...antes que nada me gustaría decir que soy un jugador veterano de Paladins, llevo jugando al juego desde 2017 y considero que a diferencia de muchos otros usuarios tengo la experiencia suficiente para poder tanto criticar los puntos malos del juego, como elogiar los buenos. Voy a comenzar primero por los buenos:
    1- Amplias posibilidades de personalización y variadas formas de juego con cada campeón. Era de esperarse tener que mencionar esto, a diferencia de otros shooters Paladins permite una gran personalización no solo de la apariencia del personaje, sino también de su estilo de juego, contando con talentos y cartas que afectan habilidades y características del personaje dentro de la partida.
    2- Curva de dificultad algo empinada pero digerible ¿a qué me refiero con esto? Para aprender mecánicas básicas y las habilidades de cada campeón no requiere de muchas partidas, pero eso sí, dominar al campeón al 100% requerirá de mucho más esfuerzo y trabajo duro, lo cual a mi parecer lo hace lucir desafiante pero entretenido en la práctica, además de recompensar (en la mayoría de campeones) al jugador con una skin dorada del personaje un vez alcanzado el nivel 50 de experiencia con dicho campeón, lo cual puede servir como incentivo a los jugadores.
    3- Es free to play. Con esto me refiero a que el juego desde el principio podría haber sido de paga, pero no lo fue, esto abrió la puertas a un público más extenso y dio oportunidades desde el comienzo.
    4- Actualizaciones constantes. Vamos a ser realistas, en lo personal no requiero de 40 actualizaciones mensuales como las que llegan a tener Fortnite o LoL, los cuales se actualizan cada 2 segundos, no creo que empresas menores como Hi-Rez u otras pudieran permitirse un ritmo de actualizaciones tan constante, pero eso sí, al menos yo estoy contento de recibir una actualización cada mes o mes y medio, ya que aunque se tarden estas traen grandes cantidades de contenido y lore al juego, y eso entretiene la espera.
    4- No es pay to win. En este punto hable desde mi propia experiencia, yo logré desbloquear todos los campeones en pocos meses de juego y además en solo 4 meses de ahorro de cristales me dio la oportunidad de comprarme el pase de batalla, esta parte en especial del juego me gusta, ya que recompensa la constancia y habilidad, si juegas ganarás oro y cristales, si juegas bien ganarás aún más oro y obtendrás cristales más rápido.

    Bueno, supongo que ya es tiempo de ir con los puntos malos:
    1- Sistema anti-trampas y sistema de reportes casi ineficientes. La cantidad de hackers no es tan exagerada como en otros shooters, peor siento que Hi-Rez no aprovecha esto mismo, ya que es una buena oportunidad para pulir el sistema anti-trampas, porque de no ser así los servidores podrían inundarse de hackers.
    2- Bugs múltiples. Si es cierto que en los últimos meses Hi-Rez ha parchado una buena cantidad de bugs, pero con cada nuevo que sale viene acompañado de sus buenos bugs y errores. En el mapa de Frog Island por ejemplo Kinessa puede aprovecharse de un error que le permite posicionarse en un spot desde el cual posee vista de gran parte del mapa y además es casi infranqueable; cabe mencionar también que en PlayStation 4 se pueden experimentar ciertos congelaciones y cierres repentinos del juego.
    3- Sistema de ranked competitivo obsoleto. Hemos tenido el mismo sistema de emparejamiento en partidas competitivas durante casi 3 años, y durante ese tiempo la parte competitiva de la comunidad ha logrado ver los errores e injusticias que se experimentan en algunas partidas, como por ejemplo que los roles de tanque y soporte se ven desfavorecidos en cuanto al posicionamiento que los jugadores reciben si se ven obligados a jugar estos roles en ranked, es decir, si juegas solo daño y flanco es más probable que llegues a rangos más altos. Después tenemos que hay una cantidad considerable de trolls ya sea el rango que sea.

    Bueno, creo que ese es el final de mi reseña, he tratado de hacerla de la forma más objetiva posible y viendo tanto puntos buenos como malos.    … Expand

    From what I've played this game is really fun and really underrated. I haven't encountered any problems with cheaters, the game is very balanced, each character/class is fun to play. I wish there was a few more game modes, but as it stands currently this game is worth a try, especially because it's free. I haven't played Overwatch, so I can't really make any comparisons there.     This game helped me a lot with my sorrow due to death of my grandmother because of covid-19 disease...I lived with her all my childhood. And now I'm 27, and I can't forget that memories. I'm really grateful that I can distract a little.

    Hey guarda Overwatch ha avuto successo! Copiamolo, cambiamo qualche meccanica e rendiamolo gratuito infestato da skin e stronzate. Ottimo per spendere soldi, pessimo per giocare.

Overwatch right now is in it's best shape since 2017, the roster is balanced, little bugs, matchmaking in Comp is nice and the best one is that Blizzard cares for it very much, they listen to the player's feedback, they always try their best with balancing now and try to not make power creeps like before, although the anti cheat system is a bit crap. Meanwhile Hi-Rez is using Paladins as a cash grab game. They never cared for the game, they never fix any game breaking bugs, their balancing is absolute garbage, they only focuses on making cosmetics and female champions for looks, and worst of all is that the players still sucks the Devs's dicks and won't stop! I mean being loyal is fine, but the Developers are literally sucking the money out of the players like mosquitos sucks blood from humans. i- i- i just can't. I quit back in 2018 but came back and nothing changed. the way Hi-Rez fixes the game is the same as putting a band-aid on a broken arm and they still get money from the players. just buy Overwatch, like seriously just do it.… Expand

    A very fun and good game. This game is having monetization, of course, but you can play it without any donation. Paladins is balanced, and you can obtain all characters and the starter ones are pretty good. I liked game's visuals and gameplay. Sometimes it's better than Overwatch.

    Free-to-Play done right !

    Good graphics, good universe : a melt of fantasy and sci-fi is a nice touch.
    Wonderful soundtrack.

    Many heroes to play, even free players can unlock the characters they want really fast.

    Not pay-to-win mechanics :
    You can buy cosmetics for your favorite character,
    but you can't buy victory !

    A pleasure to play at a low cost !

I really like the Gameplay and Graphic style. Well, there are some bugs and stuff, but they're not really annoying.     very good game if you like heros shooters and adds more dynamics which makes it more interesting and competitive, fun to play with friends and solo, excellent community and very creative characters

    Gameplay section

    Paladins is a competitive team-based shooter game. It is nothing like Halo, Fortnite or Valorant because it's a game that works in many ways. There is a selection of game modes to play in. One is a team deathmatch mode and there's also an onslaught mode and a Seige mode team. Deathmatch is focused on eliminating other players and the first team to 40 eliminations wins.
    in the onslaught mode,
    There is a zone that your team has to stand in. The longer you stand in the zone, the more points you get. The first team to 400 wins. Finally, the way siege mode works is this -at first there is a zone, the same as onslaught, but once you capture the zone with 50 points then it spawns a cart with fireworks in it and a zone around it you have to push the payload to the oppositions' frontline base area.
    The first team to get 4 points wins the match. You can choose a champion and there are different heroes to choose from. Each hero has a class, either support frontline, flank or damage.
    Support are pretty much medics that can deal damage and heal. Your team frontline is a champion with a load of armour and health, so will take a lot of damage, but can do a fair bit of damage too. The flank class is kind of a stealthy assassin so you will have to learn teamwork skills to win.
    A champion that is in damage class is quite vulnerable, but packs a punch on foot can eliminate a frontline fast. To succeed in this great game you will have to have teamwork skills, otherwise your team is useless. The controls are easy to pick up and play straight away!
    Ranked Seige mode is competitive, fast and frantic you get placed in a league - first Qualifying, then Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond and finally Grandmaster.
    It automatically grades you in a league and the ratio of how many matches you win and how many you lose.

    One of the champions Evie says in a voice pack "Give them hell" and Ash, a frontline champion, says "I'm leading this vanguard. So if any of you F***ers have anything to say, now is the time." fortunately Ashes swear is bleeped you can just hear the letter f come out of her mouth so you can tell it's explicit and there is a voice chat that doesn't
    work if your account is set under 15 years of age ,so it's locked.

    In conclusion, I think this game shows great teamwork, medium violence and great fast gameplay, so I would recommend an age of something around 8 or lower. Therefore, I reckon that it shows great teamwork and positive messages. The language is easy to handle because if you don't play the game with volume when you are playing as the hero Ash -then it is fine!!

    its a good game. really good to play with friends. even tho it lacks some quality and polish that other games in the same genre have, and those are free too, still i enjoyed all the hours i invested but its not a solid recommendation.

    This could be a greater experience, but Evil Mojo just needs to be more competent, polish the game, balance the champions and put more effort into it. Otherwise, it is very entertaining.

This game is a lousy piece of **** that will make you pull the hairs out your head. Lastly, I just got banned for 3 days and I literally have no understanding as to why. I try to be kind to players and I play very well and then this happens. IM SO DONE!

    One day ago this game was a perfect rating for me. This newest update ruined the entire game and I do not recommend getting the game right now if you haven't yet. Wait for them to fix it or just don't get it at all.

    As a free to play game Paladins is good fun and you do not need a powerful pc to run it at a stable framerate BUT yes I am going to say it Overwatch is more fun and has a more iconic diverse of heroes to which Paladins feels its playing catch up with BUT Overwatch is a full price game and Paladins is not its free to its hard to compare.

    Раньше игра была на уровне Дешевой сетевой игре, а сей час и графон и дизайн и возможности и даже баланс хоть какой-то завезли, и я очень благодарен, 7.6 балов тоже очень рады за себя)

I have spent 2.5 years in this game, with the hope it will be changed somehow, but it is dying and developers don't care at all.

    Paladins is a very good game however the big problem with the game is the developers. they are very money driven, to the point were they would release the game even though it still had tons of bugs, just so they could put on the switch. the game is also very buggy and the developers usually will try and make more money then fix them.

    + You start a game by selecting a legendary card (out of 3 for each hero) and a hand of cards (out of 20 cards for each champ). They change stats, behavior of your weapon or the functionality of some moves. They allow for varied playstyles and flexibility.
    + Good hero roster with many original concepts (and a few less original...) for a total of 40 heroes, most of which having 2 to 4 alts
    + Alts have all of their voice lines rewritten and voiced by a new voice actor!

    0 ok BGM, nothing too fancy and the handful of tracks running in repeat will get old quickly
    0 Too few game modes. One payload mode and two variations of death match.
    0 Seems they have run out of ideas for heroes, sadly. The last 3 released have been:
    1/ an angel with a gunsword (she cannot fly and the gunsword can't be used as a sword, go figure)
    2/ a Kakashi Hatake clone with an attitude, unbalanced
    3/ a pirate with a grenade launcher, braindead gameplay

    -- Bad --
    - Broken to the point of making the likes of FallOut 76 look like marvels of engineering. The reason why so few people make fun of Paladins compared to FO76 is probably its low visibility.
    - Every single sub-system of this game has MANY BUGS, many of which are game breaking and a lot of them having been present for several months
    - Too little content after so many years. Worse, they took the decision to remove one of the modes last year (payload) for no reason, reducing the amount of content even further.
    - Catastrophic hit detection. Absolutely unacceptable for a shooter.
    - The last map, added several weeks ago, still has multiple collision issues, broken textures, poor lighting in places...
    - Relatively frequent crashes on all platforms, they also reset your keybindings every time if you manage to restart in time to join your game
    - After so many years, you would expect the bots (which replace players AFK or dropped) to at least be able to leave spawn and shoot in the direction of the enemy. Sadly it is not the case, 90% of the time, bots will just get stuck in door frames or run in circle... Wish this was a joke...
    - The economics of the game have changed at least 3 times over the last few years and are still broken. All players have ridiculous amounts of gold and there are no gold sinks. To "fix" this, devs have added the possibility to PURCHASE LEVELS with gold. Now levels mean nothing, great idea, guys!
    - Matchmaking has been catastrophic for most of the game's existence and players have been complaining about it. What did the devs do? They removed the colored frame that indicates your team mates rank, so you can't tell any more if the MM is bad or not. Classy.
    - No more bans for bad behavior? If a user is punished after you reported him, you get a notification. But for the last few months, it seems not even death threats can get you ban...

    A quick selection of bugs, just to give you an idea how broken this game is. At this point, this is shameful. Evil Mojo do NOT give a duck about their game and this needs to be remember. To be fair, I'm only listing bugs that happen frequently and have been present for SEVERAL MONTHS at this point:
    - broken BGM, SFX (including footsteps and some attacks), voiceFX (triggering for no reason, randomly quieter or louder, etc...)
    - broken "grab" moves either don't grab the opponent or on rare occasions send them flying indefinitely
    - broken GUI (score not updating...) and menus
    - broken ragdoll and random flying corpses
    - broken death cam, team cam, "play of the game" cam, snipers' scope cam
    - random MM glitches, disconnects and crashes that will give you a 30 min ban
    - IG lag indicator always gives a ping of 15, no matter what.
    - keybindings reset after every crash
    - some moves have out of sync SFX, VFX and actual effect. Making it unfairly hard to fight, as some moves lack any feedback audio or visual.
    - 2 heroes keep shouting the same line for no reason
    - a visual "link" appearing between two players of opposing team, making it possible to see where the other player is anywhere on the map
    - 2 of the tanks currently plagued by multiple bugs making them basically unplayable (picking them is not far from losing on purpose). It was confirmed they will not be fixed in next update    … Expand

But anyways, the game is still fun and just has a certain feel to it that makes it stand out, but all good things aside I just feel like this game is kinda stealing ideas...okay it is 100% stealing ideas and personally I think this mightPersonally i think Paladins of being one of the best shooters!     First things first, I do like that the game is free to play but allows (or allowed?) to purchase the current heroes and future ones and that's how I kept coming back essentially: new heroes got released and I gave it a look, maybe trying the new heroes and probably move on: I went with the pack and I'm glad I did because I get always new heroes for free now...but at what cost now.

    I want to be straightforward: i don't like the lootboxes idea in this game, which is probably even worse than OW.

    In OW you can buy lootboxes for your costumes BUT you also got the possibility to buy them with coins: it's expensive but it's there, and you got your skin, done.

    In Paladins it's a mixed bag: you can buy skins with crystals but ONLY some costumes, but the rest are in lootboxes. For instance I want to buy one of Seris skins? well time to spend cash on the specific lootbox...yes I said specific, because there are multiple lootboxes to choose from, each giving specific skins of specific type.

    Suuuure, you can buy specific skins too, but if you want to buy some specific ones you have to buy them when on a limited sale or else...well they might return later on but by that time you wouldn't care much. Seriously why such a big deal?! This literally killed my mood because I did like some of these skins, I wanted to buy them, but I didn't care enough to gamble at the lootbox! Sure you also get some occasional bonus to unlock some older skins (like Archangel Tyra right now) but COME ON, I just want one skin or two and move on Jesus!

    And what about the battle pass? Because that's a thing now: PUBG did it, Fortnite did it, now also this game did it. I guess it's their way to remove the VIP system (when it had FOUR currencies to track off). Still it's about 13 euros (for me) per month and while you can do without a "sub", you essentially unlock "nothing" with it but few stupid sprays, boosts and additional gold - while if you sub you get emotes, skins, you name it.

    People complain about how OW is all about gambling and how lootboxes should be banned, but paladins does this and more and everyone is fine? OH BECAUSE IT'S FREE, OF COURSE THEN IT'S FINE...freaking hypocrites.

    In conclusion, this game is just a shell of its former glory - or what glory it could've been: it's not BAD, it's not pay to win or anything but it's clear they're too busy making skins and making us pay more money for stuff that feels just there for making us spend. I do care about skins but not to the point of spending more money than a sub.
    Leave that scammy practice to Final Fantasy 14 please.

    Give it a try and see for yourself, but I sincerely lost interest by now.

    PS: personal opinion, the heroes are uninspired, boring looking, and really don't fit with the world in my opinion...yes hi-rez changing your goblin mech into a wooden mech, or kinessa rifle into a lesser technological one STILL won't change the fact that those two don't fit (and what about freaking Moji? Pip? Willo? I swear they're so out of place, but that's just my opinion and it didn't affect the score))    … Expand

It’s rare that you’ll see two players using a certain hero the same way, and this makes the game less stale overtime than other similar offerings. Because of this, each and every game ends up playing differently, and this is exactly what I love about the game.

    The in game economy is based on cosmetic only loot boxes, which means that despite being free to play and not counting individual skill, no player will ever be stronger than another.

    The game receives updates, events and new heroes extremely frequently. Even though some bugs and glitches tend to stay longer than necessary at times, they rarely become game breaking or end up taking away from the enjoyment of the game.

    Paladins is a free to play title that simply doesn’t feel like one, and this balance is very difficult to achieve nowadays. A well crafted card system, colorful heroes and good shooting mechanics make this game a joy to play, allowing it to stand out among the crowd of otherwise stale titles offered by much more renowned names in the industry.    … Expand

    Paladins is a marvelous free-to-play hero shooter packed with fun mechanics and reasonable micro-transactions. Being developed and published by a not-so-big studio, it has its own ups and downs in the art, technical and business department. But hey, it's free-to-play, low spec, beginner friendly and not pay-to-win at all, what else are you asking for.

    Once you start you cant stop. This game is free and awesome. Graphics are decent. The system of cards is very interesting + you can make custom loadout!

    There are people in here telling you that the game is not pay to win. That is extremely misleading. You have to pay for individual "champions". You can use in-game currency but like other games with a similar formula, the currency is slow in coming. Don't fall for it. Just buy Overwatch. It's cheaper and you get 100% of the game.

After spending a lot of hard earned money on this game I wanted to show off my new content in training mode with fellow players in which we all face AI bots. I had a really good round I was having a blast but my Bluetooth Xbox One remote (The one I use for most the games I play on PC) started to die and usually when that happens while playing any game on my system it causes a memory leak or some kind of heavy glitch that takes down my FPS and crashes the game till my batteries are replaced. Long story short the game crashed after my controller died well I thought no biggie I'll just re-log like I do every time my controller crashes a game... well I re-log and come back to a big fat banned screen their anti-cheat had detected the glitch as a cheat and banned me right as it happened! I was not upset right off the bat however I was instantly concerned about my account and sent in a support ticket explaining what happened, after a few days they hit me back with some generic message almost auto like response explaining how I cheated and I was banned for breaking the rules. I was very frustrated at this point because they not only sent me a generic response but they also flat out ignored my concerns with what was going on. I thought okay I will try to find another way to contact them so I headed to the Paladins Reddit Discord server and contacted a few employees only to be told to send in another support ticket... I went ahead and filed another support ticket with Hi-Rez and got the same automated message saying I was banned for cheating. I continued to search for one last bit of hope so I had a private discussion with a Hi-Rez Steam Discussions admin, who had validated mine and others concerns with this games anti-cheat and told me to send in a support ticket. I sent in this final ticket explaining yet again what happened and got the same exact generic automated response. I never cheated. This is a honest review of my experience with Paladins and this company, This is also not a public ban appeal discussion I'm not trying to get un-banned anymore however I would suggest you switch to Steams anti-cheat system because others all over the web are expressing the same issues with "Easy Anti-Cheat".… Expand

    The newest knock-off game by Hirez. Now hero shooters are the new big thing and here's Hirez to capitalize on the hype by making another copy of a game already from the genre.

    What you expect to find is what you get. A mediocre copy from a mediocre studio. Hopefully they don't give up on smite, the only thing they have really going for them.

    Pros - Pleasant graphics, this game is very similar to Overwatch and it's pretty good.
    Cons - Balance (if you invest in the game, then you can get all the characters at once and for the victory, the awards are not very valuable.), Bugs.
    Very good game for their own $ 0.
    Hi-Rez laid out how they could, but still bugs sometimes interfere.

    Really good Hero shooter, literally has everything you want in a Hero Shooter game. The game is NOT pay-to-win, has epic skins, listens to the community....what else do you want?

    A very good game. Comparison to Overwatch is unavoidable, but I slightly prefer this.

    --- The good: (+) Very satisfying combat mechanics (+) Champions' abilities customizable thru personal 'loadouts', adding tactical depth & replayability even under the same champion (+) Great A.I bots to play with! (+) Every champion can contribute (and even when you suck). I've played with 9 so    A very good game. Comparison to Overwatch is unavoidable, but I slightly prefer this.

    A solid, enjoyable hero shooter, varied and polished. Yes, it does have a lot of Overwatch DNA, but in some areas it’s more advanced than Blizzard’s game (e.g. wide range of adjustments you can make to adapt your character to your playing style) and it’s free. [08/2018, p.62]

    Paladins shouldn’t be seen just as the free alternative to Overwatch but, instead, should be praised as one of the best multiplayers nowadays. A great and addictive game that will surely entertain every kind of player thanks to its accessibility and well-developed mechanics.
