    Pacific Storm is slow, verbose, complex, and generally too difficult to learn in a short enough time to be entertaining. The tutorial was a slog and I saw nothing in the game that made me want to suffer my way through it into the first level.

    Pacific Storm is an entirely original experience. Though there are a number of good games that simulate either the operational or tactical aspects of the war, none have combined the two into the complete experience you get with Pacific Storm.

    For a MSRP of 30 bucks I think it is a steal. I would like to mention that there is no multiplayer capability online. This will most likely be the most controversial down side of the game.
