    People calling this game frustrating either have no analogue controls or knowledge as to enduro-like sports, especially regarding the traction. Lads. This game is not an arcade racer. You simply cannot use full throttle there. It's all about finding the good traction. Now, said that, the game is great and addictive, has great physics and nice views (not as bad as described here somewhere). The only thing I dislike is the sound. It is not bad, but it is also not good. The engines are actually a bit too loud and monotonous, the sounds aren't fully accurate or diverse. The music in the menu though is pretty fantastic. And maybe one more thing, I wish I could change my steering sensitivity for the Xbox controller, I tend to personalise it. But other than that, the game is solid, I like it, worth the price. I disagree with the negative reviews. Perhaps they confused this one with Asphalt 9 and are surprised that a buggy or an ATV simply won't go 45 degrees uphill on full-throttle, because physics.     Not that bad. Great might have said how dare you?) But glad i did. Looked a bit meh on youtube gameplays, but like many games plays better than expected from watching.
    As magazines already said might be a little bit frustrating, even as the "tutorial" has some quite ugly zones, but once you get it it gets fun, a challenge to bypass these zones in later stages too.

    Graphics might not be 2020 in fullhd but its ok, gameplay is smooth, challenging, sometimes hard, but not that frustrating that you woulndt go on giving it a try.
    Carreer overview from what i already saw has stages for some hours to play.

    Amazing concept however completely unplayable as you can not use throttle control on a computer. Graphics from the early 2000's, very challenging and extremely frustrating when you have several attempts at getting up a basic hill in early game. Physics are at the bad end with the extremely top heavy vehicles constantly toppling over.

    In this extremely niche genre, studio should’ve paid very close attention to physics and car’s inner workings; as it is, Overpass is too difficult for an arcade racing game, but way too shallow for a proper sim. [Issue#245, p.59]

    The best thing that Overpass has going for it is the fact that its niche uniqueness within the racing genre. Not too many racing games feature the complex, raw realness that Overpass offers, setting it apart from other titles. Unfortunately, that is also its biggest downfall, since, for most racing genre fans, it’s just not that much fun. While the game succeeds in its mission to simulate the more complex nature of racing that avid offroad fans will likely enjoy, it doesn’t really have much appeal to the masses, making Overpass a title that is probably worth passing over.

    I have raced many a game but Overpass brings something new and unique to the racing genre. If you have a FFB wheel give this game a try. If not, only off-road racing fanatics will find something here to keep them coming back.
