This game isn't step up or step down. If you enjoyed the other game you are going to enjoy this game. It is an add-on in the perspective of gameplay and there are few things new to the map. But the most fun you are going to get out of this is multiplayer, I have played it more in that sense than any other game mode. There you get what you paid for and more.

Controls and graphics have been refined but the difficulty level is way too low. Overcooked 1 offer a very good balance of fun and challenge.... It also seems to lack some of the character and charm the original had...

Feels like a step backward from the original: the controls feel clunky, the levels aren't as fun, the ending felt tacked on and left us wanting more (and not in a good way). Save your money and buy the original instead.

Loved the first Overcooked game, it was one of the most fun couch experiences I have every had. The sequel destroyed the whole thing though by making the game trivially and pathetically easy. There is zero challange left, even in the optional dog levels. This game might suit 5 year old kids now. Expand

There is one thing for sure, most the games which use Unity Game Engine are really bad and not worth to buy or play.

A chaotic cooking game best enjoyed with friends. I am not really into this type of games, but once my party got accustomed to the game’s mechanics, I suddenly started enjoying it. You will get a few hours of fun with its simplistic gameplay and charming graphics.

I would recommend this only for multiplayer with friends though.

A must game for a good coop experience. It seems like a child's game but it is hard

I have never experienced such stress in a Co-Op before, and It's a cooking game!! In short it's a great couch experience, so fun and involves a lot of communication between the players, something most Co-Op sometimes forget.

A fun multiplayer cooperative game, it may be confusing at first, and it will gradually get better after getting started.

Crazy good to play with friends.

You will rage, laugh, have fun, get pissed, and will laugh again. It takes a lot of coordination and communication to get it right. Levels are challenging and the game puts a lot of new revenues and situations for you and your friends to unravel.

Level designs are cool. The art direction is either. I recommend it.

With simple controls, cute cartoon characters and vibrant kitchen designs, Overcooked! 2 is a great game for the whole family. But be warned, it can get competitive, even when you’re supposed to be working together. There will be people screaming ‘chop the onions’ or ‘I need some milk’, but it is all in good fun. With a range of game modes – story, arcade and versus, there is endless replayability, particularly as you’ll want to collect the allotted three stars (or four stars after completing the story mode) and will keep the family entertained – which is of utmost importance during times of pandemic lockdowns.
