    It's hard to believe, but there are still bugs that prevent the game from being played. These bugs prevent you from shooting and make the ability unusable. After a while, I closed the game in anger and deleted it.

    Jede Klasse darf 3 Spells aufrüsten, die Waffen sind super und das Aufwerten der Ausrüstung ist ganz gut durchdacht, nur nicht so gut umgesetzt. Es mangelt dauernd an Titan, daher werden größtenteils blaue Rüstungsteile verwendet, anstatt lila und goldene, da man für die nur Eisen oder sowas braucht. Die Storys ist richtig 0815 und nicht    Das Gameplay und das Konzept ist spitze.

    Die Expeditionen sind aber eher langweilig und nicht wirklich gebalanced, entweder unschaffbar und einen Rang drunter viel zu leicht.    … Expand

    World dumbest shooter. It is such a primitive, idea free point and shoot game that I applaud standing to the developer and the publisher who managed to sell that for real money. This is literally they must play you to waste your time with this.

    Think Destiny, but extremely low budget. Even with a friend to play with, it was too boring and repetitive to finish. Thankfully, I didn't spend any money on this crap.

    First, the most important thing: This game easily has the best build system of any looter shooter I have played (Destiny, Division, Borderlands, Warframe, probably more I'm forgetting).

    Not only is there a large variety of possible builds, each class and build can feel very unique and refreshing as it will change the way you actually play the game.     The gameplay itself is fast and fun and enjoyable solo as well as with a team. The combat is satisfying and chaotic.

    The story isn't much, but it provides an interesting world with a good amount of lore to dig into if that's your thing. The world it provides is also quite beautiful, which runs quite contrary to the story and overall darker tone of the game.

    Overall the real attraction is the build crafting, so if that's something you enjoy, this game offers countless hours of fun. If you're a fan of looter shooters and making your own custom build for a character, I can't recommend this game enough.    … Expand

    I'm playing Outriders on a Steam FREE PLAY event, and I must say that I'm really impressed with the gameplay, story, graphics, combat, and audio. Outriders is a fun time for me, and the combat is exciting and at times visceral. I came into this game with no expectations whatsoever, and I decided to give an unbiased attempt. This game comes from the developers of Painkiller, Bulletstorm,I'm playing Outriders on a Steam FREE PLAY event, and I must say that I'm really impressed with the gameplay, story, graphics, combat, and audio. Outriders is a fun time for me, and the combat is exciting and at times visceral. I came into this game with no expectations whatsoever, and I decided to give an unbiased attempt. This game comes from the developers of Painkiller, Bulletstorm, and Gears of War - so you know combat will be intense at times. Outriders is compared to Destiny quite a lot, and while I can see some of that core gameplay here Outriders does its own thing. The setting and aesthetic of the game reminds me of Mad Max meets Rage, with some Bulletstorm thrown in for good measure. I really like it.

    The enemy A.I. is engaging, and I was happy to see that enemies will advance on my position, rush me at times, and even come up on my flank. It kept me on my toes, and made sure that I had situational awareness at all times. A.I. like this will keep me from getting bored. Cover is very important in this game, and I'm guessing this is where the developer's GoW influences get injected into Outriders. Cover is great, and I honestly wish more developers would make it part of their gameplay as well; It's what I loved about The Division and Gears of War. It makes your combat choices smart, and allows for a more tactical approach to combat IMO.

    I also liked that the game allows me to set my difficulty setting. The game is setup around World Tiers, and as you level-up and collect gear - you can set your gameplay challenge accordingly. I also liked that the developers chose to reward players at higher difficulties with better loot drops. It definitely gives that risk versus reward scenario.

    Co-operative play was good for me. The queue seems to take some time to assemble a party of similarly leveled players, but wait times for me were under 60-seconds overall. I would only lose connection when the party leader would disconnect from the game, which seems like the system is working as intended/designed. The only downside to co-operative seems to be in hoping that everyone in the party is doing the same quests or missions as you.

    Overall my first impression with Outriders is very positive. The game offers a lot for me to enjoy, and while I've tried this game during a FREE PLAY event, I'm glad that I had a chance to give this game a go. I think its something that I would like to sink my teeth into.

    For any of you that happen to read my review, just know that I'm a casual gamer. I mention this because my gameplay experience with this title probably won't be me in the end game; I may never get there honestly. So my time will be spent leveling up my character, and seeing what that offers along the way. I've read many of the other reviews here on Steam, and while I haven't experienced any game-breaking bugs or problems, I've seen very minor glitches. Thankfully, it seems that the developer, People Can Fly (PCF), actively updates and patches this title. As for the gamers experiencing server disconnects and log-on problems, that hasn't been my experience at all; Connection to the game has been steady with no interruptions at all. YMMV.

    Overall, I like what Outriders is offering here. The game absolutely feels like Destiny in a lot of ways, but Outriders has its own style and flourishes.

    Неудачная копирка дестени, есть положительные моменты, но в целом обычный проходняк с лейт гриндом и сложностями миров, вроде там упрощали, но один хер вы будете гриндить миры без сюжета и смысла чтобы дойти до псевдо сюжетных пару диалогов и пару новых локаций. Кароче проходный бред, но на пару вечером может зайти, тем кому зашли дустаны. A week ago we played 1 mission 5 times in 40 minutes, because the server connection was gone 4 times !!! I tried playing single player with the same result. So, after one year there is still no patch, that would allow you to play offline, nor have the server issues been fixed. Honestly, can it be any clearer that the Dev´s just don´t care.... yeah, no more games from people can fly for me. What a disgrace!    … Expand

    If you are looking for something to play with a friends or partner, this is the best choice. We liked it a lot more than the Borderlands (which we like very much too).
    It's a pity that poor optimization on release spoiled the game's average score.
    Gameplay - 10/10

Mechanics are dumb, for example you cant pass, push, roll through enemies, how many times there were death, because just one prefectly placed enemy kept you stuck in corner. Blocades are useless!     the graphics are great the story is good and the character is feels alive everything about the game perfect but only one thing is make this game unplayable and that is a huge bug! I cant hear any bullet or enemy sounds. I try to reopen the game again n again but the bug is still there so i deleted it. never sell a unfinished game

    Graphics: here, in general, everything is at the highest level and this is on the Anreal engine. The design of levels, locations, nature, desert, buildings, caves, everything that surrounds the player immerses him in unprecedented beauty. We paid great attention to detail in everything absolutely.

    Sound: dubbing is beyond praise, unfortunately, but I will say that I liked dubbing more than in Cyberpunk. Background sound always spurs you on to action. Music prepares you for battle and lets you know when you can take a break.

    Gameplay: It's the icing on the cake! the game entertains in such a way that you can simply forget and play so that you do not notice how much time is spent in the game. it’s simply impossible to get bored in the game, so much action has been delivered that it’s hard to believe that it’s possible to think through everything and at the same time, there is no feeling of fatigue from shooting or what is happening, everything is in moderation.

    Verdict: an excellent looter shooter with an interesting plot, shooting, and a fantastic world. We are waiting for the continuation .......

    It playable. It can give you fun. But you have to play coop for it. It has bad optimization. has lags on powerfull PC, but has no greate graphics. And first of all NOONE like GRINDING.

    It's such a good game, one of the best shooters ever, weapons are cool and alot of variety, gameplay is fast and exciting, enemies are diverse and it has beautifull graphics, sound and music!.Characters do have character and i like it. Story wise i don't know but the basic idea is cool. Should be the best game of this year. I'm playing in single player mode and that's just the thing iIt's such a good game, one of the best shooters ever, weapons are cool and alot of variety, gameplay is fast and exciting, enemies are diverse and it has beautifull graphics, sound and music!.Characters do have character and i like it.     + Somewhat interesting world
    + Semi-deep class customization, though as always i hate meta builds being mandatory

    Negatives:
    - Cringeworthy dialogue (either be serious or comedic and not both), story that goes nowhere (the
    ending was a joke) and characters who cant stop talking, runing any sense of atmosphere on an
    alien world.
    - Very much wasted potential concerning the world and setting in general (i.e. reusing models for
    bosses, especially for the hunting missions where the monsters are supposed to be named
    individual beasts that you even bring back as a trophy, but then they all are just normal boss
    monsters in different colors, very dissapointing)( Alien natives, that end up as cannon fooder, with
    no background, no "alien" culture, no special traits beside one different captain.)( All factions use
    the same army tactics/units, even the aliens. Basically just different skins)
    - Always-Online which i will never stop hating
    - An insane amount of bugs. Lightning glitches, not properly functioning gear or passives, game
    crashing on startup and so on.
    - Somewhat weak feeling abilities.

    Again, i had fun with the game. But you can make anything fun with friends, so i dont want to use that argument. My main feeling with this game would be disapointed. The game has a lot of potential but who or what doesnt. And that doesnt matter if its wasted potential. As a loot, coop shooter its fun with friends when you need a game to not be bored. But it certainly isnt something i would want to play again in the future    … Expand

    I really like this game. Great graphics, excellent story, and super good gameplay. Sure, there are some annoying technical issues with the servers, but if you can get past that, you'll have a fantastic experience.

For the last two weeks, I've been stuck in one fight because the game loses connection to the servers and due to checkpoint saving I have to repeat the whole zone again and again and again (14 times atm). It did that on another occasion as well but then it was not as painful as I was able to get to another checkpoint time. Srsly, don't buy it on PC. It's anotherThis game does not work.     + Story - Surprisingly interesting + Loot - not bad at all + 3 types of warriors with 3 diff ways - big tree of abilities - variant of enemies - raids after main story -maybe 1 or 2, other need to play in co-op - bug in main loading    I just enjoyed it.     The game has potential if it actually loaded every time or didn't crash. The game needs more diversity in tactics. It feels repetitive after a while. The game play is fun. The maps are pretty (BUT narrow) The story is a little confusing. If they fix some simple issues I'd rate it a 7 or even 8 because I love coop games

    I genuinely enjoyed this game. Do note that MANY of the negative reviews are from the issues of the game at launch, many of which were resolved a month or two afterwards. The campaign is short (~ 20 hours), but you have the ability to completely play through again with a different class and an entirely different play style. The end game is finite, and it's mostly about min-maxing yourI genuinely enjoyed this game. Decent gun variety, satisfying and interesting mods, and an interesting mutation system. The classes are a bit locked and you can only have three abilities chosen at a time (with no pause to change in a fight if you realize you went with the wrong combo).

    The dialog is pretty bad with only a couple of the characters even having anything remotely close to decent personalities. It seems everyone is massively bi-polar, and the voice acting is "meh" at best. The player character is probably the best voiced in the whole game and has the most stable personality when dealing with situations.
    The story is just atrocious. The first 15 minutes of the game reels you in with a decent story and ok characters, then goes downhill like an Olympic skier. The world ends and only the best of the best of humanity are saved. But when things get a little tough, the supposed best of the best turn into blood thirsty animals who kill each other for no reason with. It was obvious that the writers never even thought of talking to a veteran, as every NPC's excuse for executing surrendering soldiers, or in one case an enemy soldier who saved the NPC's life (who in turn executes him), is "This is what war is", which it most definitely is not. NPC's will die when it makes no sense for them to die; one scene everyone is screaming and pointing guns at each other, then the main bad guy of the event shoots the one guy with a holstered weapon trying to diffuse the situation and literally asking for everyone to just calm down and talk, not the girl screaming in his face, not the soldiers pointing guns at each other, but the guy staying calm trying to talk it out. Then there is both sides trying to get you to fight for them talking about how everyone is almost out of ammunition and supplies, but there is always bullets flying everywhere, massive explosions, and just spray-and-pray mentalities.
    If you ignore the story and can get through the terribly made cut scenes (like a cameraman who never heard of a gimble or stabilization technology is having a seizure while he films), the game can be pretty fun.    … Expand

    Also all your loot is saved on there sever so nothing you gain from this game is truly yours and they purposly did wipes of peoples gear. Understand the loot that is saved is no bigger then 10 megabytes in size and most people playing this game has 5 terabytes witch could save that data and they could have 20 more games with full of saved data.
    They also say this game is singleplayer well its not enjoyable when you hit lag spikes playing alone.
    I think you all get what im saying this game is far worser then cyberpunk 2077 like beyond far worse.    … Expand

    This is a creative masterpiece. It plays like a hard core "B" science fiction movie, drawn out by large battles in which the players characters fight with special abilities.     Don't believe the naysayers. Outriders is a very enjoyable game. Shame on Square Enix for treating it like a second-class release. But what's good about Outriders manages to shine through anyway.

    Cosa vi posso dire si che e un gioco fatto molto bene stilisticamente parlando anche dal Doppiaggio non è male ma purtroppo non è tutto rosa e fiori, in quanto dalla mia prova che lo ho giocai ho avuto problemi sia il bilanciamento di livello difficoltà che potete scegliere ma il gioco è puntato in Coop e dovete giocare in cooperativa, ma è possiible farlo anche da soli il gioco ma dovete abbassare certe volte il livello di difficoltà per andare avanti perché più va avanti poi diventa complesso riguardante molti nemici sia su schermi, e poi boss molto ostici da sconfiggere molto altro.

    Il livello di abilità come sistema di raffinazione non è male in cui il giocatore può decidere diverse classi e in cui varia il propio gameplay di gioco ed punta alle esigenze del giocatore, purtroppo è presente anche il sistema delle microtransazioni ma facilitano solo il gioco fino ad un certo punto per le armi leggendarie e altro.

    Al livello Tecnico cosa vi posso dire è stupendo ricco di dettaglio il gioco è stato fatto con Unreal Engine 4 e in base alla piattaforme ho riscontrato pochi bug sulle collisioni e altro ma sto che il team di sviluppo lo sta correggendo in corsa per dare un’ottima esperienza l’utente su questo meraviglioso titolo, il frame rate oscilla dai 60FPS ma certe volte cala quando ci sono situazioni disparate ma rimane comunque stabile sia in 1080p e 4K su Stadia che è stato il mio banco di prova anche su Xbox tramite Xcloud si comportava molto bene anche se la connessione non era abbastanza fluida ho riscontrato pochi lag.

    La differenza tra queste tre piattaforme quale la più vincitore secondo te?

    Allora e una scelta tra il giocatore per chi non avesse Stadia può giocarlo direttamente su PC attraverso GeForce Now in streaming, se desiderate giocarlo su Console potete acquistarlo normalmente oppure per chi ha Il gamepass lo trova all’interno compreso XCLOUD per giocarlo con vostri amici Xbox e PC, poi se avete Stadia potete giocarlo tranquillamente.

Unfortunately, this game's multiplayer is super laggy, sometimes bullets from enemies don't even exist, and sometimes you will get shot through walls if you are not hosting. The game is also super laggy when you are not the host. After you beat the 10-hour story, you will be able to play destiny like nightfalls but with the previous missions. Beating all 15 of the missions will allow you to do a final boss fight, which is the same boss you fight when you beat the game just in a different area with different powers. When this game was announced I was hoping it wouldn't be an Anthem clone but unfortunately, it was. I would say give this game a try when it's on sale for $25. There are still side missions and extras but I don't feel encouraged to complete them.… Expand

If you where shown several games side by side with Outriders and asked to pick which one was made by the same team you would never pick Bulletstorm in a million years. I mean, its okayish, but you can clearly see that it is in some sort of awkward middle ground between Destiny 2 and Gears of War. It feels like they wereClose, but no Cigar. My biggest problem with Outriders is Bulletstorm. I mean, its okayish, but you can clearly see that it is in some sort of awkward middle ground between Destiny 2 and Gears of War. It feels like they were going for a Persistent Online Looter shooter, remembered the fate of Anthem and changed gears half way through.

    That aside the controls for the Camera and ADS just feel slightly `wrong` even after messing about with turning Aim Assist and camera sensitivity there is just this almost indefinable sense that you aren't quite doing what you want. I started the game and chose the Trickster who is supposed to be a close range fighter who relies on interrupts but getting into a pack of enemies and trying to use the blade attack was quite literally hit or miss as I found myself accidentally being slightly off at a 45 degree angle. Changing to a Pyromancer made my previous attempts moot as it made the enemies laughably ineffective.

    In conclusion there is really nothing that jumps out and makes you think `wow`. The cover system is broken (enemies seem to have infinite grenades that can target you with pin point accuracy), the story is meh and I couldn't care less about the story line.    … Expand

The problem is that after the campaign, things go south.     I enjoy this game but this game definitely needs some more love from the Devs. Once they eliminate all the bugs from this game, they really need to create something for me to do in endgame. Also buffs are needed for all characters skills trees, most weapon types need more buffs, Transmog to look cool and drop rates for gear as well.     absolutely a bastard game in technical terms. it's been 2 months since the release, but it constantly crashes and crashes 3-4 times in a couple of hours, or just disappears from the servers. this is especially "pleasing" during the passage of the expeditions. to the developers of "BRAVO".

    Outriders also struggles to hit an enjoyable difficulty level. On paper, the world-tier system seems appealing: difficulty can be adjusted on the fly, with more difficult enemies providing better loot and better drop rates. However, it feels discouraging when you a reach point where enemies can destroy even the "tank" class in one or two hits. So if you decrease the difficulty, congratulations, you can stomp the enemies to experience a bland story, but you reach a point where to experience the end-game content, you must play at the highest world tiers to obtain the highest-level loot.

    There's also no self-revive in single-player despite having one per encounter when playing co-op, which can lead to frustration. Encounters pretty much all come down to one or two remaining elite enemies at the end that soak up an inordinate amount of damage while doing nothing interesting.    … Expand

    Buggy and broken. Every time the developer releases a patch to "fix" one of many game-breaking bugs, they introduce 5 more game-breaking bugs. People Can Fly clearly have no idea what they are doing. Thought Cyberpunk 2077 was bad? This is worse. You are better of spending your time and money on ANYTHING else.

    Weeks later, still a good game if you like paying $60 to be a beta tester. The issues with servers being down for hours only for them to come back up for 15 mins before they go back down is largely fixed. When there aren't server issues you have microstutters, framerate issues, audio going out or uncentered from you, blurry graphics and crashing. And after weeks of issues they wipe yourWeeks later, still a good game if you like paying $60 to be a beta tester. The issues with servers being down for hours only for them to come back up for 15 mins before they go back down is largely fixed. When there aren't server issues you have microstutters, framerate issues, audio going out or uncentered from you, blurry graphics and crashing. And after weeks of issues they wipe your character along with thousands of other players and only tell you for almost 2 weeks now "we'll fix and restore your character SOON" with no detailed information.

    The enemy AI is all the same just reskinned, pretty brainless and just mindlessly runs at you in mobs and the ranged characters hit you even when not facing you, warping into you, etc. The infantry are the smartest but they just take cover behind objects everyone else is just bullet sponges.

    Campaign can be beat in under 5 hours w/ your character reaching max level and world tier as well. The maps are boring with you running down different looking corridors until you reach a bubble with cover that's one of a handful of boss fights per level, no open world at all.

    End game? Have fun playing the same 14 maps over and over running down the same corridors hoping for a random legendary drop, but you only get the same 7 out of 150 some. Oh and forget about playing coop, the scaling is beyond broken. Your end game build can 1 shot enemies and clear expeditions quickly. Add a 2nd person and your damage and health stays the same but enemies are more than double health and double damage. A 3rd? More than 4x health and damage while your characters are the same. Also, if you're not the host (players connect to each other in instances to play, and then connect to the Outriders data server) you'll experience bad hit reg, skills not triggering but going on cooldown, warping around map and getting stuck in walls, shooting enemies do no damage, etc.

    TLDR, game isn't even worth spending $20 on. Stay far away    … Expand

It definitely has potential though as a looter shooter. When it comes to build variety, it's nowhere near the depth of many other looter type games out there. I would almost consider this more of a "Lite" version of this genre to some extent.

    The gameplay itself is interesting as it has a cover mechanic system similar to Gears of War but is unnecessary since the combat is more aggressive and fast paced. Plus, the cover system is very archaic in design--clunky and actually hurts being agile. You cannot vault over tons of obstacles. You constantly are forced to take stairs or ramps when you should obviously be able to climb up a ledge but cannot. I would have much preferred the ability to jump and crouch and have a more natural, dynamic cover system that does not involve hard latching to walls. Would have complemented this game a lot more.

    Graphics have moments of being decent but overall, nothing special. A bit dated when considered in the AAA group of games (which its priced as such). Sound is OK. Its not always synced well and has a horrible level control--many times it randomly gets too loud which if wearing headphones is painful. I also do not care for the sound effects of some skills and weapons. But overall, the guns and skills do sound impactful. They just could have improved details.

    The game is also fairly 1 dimensional in design. You have an "arena" where you clear enemies out, go to a connection piece (usually a door), then go to the next "arena." Its fine for the game play but at the same time, can be monotonous. Its definitely an old school design and unoriginal. I would have preferred more dynamics with bigger maps to create more potential. Plus, there are these AWFUL transitional cutscenes. You always get stuck with a brief black screen, very brief cutscene of you opening something or jumping a ledge, then another brief black screen to then start playing. It happens for nearly everything. It hurts the cinematic feel with many situations. Even the different stages of a boss do this. I would have preferred staying in third person while watching a boss undergo changes vs this jarring effect. Just needs to be much more seamless in design.

    The different classes are definitely unique to each other. They have some cool abilities and cool looking gear. This is more of the highlight of the game because you definitely will feel powerful in most situations. Crafting is clean and simple for the most part with decent cohesion and interactions between the large variety of Mods. Again, not exactly a ton of depth like say Diablo 3, Warframe, Borderlands 3 or many other looter type games. But still fun to optimize builds.

    Another area the game needs some work on is AI. Enemies are nothing too special. Overall, they dont do bad. Sometimes I wished the ranged units would maneuver from cover to cover more and melee enemies didnt run in nearly a straight line to you all the time (give them an evasive maneuver which the human versions actually do). Ranged enemies can also be way harder than their bosses they accompany. They have insane levels of tracking (my god snipers are dumb to deal with in a couple maps). And most enemies will stagger you even if youre mid dodge (no I-Frames when dodging). You can actually get almost stun-locked at times and its incredibly frustrating. The overzealous stunning is actually an issue that definitely needs attention.

    Another area the game needs work on is balancing. Theres a definite gap where being high DPS with weapons is what really matters for the most part. You can just glass cannon throough everything and maintain healing through this--Damaging Skills need major buffs as well.. The endgame is timed trials and it heavily promotes this play style. If there were other formats of gameplay such as Defense mode or Horde mode, it could open gameplay up to also Tanks or supports

    Overall, fun game but needs a lot of work still and doesnt do anything new or unique in the genre. Plus, it has many bugs and performance issues thus a major reason for a low score. Ignoring the issues, I would give this game a 6/10.    … Expand

    *) Game does not try to reconnect on connection loss (sic!): E.g.     *) Enemies often appear out of nowhere when one goes into an empty looking part of the current battle zone
    *) The game has lots of invisible walls - in 2021... *sigh*
    *) Running back to a restock oftentimes triggers a "do not leave your allies" or "do not lead enemies to your allies" message + countdown, which either resets the encounter or teleports you right next to a powerful boss enemy
    *) Interface is clonky
    *) Graphics quality is uneven and not always AAA
    *) Path indicator does not always work, and sometimes sends you to the wrong location
    *) Buy if you love this type of game, otherwise I would highly recommend to wait until it is out of Early Access / Beta...    … Expand

    I love outriders, but there are definitely some things that stop me from loving it as much as I could.
    This is a 3rd person cover based shoote that can be played both solo and online with up to 3 players.
    I stuck to this games campaign solo and it took me about 14 hours to get through.. The game starts with you creating your own charcter, and the story here.. well it might as well not even exist.. I couldn’t tell you anything, I couldn’t even tell you how the game ends if I wanted to, basically a storm happens, youre frozen, youre unfrozen 20 years late futurama style, and you come out and wanna shoot stuff.
    The gameplay here is super fun and addictive.. most of the time.. thing gears of war meets mass effect meets the division.. obviously outriders feels nowhere near as polished and detailed as those games.. but for a first attempt in a series, this is a really good one… Something unique here that has promise but major issues is the tier system.. instead of choosing a difficulty, the game gets harder as you progress, everyone starts at story difficuolty, then you unlock easy, normal, hard, expert, and so on… however once you get to a tier you find too challenging aka too annoying youre free to drop back to any previously unlocked tier that youd like… and this is what I did on m way to tier 6, I dropped back to normal.. and why you might ask? I loved the challenge tier 5 was giving me.. however outriders is desined as a games of service game and for that reason, the checkpoints throughout the campaign are awful.. ontop of that there are insane random difficulty spikes… youll go from having an nice challenge to waves of enemies that have you wanting to bang your head against the wall, oyull get so close to the end, or completete the first wave and lose to some scrub and have to start all the way back at the beginning of wave 1 instead of the wave your died on.. enough to again make you want to drop down to normal difficulty.. however… even in normal these random spikes occur, theres even one enemy called the shaman warlord that is so unbalanced and overpowered that I had to drop down to story difficulty…
    Im sure I could have eventually beat them on normal, but story took 3 minutes, normal would’ve taken like an hour. It just wasn’t worth the effort,,, balancing in general I outriders biggest problem.. from random enemies feeling overpowered to random difficulty spikes and awful checkpoint system… so the gameplay can go from great to frustrating, the story is trash, why is outriders so good?
    Well that comes in the form of its looter hook… at the beginning of the game you choose one of 3 classes, and its so addictive to find weapons through this game and try to tailor them to your specific playstyle.. overcome these sometimes annoying challenges with a feeling god like power… as as you level up, youll choose 3 abilities to have at yoru disposal during combat… there is post game content though.. and plenty… the story mode is essentially you getting your character ready for the online bits.. even though of course you can play through the story with friends… but after the game is where leveling up your tier really starts to matter, this is where youll be challenging yourself to unlock new areas and collect all of these fallen pods…I however personally found the actual world of outriders to be pretty lack luster and uninteresting.. so naturally I have no interest in going off and grinding.. though I do believe the mechanics are fun enough here for plenty who would based on that alone…
    Outriders again has potential as a series.. would I play outriders 2? Yes…
    s again I loved the gameplay hook and Id love a sequal that balances everything out better.
    Am I clamoring for outriders 2? No.
    Again the story and world are lacking, and im not quite sure how the team over at people can fly can fix it.

    Algo que percebi ao decorrer do jogo é que os efeitos sonoros ao utilizar os poderes especiais são um pouco exagerado no volume, mostrando que sua mixagem de áudio não é uma das melhores já que algumas cutscenes em um personagem específico também é possível perceber esse problema.

    Porém não podemos deixar de elogiar a PeopleCanFly em alguns quesitos como por exemplo o combate do jogo, os cenários que ao decorrer do jogo pode se perceber que é muito mais do que “arenas de paintball” e o conteúdo do jogo, que mesmo após terminar ainda terá muito a se fazer em Outriders.    … Expand

    9 corridors out of 10. Normal igruha, the atmosphere of the plot and the design of the corridors at a height. Everything works for me without lags and stable FPS.

    Dont buy this game. Its a shame to release a game with that much bug, making it unplayable with your firend. Its look like a half developped game, rushed released. Not worth the price. Be careful.

    I pre-ordered Anthem and look at what happened. I pre-ordered Outriders. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I put in 50 hours and now have lost all my gear. The developers don't even have an ETA for a fix. Stay away from this game.

    I am tired of these Destiny types of games. Every time it's the same. Looter shooter with a mediocre story. We need more games like Red Dead Redemption 2 and fewer games like Outriders, Destiny, Anthem, etc. 0/10.

    What an abomination. Lost 40 hours of playtime when my inventory got wiped and I'm no longer able to log into my character without being disconnected. This game should never have been online only. Do not waste your money.

    After suffering through week of crashs and servers down they put major nerfs because of less then 1% of players breezeing though end game. Now two of four ckasses are practically unplayable. The patch to fix inventories wiped made it worse. Ive played cyberpunk, anthem and fallout 76 the issues here are so much worse then others.

    Picked up the game and ran as the devastator "tank" class. I have to say, for a class advertised as a "stand your ground" class, I spent most of my time running and hiding from volleys of grenade spam and bullet sponge elites, wishing that I could get health back at something other than close range. Finally this morning I also got that infamous bug that stripped me of all my inventory, and decided I'd had enough. This game can suck my dick.… Expand

    Stay FAR FAR AWAY. Game is “always online” and WILL wipe your full gear eventually if you play it long enough. People can fly (the devs) are major bumbling fools and are clearly in WAYYYY over their heads

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Outriders tries to cut out it's own little piece of the looter shooter genre, instead of being just another Destiny copy it takes some risks with the formula overall with varying success. First thing I'd say is I do not think Outriders should be classified into the same broad range as other looter shooters, if anything I would call it a strange new mix of Diablo Shooter. Loot comes at you fast and furious, while most of it is generally useless you can disassemble both weapons and armor for mods that can be then placed on other pieces. At the same time you are given a small indicator on items that shows if you already own said mods and can just outright sell for "scrap", the in universe stand in for money. One of the main areas Outriders falls short is giving the player the option to focus on run and gun shooting or stick to cover. While the game gives you the option to stick to cover Gears of War style it doesn't do a great job in making it a fun experience. Most enemies will lob some type of grenade to chase you from cover or just suicide flank you making the run and gun style of shooting much more appealing and seemingly the overall meta. When I initially played the open beta for Outriders I wasn't thrilled with the story we were allowed to see nor the early class skills in general and I was hesitant at best to give this game a try. But boredom won out and I jumped in, short of early server issues and a few bugs my personal experience is Outriders ran well enough. Story wise early it is a bit hit or miss and the ending kinda hits it's mark. There are a few story beats where I was super into the mystery and others are was perplexed why that was their answer for the way events happened. Classes are a weak point early but slowly build into a strength the higher you level, allowing you to tailor a class more towards your liking. Weapons and armor are easily customizable, some armor looks great and others looks like they don't fit the universe at all. It's mainly about finding the look of armor you want, get the highest end version of it and mod it to your liking. This game is far more casual than some others in that aspect, in Outriders you probably only have to spent a few days at most to get the gear you want while other games time lock you trying to do so. Outriders end game is called "Expeditions" and is a solo or group race against time to recover crashed supply pods. While it is easier in a group some aspects of this mode were overlooked, such as solo players not getting any extra time to complete and not getting a single res like the group mode. While this mode can become a challenge higher up you go in it's levels it will still give you some rewards for failure so at least if you die solo or fail as a group you do get some reward instead of just wasted time. Overall the community as a whole is good, the Devastator class as of this review is highly lacking in end game desirability as groups prefer high end damage over a meaty tank class.

    Overall I enjoyed the game, it doesn't take any radical next steps for the genre and makes some aspects of it more casual player friendly while allowing enough end game replay ability now for it to be fun. Decent story, decently fun but lacking variety side quests, fast loot progression, scaling difficulty and good enough end game for now. Outriders is a solid game that doesn't blow down the doors of a genre but with enough support may have a decent shelf life in the market.

    Altered my original score of a 8 down to a 5. Big brain devs panicked over some classes out preforming others and subsequently flailed around in the darkness and nerfed basically everything to hell. Instead of selective nerfs and buffs to help bring some classes down and others up just a bit they basically killed all high end builds that were clearing content too fast and moved the timed gated end game goal post to make it virtually impossible on higher levels solo and in groups a times. Not only did the "over preforming" classes take massive damage and survivability hit the lower end classes also took the same hit. So the meta builds are still the meta, the crap classes and still crap and no one is having fun trying to hit a insane time limit on end game content. Until People Can Fly gets their heads out of their asses and fixes this plus a whole new full inventory wipe bug. AVOID OUTRIDERS.    … Expand

    Outriders guarantees an enjoyable evening with friends. We had lots of fun clearing out stage after stage, gathering loot, upgrading our gear and improving our builds so they complement each other perfectly. The final score would have been higher if it weren’t for tons of technical issues we had to deal with. [06/2021, p.28]

    Killing everything that moves with bullets and magic while enjoying picturesque alien vistas is good enough for 20 hours (30, if you’re into Expeditions), but don’t expect anything more substantial out of Outriders.

    Gears of War meets Destiny… and the end result is mediocre. Take away the "coolness" of playing a gun totting superhero, and all you are left with is basically one more generic looter shooter, that doesn't manage to impress, neither with its repetitive gameplay, nor with its boring story and world building. Add to that a couple of technical and network issues, and you are in for a - pricey - treat.
