    You take the role of Robert, a man grappling with the loss of his wife Joann, as he takes on a remote job as a caretaker for abandoned homes during the winter/fall season in search of peace and solitude. However, as a severe storm approaches, you are tasked with securing one final property on the hill.

    As you secure the house and complete your chores, strange occurrences and unexplained phenomena come to light, along with a mysterious figure that seems linked to the events at hand. Through examination of various objects and clues within the property, you begin to realize that a sinister presence may be at play, leading to a series of unsettling events during your stay as you try to piece together the mystery of the former residents of the house.

    Ontotis is a psychological horror title that fails to impress. The cliched story and monotone protagonist fail to set the world alight. Additionally, the well-trodden mechanics are uninspiring and disappointing.
