Couldn't bother to complete. O.K.ish sidescroller with so, so combat mechanics. Has decent Art Style, but boring level design. It's a combat sidescroller, not a classic platformer kind of game. Mark of the Ninja was way more atmospheric and interesting game. What killed it for me is lack of decent controller support, x360ce didn't work for me and some other players, as far as I know. Even thou the game suggests at its loading screen, that it's best played on a gamepad. Expand

Onikira feels like it was designed by an overly controlling parent.

The combat is the only thing Onikira's done right. Everything else feels flat and boring, even though the game initially shows some promise.

Action platformer set in Japan needed a few more months of work to reach the top, another writer and a bit more of creativity. Its main advantage is a successful fighting system.
