Very, very bad port. The game works half of the time, but the other half it is completely broken. You can't even bind certain keys - e.g cannot bind the SHIFT key to dash. Even with the recent patches the game doesn't run constant 60fps, which I think is very crucial considering the gameplay is solely tied to its framerate; there's a weird input delay sometimes, where when you press aVery, very bad port. I think the core gameplay of this game is ACTUALLY good, it just this PC port is bad. If you want to play this game, play it on PS4. Avoid this game on PC until the game is fixed and is playable.

It's a good game, and it's a remake of the first two, but for me, it's quite different from them (in stages and part of how the story was told), although they keep the main ideas of the series (like keeping some characters that were bosses in the games such as saki).
Now the environments look a little better worked, good gameplay and quite entertaining.

While playing this version I had some issues like sound and random crashes. (fixing these with a config)
but even so I was able to enjoy it

Game crashes after intro. Can't even play. Bought from steam. Tried changing NVIDIA settings like others have suggested. Still nothing.

While there’s a chance you can’t play it without fiddling with things, there’s a fun game in here. It’s expensive, with far too much DLC, but it’s fun.

For players willing to put in the time to learn its subtleties, Onee Chanbara Origin has great combat, and sundering my way through crowds of zombies simply never got old. That said, there’s just not enough here to make it feel like a complete experience. While the game certainly displays everything that made the franchise into such a long-running success, I can’t help but feel that this anniversary celebration should have offered more to its fans.

Maybe it’s a bit too pricey for what it’s about, but what else can I do but surrender to its charms? If you have problems with fast women and beautiful action, though, steer away from the game. For others, it’s a short and sweet action piece that perhaps surprisingly has even a tad more depth than before.
