I was waiting this game so much, I hoped it will be RTS, but it is not even normal RPG. This game was so promising but now after I've played 30min I see that it is for children... In the first mission I must run around with only one character do some stupid things like kill wolfs etc. Is that strategy??? I better play Stronghold again. I will try now skirmish mode and if it will be I was waiting this game so much, I hoped it will be RTS, but it is not even normal RPG. I was amazed by this game as it has two different games and really disagree with the review I read on the first page. The opening of the game in RPG mode is typical of all RPG in that you have to build up your characters... It sounds like that guy only has the one level demo and not the whole game which is one of my favorite releases of the year.

I thought the game was tight! if people actually played the game to actually "play the game" there would be no point in comparing it to another. it was meant to be different, and if you dont like different then stick with nintendo! this game isnt stronghold or diablo, and it was never supposed to be.

I like this game. The RPG is great and that also children can play this game is no disadvantage. When the upcoming patch brings a greater storage for items than nobody ca stop me to gather the uniques and sets. I like the RTS because of the explicit experiance and items each single unit can get. It leads to more identification... And I also have the impression that the reviewers had not I like this game. The RPG is great and that also children can play this game is no disadvantage. The best thing that can be said for OUaK is that there's plenty to do. The RPG and RTS games are distinctly different and each are enjoyable for several days of time you'd otherwise waste watching "Gilligan's Island" reruns or possibly eating.
  2. Perhaps if the game actually were funny it could be recommended as a spoof of serious games, but that’s just not the case. You get a basic and bland RPG combined with a basic and bland RTS game, and that’s about it.
  3. There are better games in both the RPG and RTS genres.
