Well, what can I say? Really realistic, but I think it could be better. Entire game is not very bugy for me, but crashes sometimes. I think it's because the engine is little bit old (OMSI 2 is created by 2-3 people so...).

Also, there is not very much things added to it. Extended map, an articulated bus NG272, Citybus NL202. I am a little bit disappointed, but it is VERY detailed and

OMSI 2 is a highly detailed bus simulator. It does not use SLI technology and is CPU intensive so needs a high end CPU to run effictively. As for device support, TrackIR and Wheel support is also available which is a massive plus! Tutorials are available in the game and it is recommended to look at these before setting off on your own as there are lots of settings you need to know before you should dive in. The menus can be a bit confusing at first, for example if you have TrackIR and find it doesnt work you need to go to the menu in the bottom left and enable it. One thing that could be better improved is setting up a route or line, there is documentation out ther but this can get confusing so sometimes its easier to just take over an AI bus which is already setup. The camera views are great you got a large selection of views both internal and externally. You drive the first ever articulated bus in the OMSI history, the MAN NG272 and can explore the new omnibus line 5 covering a total distance of 12 km from the subway station Ruhleben to the psychiatric clinic Spandau. Thanks to the newly added chronology function you´ll not only be able to drive through Spandau in 1986, but also to relive the changes taking place in Spandau between 1986 and 1994.

OMSI 2 is a realistic bus simulator with good stuff but, the graphics are poor there are a lot of bugs (low fps, crashes) also the UI is bad. The funniest thing is the random error messages in german language.
If you are not german and you are interested for OMSI 2, good luck.

Driving a bus, it's a simple concept, but the developers of OMSI 2 did a good job. Quite nice maps and buses, quite good AI. But, bad handling line (unless using a steering wheel) , tons of bugs, glitches and crashes and awful DLCs. If you want a bus simulator with a lot of freedom, this game is something for you. But you will have to face some buggs.

I tried to do the first tutorial; it bugged out and wouldn't let me open the menu I was told to open in order to progress further along. I tried to do the second tutorial; it was in German. I tried to start a game; everything crashed. A functioning game this is not.

OMSI 2 was really the time of release full of bugs. Now, about 2 years later, the game in version 2.1.x. Around 99% the bugs are fixed and for other issues the forum for everyone is open. The game is currently playable in any case.
The variety of mods to expand the gaming experience allowed.

PS: It is unfortunate that the previous speakers do not update their review. Pure laziness!

OMSI 2 is a good game, yet quite slow, probably due to an old game engine and the use of too many different windows on top of each other. It is also quite buggy and glitchy. It is highly realistic and open-source meaning that you can get mods for it, most mods are cross compatible, as advertised, but some aren't due to the change of root of some files in the game. The physics are amazing. Although it is a good game, it doesn't offer a lot of improvements from the old game. There were 3 MAJOR changes: a ui overhaul (no, NOT game engine), an update of Berlin Spandau (the main game map) and articulated physics.
My marks are split out like this:
Good game and very realistic: 10
Buggy, glitchy and old game engine: -2
    Not many changes: -1
    Open-Source: +1
giving my total a solid 8. I really recommend this game if you have the patience of waiting, love modding and realism!

The game was well adapted to major factors such as physics, scripts and map distances but the main nuisance is bugs and is very expensive. So each content is mercenary (except modes). I would prefer, but it's full of mistakes.

OMSI 2 is the best bus simulator I've ever experienced. But it has poor graphics and lack optimization. The content can be very poor if you don't download community created content. There is no mission, we just pop up a map, spawn a bus (accordingly to the map/period or not), select a line you want to do, and you just go. There isn't even a character management, you can't get out of the bus, you have to select a bus and you switch between first person, passenger and free cameras. But the driving is really life like and the physics are nicely done.
Also, you can find plenty of content for OMSI on internet, sometimes well-made and sometimes not so well-made, in fact you can find buses with a lot of functionality and a really great level of details and buses with poor textures, terrible 3d model and almost no functionality and/or completely glitched with a terrible physics and cameras.
What annoys me is the lack of optimization, with a not-so-bad CPU and GPU, the game is sometimes laggy (10-15 fps) depending a lot on the map played and the bus (amount of details) and changing the options or useless, it will even make the game more laggy... and while driving with 10 fps isn't a pleasant experience, you will have some not-so-funny-bugs like bus jumping higher and higher as the game lags more and more.

I have one simple reason to rate it with 0 - The game is just ugly, full of bugs, and with little content. Once you get it there is just 1 map (excluding the tiny tutorial one) with 2 lines, the community is supposed to do rest of the content which has to be downloaded manually (there is no workshop). The price of the game and all DLCs are overkill and it is definitely not worth it. II have one simple reason to rate it with 0 - The game is just ugly, full of bugs, and with little content. Ok now its a bad game, buggy as hell even on top range PC's, game is well overpriced and contains only 2 routes in base game, but what makes this game good is the community (Which is not perfect, bunch of salty idiots), the amount of fantastic mod maps out there takes this game to a new level E.g (Great Grundorf V2, Manly Act 3, Bowdenham).

Also find me a bus simulator game that has more attention to detail than OMSI. These small details put it above and beyond other simulators, compare it to the Bus Simulator 2019 mess which might as well be a kiddy arcade game, because of how simplistic and basic it is, there are far worse bus simulators out there but that doesn't mean this is anyhow a good game, its a buggy mess that was neglected by the developers as a money grab, and it came down to the community to build it themselves.

So all in all OMSI 2 wow its got a lot of problems, but if you can look past that and look at the community aspect and the fantastic mod maps then you have the best bus simulator out there at the moment, Don't get me started on Lotus Simulator

Omsi 2 is the wonder of simulation and one of the most realistic games of all time. Apart from poor optimization and lack of updates, Omsi manages to do the thing that other bus simulation titles fail to do - this game makes you feel like the real driver, of a real bus, in the real world, that isn't just some glossy RTX graphics. This game features a dedicated community, the best mouse driving controls of all the world's games and everything works, every button is pressable - just like in real life. Even though the optimization is tragic and the graphics are a bit outdated, the game doesn't stutter, lag and overheat your PC nearly as much the glossy simulation games, like Bus Simulator 18, a game that had great possibility but has been ruined by the fictional unrealism and simplicism that was made to tailor the game to beginners. Omsi features realistic looking roads, road conditions, situations and very high, yet very realistic customisability, such as the weather options. Though the developing is bad, and you must mod or buy DLCs to reach a level anywhere near the game's true possibilities. I'm hoping that, soon, a true successor that deserves to be called THE Omsi 3 is going to be released anytime soon, though I'm sure that Bus Simulator 21 isn't just going to be it. I understand that some people might dislike Omsi 2, but only the REAL bus and simulation enthusiasts are going to appreciate it to its fullest. Expand

Had loads of fun with this game. But there are many (!) crashes. The game is unstable and you pay a lot for DLC.

The physics and sound is good, but the program itself is terrible.

A bus without the validator. OMSI 2 is full of bugs and glitches. Only patience allows you to enjoy the game.
