    There are parts of Exoddus that I wish had been carried over into Soulstorm. I would have loved to possess the Glukkons and make them hop around on their small-legged, no-armed bodies before unceremoniously making them explode. That’s what’s so great and, ironically, damning about Soulstorm: it is just different enough that I have no qualms about going back and playing Exoddus without feeling like I’m retreading my steps. Which is exactly what I’m going to do the second I finish this review.

    I gave this game a 9/10 before, and this update is much of the same. Still amazing in its world building, world design, platforming, NPCI gave this game a 9/10 before, and this update is much of the same. Still amazing in its world building, world design, platforming, NPC interaction, setpieces and story. Still mediocre in its soundtrack, but at least there are less bugs now. I'd still recommend it at any price.… Full Review »

    Oddworld Soulstorm is also a fun game with a good story and an absolutely solid level of challenge. It is visually impressive at times, but technically it is still problematic half a year after launch.
