    one the best rare horror game ever made graphics and light effects still scary today. game camera changes some levels looks like 3rd personone the best rare horror game ever made graphics and light effects still scary today. game camera changes some levels looks like 3rd person some levels more 2d like .one of best level in game zombie town in demo you can play that level .the sound design is more like movie quality those days this is rare in games. follow up games blair witch and bloodrayne never feels same as nocturne did they created alone in the dark new nightmare using noctune engine which is good game but due to late rleased of consoles visualls and effects not a noctune level quality. in 99 nocurne was way better than resident evil 2 and 3 techncly (besides cutscenes) visually sound desing effects animations etc if was better. story every level is kinda x files episode. camera angle sometimes go upside some times goes like movie shot even have fps ir vison too haunt ghost. weapony is decent. dismamberment of eneimes amazing. voice acting best. control like every resident evil style game sluggy but ok. when you look reviews is this game crtisizm odd enough made for changing camera angels which is one best part of game bcosue using this angles combined with sound a scary thing. for ex if the camera angle close to window and if zomibe break window suddenly bcouse of you are so close sound gonna scare you hell. founding this aspect downside of game laughable enough. bcouse of Pc exlusive game and thanks to canceled dreamcast port no one know this game and contune to treat resident evil like king. thats not true at all. of course resident evil from 96 was blast but resident evil 2 and 3 after 1 year close to nocturne cant beat this game at all most aspects. one of the game words butchered game shows how the media review works. setting in intro movies and alone music and using music on action in this game some kinda masterpiece of as 99 game. how we know this game if its below underradar those from everyone thanks to demos cds. game have 3 free demos which kinda genorosty bcouse 15 level on final and of them as mentioned town demosome best level in game and demo is full level. the town demo itself alone 220mb back in the day best demo after quake 3 arena demo which is hard to beat. concousion even today old resident evils or horor games contune to relase but nocturne not on gog or steam anything your best bet demos and big pc box rleases. game have also normal box rleased media called explosive. hard to imagine one of best engines of 99s not supported lef alone a crime. imagine quake engine comes and goes under radar by everyone.… Full Review »
