Jul 21, 2021The PC version is by far the prettiest of the three, but without the original control scheme, it’s hard to recommend over the Switch remaster or even Wii original. If PC is your only option to experience what is otherwise an incredible game, then by all means grab it; just know there are better ways to play No More Heroes.

Jul 16, 2021No More Heroes on the PC is a tough one to rate. On the one hand, the gameplay can feel dated due to the empty open world and the crass nature of it all, along with the roadblocks to slow your ascent to the top; those are the same elements that have made it endearing to those who enjoy the Suda51 game style. On the other hand, the lack of PC options, from graphical tweaking to no keyboard and mouse support, make this feel rather bare-bones. It's still playable, and those who pick it up will have fun, but it could have been so much better.

Oct 18, 2021If you don't care about portability or motion controls, No More Heroes is worth getting on PC despite the port issues. Everyone needs to experience the awesome No More Heroes, but it deserves better than this release that still hasn't completely fixed even months after launch.

CD-ActionSep 1, 2021No More Heroes plays with conventions and puts you on a crazy roller coaster with no safety features. Just like every Grasshopper Manufacture’s game, it’s charmingly absurd, but sadly fails in many gameplay aspects. [09/2021, p.32]

Jun 29, 2021It's Travis who carries this version of No More Heroes, and occasionally makes you forget that you're actually playing what is a rather mediocre port in 2021. Unless you're a mega-fan, I don't see why you should play this version over the Wii one, because it lacks many basic PC-specific improvements you'd expect from a remaster. But mainly, it loses a lot of charm without those motion controls. I can't believe I'm saying this, but maybe it's time for me to pick up a Wii.
