    Nitro Gen Omega is a game that still feels a little rough in its 1.0 release, not being as approachable in its multitude of systems as it could have been. It’s not a bad game per se, but one that demands effort to understand and pull through. Nonetheless, its battle systems and animations shine through to the point it can be worth giving it a try for fans of unique RPGs and simulators.

    NITRO GEN OMEGA is a game about you and your Code Lyoko style crew toughing it out at the end of the world. If you enjoy turn-based anime robot action, you might find that fighting for that end is more engaging than it first appears.

    NITRO GEN OMEGA confirms the talent and courage of DESTINYbit. The Italian studio sets aside traditional formulas to deliver a ‘handcrafted,’ brutal, and magnetic tactical RPG. Although the narrative never truly takes off and some management routines between battles can feel repetitive, the game’s core is a finely polished gem. It is a technical and profound experience that rewards precision and crew synergy, offering one of the most original interpretations of the mecha genre.
