    "Ninja Pizza Girl is a serious game about bullying, emotional resilience – and pizza delivering ninjas! " - it's not a good game though.

    The game is a mixture of runner and a platformer. You are a ninja pizza girl that scales the roofs in order to deliver the pizza within the time given. On the way you need to tackle time, obstacles and enemies. It's all accompanied by some sort of    "Ninja Pizza Girl is a serious game about bullying, emotional resilience – and pizza delivering ninjas! " - it's not a good game though.

    The game is a mixture of runner and a platformer. You are a ninja pizza girl that scales the roofs in order to deliver the pizza within the time given. On the way you need to tackle time, obstacles and enemies. It's all accompanied by some sort of story presented in dialog between the main character and her friends.

    The story is hard to follow. It's presented in a way that made me not really care. And while it might try to talk about bullying and other serious stuff - it couldn't make me care. In order to emphasis the emotional struggles of the main character a mechanic is introduced to take a tea in order to lighten up your mood. A bad mood is indicated by visual cue - everything starts to get darker and gloomy - it's an interesting thing - though found it more annoying than anything else.

    The controls for a runner do not feel good. They feel a bit laggy and not very responsive. The level design is bad as well. The main path is unclear and it seems that falling at any point just forces you to take a different route so you don't feel all that challenged. The various uninspired pickups seem to be placed randomly or just without a sense. The enemies are very repetitive and with just a basic behaviour. Jumping, sliding, wall jumping does not feel good as well - with trampoline jumping being the biggest offender. Overall there's just no fun in playing the game.

    The soundtrack is poor as well. It's a form of dub-step but not very energetic. The visuals look a bit like generic unity assets - a very bland sort of 3D models and environments.

    On the good side though there doesn't seem to be any technical problems with it - but that's as much positivity I can muster for the game.

    Overall I can't recommend it to anyone. The game is just no fun.    … Expand

    It is a simple side-scrolling speedrun game. If you enjoy "only time-attack speedrun", it is fun. But, a bad 3D graphic design and awkward moving were very disappointing. Because of bad translation, the story is not touched. I can't need the desire to challenge for collectible things and mode... It was boring.

    Ninja Pizza Girl will tug on your emotions as it delivers a strong powerful message about adversity and positivity. It may be a simple and short game but it will leave you wanting to replay each level to see if you can beat your existing times, grab more collectables and find alternative paths to finish each level.

    There’s so much to like about Ninja Pizza Girl. We so rarely get to see glimpses into the team behind a game nowadays, but Ninja Pizza Girl just exudes vibrancy from all its edges that it’s impossible not to be charmed by the wonderful people at Disparity Games.

    If you are one of those hipsters of gaming who think that “platformers are not as good as they used to be”, let Ninja Pizza girl teach you a lesson and you know what: Even if you don’t particularly like platformers, you will probably enjoy this game.
