    Peak Singleplayer looter shooter. Excellent story and insane amount of content. One of the best indie games out there.

    Just awesome. One of my favorite shooters of the past decade. Very old school as for it's core shooter mechanics with of twist of RNG diablo-esque looting. The leveling tree is also very unique, requiring various mini-game campaigns mirroring actual games. Such as Mario, Galaga, and even Pokemon! With as long as this game is, I cannot recommend it enough. If you are a fan of old schoolJust awesome. One of my favorite shooters of the past decade.     Nightmare Reaper is a fun albeit unspectacular game. While I find that every aspect is good, or at least serviceable, once I close it I pretty much forget about the game existing at all.

    With an addictive gameplay loop, lots of upgrades and an insane amount of satisfying weapons, Nightmare Reaper is easily one of the best singleplayer shooters of the year.

    Nightmare Reaper is a procedurally generated retro FPS, with fresh levels every time you play. Levels that are of such high quality they often feel deliberately composed, only every now and then giving themselves away with an errant dead end. For the majority of the time, these chunk-based designs are fantastic, and then surrounded by so many clever ideas.

    In the end, Nightmare Reaper is one of those indie games that should be classed as a gem. This is a wonderful labour of love with a lot of character, an addictive title that is happy for players to rip and tear through its nightmare dream to a banging soundtrack and rapturous combat. This is a bloodstained fountain of gratification that only the best daydreams offer.
