    It is EXTREMELY short. Clocking in at only 30 minutes - 1 hour, it may not offer a lot of content, but I am still giving it a pretty high score because it is still a cute prequel to Vol 1, which of course, you should only bother with if you are a fan of Nekopara or want an introduction to the story of Nekopara. (And for all the pervs out there, no, there is no patch or adult version of this one).

    +Great Voice Acting and a lot of VA work
    +Great animations and backgrounds
    +Decent OST
    +A lot of setting options most of which involve voice settings for each individual character, you can lower their voice or raise their voice during scenes
    +English, Chinese and Japanese language support for text
    +Gallery mode which has CGs, music and videos (OP and ED)
    +A new petting gameplay mechanic not seen in the first game, allows you to pet three different places on each character and unlocks an achievement

    Cons
    -Only Japanese voices in the voice acting
    -Kinetic visual novel (only one ending/route)
    -Game is censored, a uncensored patch is available but you would need to pay for it or mod it in
    -Very Short    … Expand

    Honestly, if this was a slightly longer experience this could easily top my expectations of what a gold standard of VNs should be. But, when factoring the length and cost, as well as the main demographic. This is a fanservice game through and through. For better or worse.

    If you are a devoted fan of Nekopara Vol. 1 then there’s little reason not to buy Nekopara Vol. 0. Not only is it far cheaper at the price of $2.99, but it also gives you nearly an hour more with a cast of colorful cat girls. Those brand new to the Nekopara world, or folks who only found the previous game to be okay, shouldn’t bother.
