    The worst NFS, anything you do the game bugs and the worst and they are not funny bugs but bugs that disrupt the gameplay experience. Even the graphics are ugly, not even that saves

    Incomprehensible controls. Unskippable intro. Too much tutorial. The game says "press page up to start the race" but when I press it it does nothing! Horrible game.

    Оптимизация на ПК плоха. Стоит лок на 30 фпс. Графика плоха для своего времени, особенно, сглаживание. Открытый мир пуст и мёртв. В нём нет ничего интересного.

    Игра почти не чем не отличатся от прошлой, такое же ужасное управление машиной как будто ведёшь 20-тонную фуру. Также блокировка на 30 кадров бесит, а и в игре нет паузы и меню вообще допустим вам надо идти в магазин а вы на сложной гонке и что вы будете делать? Разработчики подумали за вас заново проходить гонку классно правда!     The idea of the game is good, you can switch between racer and cop. But its technical aweful.

    Good:
    -world great desinged
    -good graphics (for 2013)

    Bad:
    -30 FPS lock
    -boring missions
    -i often fall through the map
    -bad performance
    -no Long-term motivation

    It's unplayable as a racer because cops are practically everywhere and if you want to do something urgent and need to pause it you can't because of NO PAUSE BUTTON. And a racing game capped without 30fps is a joke(Thanks EA).

    +Open world and soundtracks.
    +Car handling.

    The bad and fugly:

    -Native locked 30 FPS and technical issues with upper mid-range PC.
    -Still broken AI.
    -RPG like speedboost grindfest.
    -Gibberish plot.
    -Limited vehicle roster.
    -Sponge physics (apart from handling).
    -Poor man's Hot Pursuit sequel that doesn't introduce anything new to the table.

    You can turn off the 30fps lock via startup commands but the game is super boring overall.
    Like it ain't a real need for speed man, it's like a mix of flatout and burnout just with pursuits.

    This game actually DOESN'T SUPPORT ANY RACING WHEEL. Wow. How can anyone make a racing game without supporting a racing wheel is beyond me. And I loved the previous Most Wanted by Criterion, even with it's flaws. This game may have a great personality, but is disabled.

    Do not buy (not even on sale). While the gameplay can be fun, it is riddled with bugs.
    PC version of the game regularly locks up (car freezes in place and game must be force closed via task manager), and this is a widespread problem among many many players. Significant number of map issues where cars go airborne for no reason.

It seems to take the worst from all of the previous EA NFS titles and jam them all together! PC gamer gets the game read port with very poor cap of 30 FPS, Very limited graphics settings, NO SLI, no option of adjusting the controls, and a controller rumble that is annoying and can't be turned off, and lastLet me start with saying that I'm a huge NFS fan since the very first PC game.     No that is not even the worst part. Getting disconnected every time you achieve something or crashes which occur frequently, these are the most annoying things about this game. What was EA thinking? Is it In to give People Stuff that doesnt work? Honestly this game is a waste of money.

    ****ty Gamemechanics such as, Crashing into Traffic brings you to a full 10 sec stop, jumping over a ramp and landing outside of the street is also a crash
    - horrible "matchmaking"
    - Outrageous Lag, making driving against other players nearly impossible

    Although there is a working fix for 60FPS (without doubling the speed of the game), this will break the multiplayer. If you encounter other players, who play on 30FPS the game will glitch or even crash. So for single player or playing with friends, who also game on 60FPS, it runs flawlessly. But nevertheless avoid at all costs: A) Impudence of developers to not care    DO NOT BUY!

    Although there is a working fix for 60FPS (without doubling the speed of the game), this will break the multiplayer.
    If you encounter other players, who play on 30FPS the game will glitch or even crash.

    So for single player or playing with friends, who also game on 60FPS, it runs flawlessly. But nevertheless avoid at all costs:

    A) Impudence of developers to not care for proper 60FPS support on PC
    B) There are enough other racing games out there: while having some decent features and gameplay, this game isnt good enough to overcome its flaws.

    - Criterion's hand is felt very much - stupid "crash banner", "ride faster from intersection to intersection" and other useless and boring features from Burnout series

    - cops will start to hunt you for any useless reason and kick your ass in 2-3 touchings... NFSHP2010 had much better Cops VS Racers events

    I've been playing it for around 10h and I can't count the numbers of crashes and host-disconnects that has caused me to have to play the mission again.
    The game is also limited to 30fps but it's really simple to make it run at 60, simply google nfs    This game has the best racing experience I've ever encountered! Though the idea of only allowing multiplayer completely destroys the game.

    +Most intense and epic racing game I've played
    -A LOT of bugs, glitches etc. that causes the game to crash or forces you to restart it.
    -No singleplayer makes it really hard to play longer races because it's really uncommon to end up on a stable server. The disconnects makes you have to replay the race most of the times.    … Expand

    Pain to play on PC - terrible optimisation. My pc can run crysis in 60 fps but in this game I cant get 30 fps! About gameplay: Cops are OP. Its more fun to play as cop then racer. Don't forget this is NFS. You cant pause game in single-player! WTF! Visual tuning is terrible.

    Only thing I liked in this game is driving model.

    EA managed to end the bad run of Need for Speeds released in odd years. But even if it’s the best NFA in a long time, it could have been better. Rivals looks and plays really good but it could use a properly working multiplayer or a real single player mode. And if you remember Most Wanted, Rivals looks quite familiar. [01/2014, p.38]
