    This game is super good maybe even the best in the series. I think that this game is the definitive BEST NFS GAME and that is actually true. I mean it is the most well known nfs game and is it good? HECK YEAH!! Progresion is perfect, the blacklist feature is super good, handling is good and models are good but the best part is the graphics, they are perfect and i do mean PERFECT. truly THEThis game is super good maybe even the best in the series.     Best arcade racing game in last 20 years. Police chases is real adrenaline-fueled experience. Good progression system without 1000 side quests or boring "Smash 30 banners/ladders/etc" achievements. Even after almost 20 years after the release of the game, I periodically install and replay it

    Its criminal this game is not rated higher. This game has everything you want out of an arcade racing game. Its a complete pack of high octane street racing mixed with the action of a movie. The game holds up incredibly well after so many years.     The game has a decent amount of variety when it comes to cars present in the game. They all manage to feel different enough and offer a good variety of tuning options ranging from spoilers to wheels to body kits and more.
    The atmosphere in the game is one of the strongest and remarkable ones in the series. The cities look dirty and the different areas present in the game combine together in a really convincing package. The world feels alive despite of the lack of pedestrians simply because of how much detail is put into the actual world.
    The graphics, although dated by this point, have a great art direction, thus everything blends in extremely well and they only add to the atmosphere the games sets out to present.
    The racing is incredibly well paced managing to be both interesting for newcomers to the racing genre as well as veterans. The game starts you out in a set of races that are incredibly well disguised tutorials. You are first given a really powerful car and are placed against weak opponents. Without realising the game makes sure you understand the basic controls and lets you figure stuff on your own.
    After the tutorial phase of the game you get to pick a slower car as your starter. The more you race the better the opponents become, the more upgrades you unlock, the longer the races and harder the cops.
    The game never overwhelms you and it always gives you time to adapt to the new things such as the nos system or the higher police levels. For a newcomer it really helps them to get used to how the game works.
    The racing element of the game is heavily carried by the responsive handling system. The cars have enough weight but never feel like boats. You always have complete control over the car and the game feels incredibly easy to drive. That does not mean the game is extremely easy but it sure gives you a great starting point to build your skill on top of. It still manages to surpass many racing games that to this day cannot reach the same levels of satisfaction out of the handling model.
    The cop AI is hands down the best one in any racing game. The chases start slowly with the cops trying to respect the traffic rules and adapting their strategies according to your driving. Theres hundreds of dialogue lines that make the chases ever more surreal. This game will give you the adrenaline you seek when engaging in those cop chases.
    This review is already getting too long so I will a few positives bellow
    TLDR:
    -Great atmosphere
    -Amazing unmatched driving
    -Incredible Pursuit AI and fun cop chases
    -Decent story although cheesy at times but good enough to keep you motivated

    For me the game is really but really good the blacklist system is cool but for me the number 15 is a bit too much and the system that you have to beat someone on the blacklist to get better parts partly good but partly not but overall for 2005 graphics very good cutscenes are also nicely done very good game

    This game stands for an exact example of how a high action arcade racing game must be. One of the best 4 games of Need For Speed franchise and number 2 for me.

    This is probably the best nfs ever made and has the Most awsome cop chases in gaming history.
    And of that wasn‘t enough the adaptive music in this Game is perfect. For it‘s time it has so much to offer , like many tuning possibilities, over 30 cars to choose from and amazing bodykits,spoilers,rims etc. I could not sum up the entirety of this masterpiece and have almost no critiqe on this    This is probably the best nfs ever made and has the Most awsome cop chases in gaming history.

    This is an amazing game i higly recommend it it has intense cop chases great music. At high speeds it feels like you can bearly vontrol the car which most games cant get right honestly better than the 2012 version

    Still my favorite NFS to this day. The arcade but grippy gameplay feels good, the story is simple but works and is engaging, the cop chases are challenging and the OST creates a great atmosphere. Almost everything was done right in this game and I hope the next NFS can take inspiration from what made Most Wanted 2005 so good.

    An illegal street racing game where the goal is to win races and escape the police! This game is made for fun, not realism, which is perfectly fine by me. It's technically possible to start with a very generic sedan and upgrade it until it can outrace $200,000 Corvettes and Lamborghini's, which is bonkers. The cutscenes are soooo cheesy and I love them for it. My biggest grievance is thatAn illegal street racing game where the goal is to win races and escape the police!     What i liked as a kid was that you race enemys in the Story (that where actually hard) and then after many tries and tuning your car you could Aquire the Car of the Boss. loved this Feature. Overall good Story, Music and Worlddesign

    Definitely better than Underground but still... I did not like the grind to get to the top. It gets boring after a while. AI is terrible - whenever i have cops on my back during a race, they always chase me and ignore the other racers which puts me on a disadvantage

    the game was my fav back in my childhood! Few weeks back when i was in the car w my friends we played a song and i instinctively said "i used play this song while playing NFS MW" and they replied yeahhhh sameee!!!

    In my opinion, this is the best of the NFS franchise. With an amazing story, great gameplay and great tracks, its a complete gaming experience. Would definitely recommend if you are new to NFS

    One of the best nfs game ever! It got good enough story(for a racing game atleast)gameplay is still solid and these police chases never gets old. Best pursuit system I have ever seen, and it is still unmatched.

    Customization is not deep as ug2 but still good.

    Car handling is really enjoyable and not drift at every turn like recent nfs's.

    Such a classic that still holds up to this day.

    Хорошая игра с тюнингом и хорошим сюжетом, но только меня в игре бесило то что некоторые гонщики из чёрного списка в гонках меня значительно обгоняют хотя у них машины почти в 2 раза слабее моей! И конечно дрэг рейсинг это такая хрень в этой игре просто 1 раз врезался все проиграл ещё надо учитывать что управление в нём очень так себе! There's a reason Ghost Gamers makes it a big deal when influences or references make into new games such as Payback. However, I'm not entirely sure Ghost Gamers themselves fully understand why Most Wanted isNeed For Speed Most Wanted. What is it about this game particular that has inspired so much passion throughout the years? MW seems to be the standard by which every new NFS is judged. There's a reason Ghost Gamers makes it a big deal when influences or references make into new games such as Payback. However, I'm not entirely sure Ghost Gamers themselves fully understand why Most Wanted is revered so lovingly.
    One of my favorite parts of MW is how it establishes presence. It feels like there are unique people with different personalities in each of the cars featured in the game. When a member of the MW pulls up to the starting line, There's a very real pressure that emanates through the player. Maybe it's from the great soundtrack, or maybe it's the culminating from all the hard work. Regardless, MW is filled with personality. it's not entirely present in the world - especially by modern standards- but it's made apparent by its cast.
    New physics engines, gameplay mechanics, and other improvements can make racing games of the past feel inferior from a gameplay perspective but not MW. upon replaying it, I was genuinely surprised at how well the car physics holds up. If anything Most Wanted feels much more weighted and realistic than a lot of modern arcade racers, making the feeling of going over 100 MPH feel that much more exciting and dangerous. Since MW was created before online multiplayer became popular, EA Black Box could take some creative liberties in the gameplay, like adding a slow-motion button that helps the player make tough corners and weave through traffic. also, it looks cool.
    Racing and Customizing are the two sides of the MW coin. It may not be as in-depth as it was in Underground 2, but MW is more subtle, which is saying something, considering it's packed with trivial decals and giant spoilers. While sometimes the in-game officers have to be goaded into a chase to get into the higher heats, once it heats up, it heats up! Rhinos, helicopters, and corvettes will all try to take the player down at intense speeds, creating some of the franchise's most iconic moments. The stakes are high because if the police catch the player too many times, their car is impounded. The personal value in the player's vehicle is one of the most essential parts of the entire game.
    A lot of racing games have focused more on having a collection of vehicles at the player's disposal, while games like MW and U2 focused more on the bond between the player and the vehicle. I know I can't help but feel proud of myself when I get out of the sticky police chases or win tough races against the MW.     Игра очень хорошая, всего 3 минуса - затянутость, вылеты игры при взрыве заправки (на лицензии такое тоже есть, да) и графика на пк (по сравнению с X360 на пк графа такая себе, но решается модами). Музыку подобрали замечательно, особенно запомнилось Disturbed - Decadence, и ещё пару треков. Погони с копами ваще кайф. Compared to the previous part, we have a slightly different car to choose from here, and especially at the end of the game, you will have such fast machines that it is perhaps not even possible. Probably also due to the speed, we have the opportunity to give slow-motion while driving, so that we can somehow control the speed at all. I mentioned the races and the change of city here, but what is the Need for Speed ​​series about? About car tuning, of course. He is here again in all its beauty, but slightly more cut for races. Unfortunately, we no longer have such a choice and it is necessary to choose from the already prepared body-kits. These are beautiful, but here and there I wanted to drive the car myself. In short, I would be lying if I said that there is no tuning, but there is simply not to such an extent and most importantly it is not the main thing of the game. This is only confirmed by the fact that we will no longer find stars on the map, in other words the passages where we had to go somewhere at a certain time to get the cover of the magazine with our car. Most Wanted is mainly about the already mentioned Blacklist, and I come across a novelty about that, and that is the police. Yes, Most Wanted is adding police. It can appear here and there during the races and you have to escape the cops after the race. If you don't, they can even confiscate your car. It must be said that this is not such a problem, because you can get money here quite easily, because you can repeat the races and thus constantly farm the game currency. Despite that, the police are paradoxically the biggest minus of the game, because mainly at the end they can or at least bothered me a lot, because you have to get, as I mentioned, a large enough bounty to be able to finish the game. In short, I wanted to race and tune, as is known at Need for Speed, and not bother with any police. However, all this will end and I will tell you that it is worth it, because the final of the game is unreal and I have not seen a better end to the racing game. I enjoyed every second, the vast customizations of cars are **** brilliant, and I miss stuff like this since now everything is locked behind micro-transactions. I loved the cringy 2000's acting. Геймплей, кроме как ураганным, больше ни как охарактеризовать не могу. Это лучшие погони, что игровая индустрия когда-либо дарила. Про саундтрек даже говорить что-то нет смыла, он просто потрясащий, а треки оттуда до сих пор находятся в моих плейлистах. Игра полностью прошла мою проверку временем. Это шедевр, особенно на фоне очень слабых современных NFS.

    P.S: Я конечно многого не понимаю, и возможно рыночек такое не примет, но для меня загадка, почему EA до сих пор не сделали ремастер и прямое сюжетное продолжение (имеется ввиду продолжение уже NFS: Carbon, ибо сюжет MW продолжался именно там). Как по мне, это был бы настоящий взрыв, и NFS-комьюнити дружно оргазмировало в унисон уже только с одного анонса подобного проекта.    … Expand

    Це найкрутіше частина серії need for speed, a також одна з найкращих ігор про перегони. І мабуть найкраща про аркадні перегони в стилі "поліція проти вуличних гонщиків". Класний сюжет, стилістика, саундтрек, зручне керування...

    This game is unique, In my opinion this game has the best Engine sound effect ever and the cops AI is pretty good. I played this game first on Original Xbox and then on PC. my favorite NFS of all time!! I still playing this game :)

    The same guys who made Underground 1 and u will notice it in the Gameplay and Soundtrack. Most Wanted 2005 strengths are the Game Speed and Police for sure. Together with Underground 1 and 2 the best 3 NFS Games. I just wish that Most Wanted had better and more tuning parts and instead of Time Races maybe Drifts or something more existing.

Os gráficos estão ótimos, o mapa é muito bom por mais que tenha algumas pontas de parede saindo pra fora e que podem prender o seu carro, controles são totalmenteDiferente de seu antecessor, este game é cheio de ação em uma atmosfera um tanto quanto...     One of my all time favorite games of all time! Gameplay is so fun when you're at +300km/h while the cops are chasing you and the only thing you feel is SPEED. The soundtrack is just amazing and the graphics still look great. I'll never stop playing this game.

    My all-time favourite NFS! The driving experience is awesome, you have an open world where you can drive around and those pursuits are always fun. The Blacklist thing is one of a kind! You can tune your cars into supercars.. man this is the racing game of the 2000s everybody loved back then.

    Most Wanted is my favourite Need For Speed and I have played it many times, but have never managed to complete the final pursuit. The story isn't very complex, but it's enough to make the struggle of the protagonist near-personal for the player.

    The story is really engaging, the race is fun, the chase is great--it gave you many options in how to cut down the police cars that chases you.     Dumb, but oddly fun history, amazing soundtrack, gourgeous graphics, even for 2020. Signature BMW M3 GTR. Best Need For Speed Ever and one of the best racing games ever.

    The nod back to the cop chase mechanics of the Hot Pursuit games is certainly welcome, plus it's interesting to see that the vaunted "open" gameplay of the last two games has been dialed down by a more forcibly linear structure to keep things interesting.
