    Aunque parezca raro siento después de mucho tiempo que me gusta un NFS. Tiene sus falencias mas que nada al entrar en persecución, ese creo es su punto mas flojo

    En temas de rendimiento es lo peor que hay. en tema de tunear, autos, variedad es bueno, pero el rendimiento es lamentable.

    After playing unbound, safe to say that my gaming experience is better with heat. I feel like unbound is a cheap copy of heat.

    First: why devs thought that would be cool to make the car drift-steering all? Really? I mean, drifting is cool, I know. But why would drift in a circuit race. You are literally losing precious seconds down there. Just that kills the game for me, so annoying. Second: absolutely piece of crappy music. Too generic, please, give us the good and    absolutely don't worth your time at all.

    If you are looking for a game similar of what Forza Horizon is, you came to the wrong place, pal.

    at first the game started off slow but once i started to get used to the game and how it worked i was quickly hooked and i loved it up untill the post game which was a huge letdown as i was forced to grind for all the cars i really wanted and i just kind of gave up once unbound was announced and i found out they had the same roster

    Honestly the best instalment in a long time, Hot pursuit was probably the last time I enjoyed any NFS game, Heat offers a balanced gameplay that merges both Sim and Arcade into one flawless component, the entire city feels alive and ambient, night time is my favourite, The graphics are incredible, the UI is simple and eye-catching, the only negative point was the lack of cars, I mean aHonestly the best instalment in a long time, Hot pursuit was probably the last time I enjoyed any NFS game, Heat offers a balanced gameplay that merges both Sim and Arcade into one flawless component, the entire city feels alive and ambient, night time is my favourite, The graphics are incredible, the UI is simple and eye-catching, the only negative point was the lack of cars, I mean a racing game with only 120-ish cars ?     damn it made fun the police chases where very action gaining! but some of the repetitive challanges
    went boring with the time, but after 40 hours i think for my first real RACING game it was a good start!!!

    Not worth even with 95% discount. Deleted after 1st race. Controls awful and crap in garage like - you must buy deluxe edition to own this car, you must buy preorder edition to own this car. No plot just - hey you must make your reputation to be cool...

Полное отсутствие людей, постоянно мешает полиция. Управлять машиной не удобно и не комфортно! Да это лучше, чем Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered, но все равно это полная халтура.     I quite enjoy the gameplay, comparing to forza horizon 5. It is much more enjoyable for playing it because it has more things to unlock, police cars chase, etc. The cars in this game can perform differently if I apply different parts. Unlike forza horizon 5, I get the best car, tune it to 10 on most parts, thats it. I can use it in my entire gameplay to go through the content, because itI quite enjoy the gameplay, comparing to forza horizon 5.     В принципе хорошая. Не симулятор конечно, в shift 2 и prostreet мне нравилось больше. Дрифт как по мне слишком лёгким получился. Даже за самые короткие заезды я получаю по 100-350к очков (состязания не в счёт ибо есть состязания где и 15к получать это целое событие). Остальное неплохое. 6,5/10
    Сюжет.
    Такое себе. Вся лажа в сюжете происходит только по тому, что Ана придумывает хуйню, а гг молча, как болванчик, ей поддакивает и за ней следует. Если была бы возможность выбора в миссиях сюжет, как по мне был бы лучше. Закончился сюжет, как по мне странно. Тип не понятно, что нам дала эта Лига. Я считаю, что в сюжете что-то получила только Торрес. Она скинула Мёрсера и получила звание, а тима гг так и осталась ни с чем, что с Мёрсером, что с Торрес. 6/10
    Графика.
    Хорошая но местами мне не нравиться цветовая гамма. 7/10
    Автопарк и тюнинг
    Тюнинг я считаю лучшим среди последних нфс (начиная с The Run). По кол-во машин не Forza Horizon 4 конечно, но их достаточно. 8,5/10
    Карта.
    Верх и низ карты хорошие, но цент можно было вырезать игра бы ничего не потеряла бы или сделать центр просто плоским, без гор, чтобы можно было разогнать машину на максимум. 7/10
    Музыка.
    Не шедевр, но некоторые треки заслуживают внимания. 7,5/10    … Expand

    I have steering wheel Logitech G923, game does not support that, but you can use it anyway (without clutch, many bindings etc.). Game has drift mechanic which on my wheel is just completely terrible and impossible to do(I had to do story drift quest on keyboard).     The Story is Filler. The Game itself halfway optimized for Pc but has good Visuals, the Tuning works fine and the City looks nice but doesent really feel big and alive.

    This game is so amazing, and I absolutely love it. It had decent physics, amazing graphics and the one feature that mostly stands out, Ultra rice mode. By that, I mean that you can customize cars with ANY type of body kit you want. Plus, You can literally ENGINE SWAP hypercars. Like imagine a Ferrari hypercar swapped with an SUV'S V8 engine. It would be so cool and funny at the same time.This game is so amazing, and I absolutely love it. It had decent physics, amazing graphics and the one feature that mostly stands out, Ultra rice mode.     Скучная гриндилка без сюжета
    В целом грустно понимать что НФС скатывается с каждой игрой
    Ездить вроде как классно, но понимаешь что тебе надо гриндить запчасти, ибо с недобором ты не можешь никого догнать как бы ты не старался, а с перебором тебе никто не соперник Просто спасибо за визуал и разнообразие машин    Скучная гриндилка без сюжета

    NFS Heat shows a similar problem to me like NFS Payback: the story is no good.
    The NFS Franchise has still a lot of potential - arcade racing is fine - but a better story with serious RPG elements is required.

    Сюжет очень короткий и прям никакущий, графика не поменялась, несколько треков годных имеется, а в целом один реп. Собирать трофей и задания выполнять не интересно.

    NFS series is dying ! nfs was my most favorite game series in my childhood but now they're ruining all the fun .
    This game is poorly optimized . Denuvo sucks all the CPU power for it's drm & my CPU gets to 99 % reducing the game performance.
    The story in this game is very very bad ! Roads are empty like they were in lockdowns. I gave 1 star just for the cars , NFS name and to encourage    NFS series is dying ! nfs was my most favorite game series in my childhood but now they're ruining all the fun .

    (after 28 hours of playing & completing the game)

    A typical corporate product. Everyone is ugly, uninteresting and trying to be forcefully cool. Very arcade, average driving model. Poor plot

Днем очень много гринда денег чтоб купить апгрейды для машины! А если вы любитель покупать много машин то прийдётся много гриндить!!!     -Музыка самая отстойная в серии.....у меня есть спец плей лист где собрана музыка из всех частей NFS начиная с NFS 5 Porshe!!!(с удаленными треками которые мне не нравятся, не могут же все нравится)))) Так вот, в NFS Heat меньше всего треков которые мне понравились по сравнению с остальными частями! Это латиноамериканская муза на любителя и не подходит к происходящему на экране! Конечно есть треки хорошие, бодрые и заводные но очень мало!!!
    Плюсы перевесили минусы:
    + Отличная мотивация участвовать в онлайн заездах других игроков и приглашать на свои заезды всех т.к при гонке хотя бы с одним живым игроком действует бонус 40% к заработанным деньгам днем и репутации ночью! Даже если вас все игроки обгонят вы всё равно будете в большом плюсе! Я постоянно гонялся с другими игроками! В начале игры это очень помогает!
    + Хороший разнообразный тюнинг! Часами сидел в гараже и ковырялся с машинами делая из них пушку-гонку!)))
    + Неплохая графика но только в ночных заездах(в дневных заездах думаешь что настройки графики снизились!:-D)
    + Ночные погони крутые! В максимальном розыске удрать от копов реальная проблема! Особенно если у вас медленная машина(с копами на максимальном уровне розыска гоняться лучше с уровнем машины 300+) В игре нет явных способов ухода от полиции как например в Most Wanted 2005(за исключением водички но это недоработка разрабов без которой было бы жестко совсем))) У меня было пару адреналиновых погонь в которых я чудом скрывался на последнем издыхании с улучшениями прочности, потратив все возможные ремонты!!! Отбив по эмоциям те деньги что я на игру потратил на распродаже!! За полный прайс NFS Heat к сожалению не стоит своих денег!
    По итогу спорная часть NFS получилась! В общем она не хорошая и не плохая.... NFS Heat НОРМАЛЬНАЯ!    … Expand

    Fun to play. A lot of grinding though. Don't know why but I feel like there is something missing in the plot. Cars could be extended (lots of them missing). But in overall it is really nice to get when on promotion

Drift physics sucks, I cant remap keybindings on my controller, I cant use my E-brake, I cant use reverse on my shift knob, AUTOMATIC CLUTCH ON MANUAL MODE?!?! Completely destroyed my love for NFS. If you're a PC player and use a sim setup, don't bother getting this game. Controllers are fine but weird comparedAs a sim player, this is by far the worst gameplay for NFS out of all of them.     All right. I'll start with the good stuff.
    Tunning options: This is the biggest strength of this game in my opinion. There are very many modifications from spoilers to underbody lighting to modifying the exhaust sound. This combined with the licenses of many brands like Brembo and co is just awesome and it's really fun to tune your car simply because there are so many possibilities.
    So    All right. I'll start with the good stuff.
    Tunning options: This is the biggest strength of this game in my opinion. There are very many modifications from spoilers to underbody lighting to modifying the exhaust sound. This combined with the licenses of many brands like Brembo and co is just awesome and it's really fun to tune your car simply because there are so many possibilities.

    So and that is it in my opinion already with the good stuff. Now for the bad

    Graphics: Permanently there are bugs and co and generally the game is not really diverse here. Before each race there is the same cut scene, that could have been done better.

    Multiplayer & Server: Here I can not say much except that it is really just really bad. There is a permanent message that the server will be shut down soon and sometimes you are kicked out of the online mode. If you want to race against other players, the first difficulty is to find someone. When this happens, skill doesn't matter anymore because whoever has the car with more power wins automatically unless he's really stupid. Too bad it could have been done so much better.

    Handling: The worst thing in my opinion is the drift behavior of the car. It is simply bad. It doesn't really matter which car you drive as long as the engine performance is good, you can drift with any car. You don't notice any difference between RWD & FWD & AWD. This should be present even in an arcade game like NFS Heat. Bad job EA!

    Speed: 300mph+ are no problem. Of course NFS Heat is not a simulation but it should be at least a little bit realistic. What EA has delivered here is really just missing the reality.

    Story:
    It is just monotonous and boring. It's not really fun and fortunately it's not long either. Then you don't have to spend too long with it. In the end you get a BMW that is much faster than everything else in the story, but when you get it yourself it is slow as a snail. What EA calls missions or so is neither challenging nor entertaining. The crash missions are the most pointless thing ever, because you take more damage than you deal and so you would lose automatically, but the AIs you are supposed to crash partly destroy each other.

    Police: Police chases are without a doubt part of NFS, but they are also so bad and not balanced at all. In principle there are a few spots where you just drive around and then you lose the cops automatically because they simply destroy themselves or are just too stupid.

    Small details: There is no first person perspective, you can't open or close the tops of roadsters and so on. Such small details would have been really great but EA has probably saved on the budget.

    In addition, the development was discontinued and all bugs and money glitches will probably remain forever.

    At the end of the day, these are not even all the problems of this game. Don't buy the game no matter how cheap it is. Free would still be too expensive. A score of 2 for the tunning.    … Expand

    Police are psychotic and will drive full blast into a head-on collision with you down the freeway.
    On top of that you can only take a few measly hits before you're totalled so you are just constantly going to and from petrol stations to heal.. and then you'll need to find a jump of some sort to evade them as EVERY cop car will be able overtake you no matter how tuned up your car is.

    The police chases very quickly spiral into something no living sane person can escape from leading to you losing all of your hard work. Of course that is the point but it can easily be down to reasons out of your control. A bit more health/survivability could be given to you imo.

    The graphics are nice, however I found it difficult sometimes to make out where the track even is in the built-up areas as it's TOO pretty and dreamy. The track markings can blur into the surroundings and sometimes even the mini-map is not completely clear about where the turning is.

    Customization is OK. But navigating through the selection of items is painstaking, with a controller at least.

    Физика - 3/10 - хуже чем в пейбек, и тем более чем в пятнажке. Деревья и столбы и СУКA БЕТОННЫЕ СТЕНЫ как ни в чём ни бывало. Я конечно понимаю аркада, но не настолько. Система дривна просто уже, в этой игре самый худший дрифт за всю серию нфс. Скорость вообще не почувствовал, не знаю как это описать

    Музыка 3/10 - ужасная музыка, 80 процентов которой вообще не подходит под гонки, + нет рока композиции. Муызка создаёт атмосферу, следовательно здесь и не пахнет ей. Хоть бы сделали так, чтобы я мог ночную музыку поставить днем, но они даже этого не сделали. В гонках днем ваще 5 треков всего.
    Сюжет 3/10 - единственная игра, где мне было АБСОЛЮТНО ВСЕ РАВНО НА ГЕРОЕВ, он сырой, кринжовый, нету нормальных сюжетных миссий, как в Payback например. "Какая нахрен команда, вы мне ваще не всарались бл**ь"
    Кол-во автомобилей, тюнинг, прокачка и тп - 9/10. Пожалуй ,единственный плюс игры. Впервые в нфс столько машин, 100+, большинство из которых добротно модифицируются. ДА здесь даже звук выхлопа можно поменять, где такое видано??? Персонажа тоже можно одеть , при чём в БРЕНДОВЫЕ ШМОТКИ, это ваще отвал бошки, мелочь, а приятно. Единственный минус чисто для меня, нельзя отрегулировать машину, как в нфс 2015, ну впрочем здесь столько подвесок, шин и диффов, так что отрегулировать под себя можно таким образом
    Геймплей - 6/10 - довольно скучноватый, игра не предоставляет стимула играть дальше

Yeah, you can drive to the gas station and your car will be repaired like 2 or 3 times. But that's still not enough. Forget the NFS:MW experience! No fun for you! I stopped playing this game once I got to level 5. In Night mode I had 5 cops chase me in my Evo, cops crashed me into a wall (I couldn't reverse somehow) and I lost all my REP. Somehow EA thought it was a great idea to give cops NOS? How does that make sense?

    After reaching level 5 and losing all my REP that I earned in Night mode, I told myself let me do this again, but I couldn't. I just don't have an satisfaction in doing it all over again. I don't mind if we lost money when we got Busted, but our RP in order to level up? Seems a bit too much. Maybe tie that mechanic to Hard mode, not Medium. Heat is trying to be too many games in one. I feel like it's trying to be like The Crew 2, Forza Horizon and Grid all in one. The concept is nice although the execution of the idea was horrible.

    Need for Speed Heat is the same as in previous years, drift around a corner in order to catch up... If you don't you will lose speed and lose the race. I don't understand what Game Designer or Creative Director thinks drifting is still "hot." No one wants to drift 24/7 in arcade racing games. Give us actual racing games. Stop it EA, this isn't Mario Kart.

    Please EA, adopt what Rockstar Games had. Bring back Midnight Club style racing. That kind of racing style, bring that and people will flock to your racing games. But sadly, EA doesn't understand this. A huge market is there for arcade racing games, and Xbox has it in the bag at the moment.

    Pros:
    - A fictional Miami (although not accurate)
    - Night (not the actual mode itself)
    - Music
    - Graphics
    - Car selection
    - Customization

    Cons:
    - The fictional Miami is lackluster with no AI pedestrians and a lack of AI cars. Nothing draws you into the city wanting you to come back to the game or just roam freely.
    - Drifting
    - Going 200 MPH feels like the car is going 40 MPH.

    Whoever was the Game Designer or Creative Director on this game ruined this game, it had potential but it became The Crew 2 with the same handling mechanics.    … Expand

    NFS Heat is a somewhat more modern version of NFS Undercover. It is open-world, with various collectibles and activities like drifts, jumps and speedtraps that you'd expect from a standard open-world game nowadays. It's also got a story mode, which is bog-standard and nothing special. There's also a decent choice of cars in terms of variety (for a Need for Speed game anyway), with a goodNFS Heat is a somewhat more modern version of NFS Undercover. It is open-world, with various collectibles and activities like drifts, jumps and speedtraps that you'd expect from a standard open-world game nowadays. It's also got a story mode, which is bog-standard and nothing special. There's also a decent choice of cars in terms of variety (for a Need for Speed game anyway), with a good customisation system. The driving mechanic is centred on a 2-dimensional scale: On-Road vs Off-Road and Drift vs Race. Upgrade parts allow you to tailor any car to be anywhere on this graph. That's about as complex as it gets, which for an arcade racer is fine, but if you play serious racing games the handling is a complete joke; though it's a nice change I suppose.

    The game is basically structured as an RPG, where to upgrade your car with the best parts and get higher-tier cars, you need to level up and gain "Rep"; the currency earned from night-time driving. Cash is best earned during daytime races, where there are no police to worry about. Whilst this is fine in theory, in practice cash is almost useless, since it's much easier to earn than rep, especially early on. The game is severely imbalanced because early on it's much harder at night as you don't have fast cars but the police do, and it's very easy to get your Heat level up to a point where it's impossible to escape without using glitches. Later on once you've maxed your car, it becomes trivial. Unfortunately, the police chases are the worst aspect in this game; the AI is horrible and it's mostly rubber-banding, and I don't recall a single time when a spike strip hit me. It's just inconsistent and random, which takes away a huge aspect of what an NFS game should be like. This is very far from being 2005's Most Wanted.

    Another huge problem is that races are not restricted by performance tier; the top tier is 400+ and bottom is 100. But nothing stops you from entering a 120 event with a 380 performance level, for example. This basically means newcomers who choose to do events against other players instead of the AI are severely disadvantaged; this is more a game of grind rather than skill. They really ought to have placed restrictions on events.

    The game is also poorly optimised. It is by far the most demanding racing game I've played, and also one of the worst looking. The car models and especially characters lack the level of detail you'd expect from a modern game, especially one that's so demanding, and there really isn't anything spectacular about the graphics; it's all a bit of an acid trip at night with lots of colour but not very high quality.

    Something else that's inexcusable is the fact that you can't change the controls when playing with a controller: forget rebinds, there aren't even presets! And although there is an option to play with manual gearbox, the shift up and down buttons conflict with interactions, so it's a pointless option. Clearly this game was rushed, judging also by the number of glitches which remain many months after launch.

    There is only one redeeming feature of this game, which is why it's not getting a lower rating: the cross-platform play. I started playing this game after that update (and precisely for that reason), and it's something that I hope future NFS games (and hopefully other racing games) incorporate.

    In conclusion, NFS Heat is built on a solid blueprint, but executed poorly. It was a rushed game and it could be a very good NFS game with a few tweaks, but when you compound together all of the major issues, it's difficult to recommend.    … Expand

    As far as Need for Speed games go this is the best one to date. It has beautiful graphics and you feel like you are going insanely fast. The handling of the cars is excellent and the drifting mechanic is pretty simple. The story is really cheeseball it definitely won't have characters you remember like Most Wanted. One of the biggest problems I have with this game is the visuals. The game looks TERRIBLE for a game that was released in 2019. There is this grain effect that you can't turn off that makes the game look bad, I wasIt's an okay racing game. Too arcade for me personally. I really like the customization. The textures look absolutely terrible (except on the car) every sign, clothing, shoes, flags, everything is pixelated when playing on the HIGH PRESET. It's absolutely insane how bad this game looks. The controls are okay but driving feels clunky and stiff. For me personally, the best driving experience is still from Forza games and this game (Need for Speed games in general) can't come close to Forza. I regret spending money on this game and will refund it soon. The last time I played a good NFS game was payback. As I said the game looks absolutely terrible and the driving is pretty awful, the drifting is unsatisfying and I could go on.

    This game has the worst graphics of all and was not optimised for pc at all. Getting only 20-30 fps. Sometimes bushes and foilage aren’t processed at all instead of leaves are all boxy. Game has no story just racing like last 2-3 installments. Last game from nfs was worth buying was nfs run.

    Altro aspetto che personalmente mi sta a cuore è il ritorno di una trama abbastanza importante ai fini del gameplay e personaggi che, anche se ci riescono solo in parte, cercano di essere iconici e abbastanza riconoscibili.
    Questo aspetto è stato pressoché assente dopo Carbon ma secondo me è un aspetto importantissimo perchè giustifica tutte le azioni senza appiattirle a semplici gare da vincere, anzi creando a volte modelli di riferimento (come la celebre BMW M3 di Most Wanted o la Nissan 350Z di Underground 2). L'unico problema è che la EA ha aspettato davvero troppo per rimettersi in carreggiata e questo può aver compromesso l'opinione pubblica sulla serie, oltre ad aver fatto cambiare il pubblico che lo apprezza.

    Dal punto di vista del gameplay invece si ha una guidabilità ottima, arcade ma in cui si percepisce il peso e la fisicità delle auto rendendolo quindi semplice nei controlli ma appagante nel risultato.
    Ottimo parco auto, buona dimensione della mappa anche se non troppo varia, finalmente una buona personalizzazione estetica (oltre che meccanica) dei veicoli e presenza della polizia, cui non sono fan ma permette di diversificare il gameplay.

    A questo aggiungo quello che veramente mi ha colpito del gioco.
    Questo infatti è sviluppato in due fasi, il giorno e la notte, che ci metteranno di fronte a corse di auto legali e altamente remunerative di giorno oppure a corse illegali che aumentano l'esperienza di notte.
    Questo dualismo è davvero interessante e permette di progredire in maniera varia ed omogenea.
    Inoltre, è una cosa semplice ma sempre piacevole, sono presenti piccole sfide e oggetti collezionabili in giro per la mappa e questo ci costringerà ad esplorarla per ottenere delle ricompense.

    Una nota negativa è che secondo me il gioco in single player dura troppo poco e il sistema di sblocco delle auto è basato sul multiplayer. Questo garantisce una progressione anche per molto tempo dopo che si è finita la storia, ed è una cosa positiva, ma allo stesso tempo porta a finire questa in maniera troppo facile dato che supereremo facilmente le specifiche minime consigliate per vincere le gare.

    Infine l'ampio parco auto è un po' fine a sé stesso in quanto molti veicoli sono inutili ai fini competitivi, come ad esempio tutte le auto d'epoca (nettamente inferiori e senza neanche gare dedicate, che avrei apprezzato).

    Per concludere è un ottimo gioco, finalmente un Need for Speed con spunti interessanti dopo tanti anni a rincorrere uno stile quasi da action movie che aveva snaturato la serie e fatto perdere caratteristiche utili per rendere il gioco divertente anche nel lungo periodo.

    So, I wanted to like the game, but analyzing the single player experience (which is the one I was looking for) made me see how shallow it was. Bad story (if we can even call it an actual story), lack of meaningful actions and some tedious grinding. Maybe it's good as a multiplayer game, and the driving feels... ok, I guess? but that's about it I can give to this game.

    This is the first NFS game I've played in a long time. I could say that the cosmetic customization is great. The cosmetic customization is really great and if you like making your car look unique, than you will love the cosmetic customization. The story was ok, the game has a short story which kinda sucks.     I'm putting a 10 because of all the edgelords putting zero. It's a solid 7.5. Easly the best NFS I've played since hot pursuit. It's arcadish and I like arcade racing. If you don't go play Assetto or forza. Lot's of cars, fun tuning with great customization options. Pretty game. I think they may have improved the chases as I find it relatively easy to evade the police in my current starterI'm putting a 10 because of all the edgelords putting zero. It's a solid 7.5.     Очень приятная графика, супер затягивающий сюжет, овер дофига классных тачек и неплохие саундтреки. Звуки, разрушаемость, атмосфера - все впечатляет в этой игре. Локация тоже неплохая, интересно исследовать, гонять по ней, еще есть немало красивых мест. Физика очень сильно понравилась, напоминает чем-то андеграунд 2.

    This franchise have to make a serious change in everything. The competence is hitting hard and this game is not at the level of other racing/arcade games. If you are looking a good need for speed with an air of underground like the ps2 ones, this is not one. Not recommended.

    the graphics and optimization on pc are terrible the whole image is ghostly the sun is too bright only night graphics are good I had to use reshade to make it tolerable

    Pretty awful effort here. The driving itself is pretty good, but that's where the "good" ends. The environments look unbelievably awful for a 2019 game. Especially when compared to other racing games such as Forza 4 which is a full year older but somehow manages to look 100x better. The character models are straight up out of a ps2 game. It hurts the eyes. The story and voice acting isPretty awful effort here. The driving itself is pretty good, but that's where the "good" ends. The environments look unbelievably awful for a 2019 game. Especially when compared to other racing games such as Forza 4 which is a full year older but somehow manages to look 100x better.     Police has the most annoying rubber-banding ever. On top of that, nothing in the game tells you how to get police off your tail in this game. In MW it was special destructible areas, marked on the map. Here, I spent solid three hours with police cars gangraping me on heat lvl 2. I gave up and googled, and apparently you have to lead them to bridges now - again, nothing tells you this in game. In addition, once police chase starts, game pulls off an invisible timer - even if you are driving in a high speed, so result is comical situations like you escaping police and getting busted a second after.

    In-game characters are beyond ugly, they are terrifying. I get that it is a racing game, but fma, I want to vomit each time a cutscene comes up. Campaign has weird missions (both gameplay and storytelling-wise).

    Such a shame, because this games drives much better than last two. They were very close to make driving feel good. Physics/driving is not as good as lets say, Driveclub or Forza, but is enjoyable too.    … Expand

    This game doesn't run. EA can't find a solution, i spent 5 hours with them to find a solution. I know the problem, they force DolbyVision and it doesn't work. But EA doesn't do anything... Unplayable game, bad move EA...

    I want to be very clear. I made an account just to review this game. I apologize if it's confusing, but you're also getting the ramblings of someone who grew up playing Need for Speed Underground, Underground 2, Most Wanted, and Carbon. I didn't touch the series again until 2012, when I bought the remake of Most Wanted for like 10 bucks. I returned to the series (and was an active memberI want to be very clear. I made an account just to review this game. I apologize if it's confusing, but you're also getting the ramblings of someone who grew up playing Need for Speed Underground, Underground 2, Most Wanted, and Carbon. I didn't touch the series again until 2012, when I bought the remake of Most Wanted for like 10 bucks. I returned to the series (and was an active member in the Need For Speed community) when the self-titled 2015 reboot that Ghost Games made was announced and released.
    I bought 2015, and while I appreciated the customization capabilities and what they game did, I found the handling pitiful, the gameplay very unrewarding, and ultimately pointless; everything was so expensive, but races gave me so little money. I had to do like three races just to get a Rocket Bunny kit. As someone who pretty much exclusively drives Japanese cars, this upset me. My BRZ looked the same as everyone elses.
    I bought Payback way after the release date, and while I found the Speed Card crap irritating, I found the gameplay incredibly fun and rewarding, and actually found the story of the game to be quite interesting, enough to make me want a story sequel to that game.
    So, now that we have my biases out of the way, Need For Speed: Heat.
    This game is fantastic. The driving and handling in this game, from all 100 hours I've played and in all the cars I've tested, is fantastic. Cars feel like they should. If they're heavy, they feel heavy. If they're light, they feel light. Each car is unique, and has it's own unique tendencies. A full drift build RX-7 does not feel the same as a full drift build 240Z, or a full drift build Mustang. A full grip build Mustang will NOT outcorner a full grip build Ferrari F40. They're all unique, and each car has it's own purposes. You can attempt to tailor the car to what you want it to do, but it might not be as good as other cars that are specifically built for that event. Going 200 mph in this game is bowel-loosening, and more so in cars that were not meant to go that fast; 200 in a Ferrari is quick, but 200 in a 1969 Dodge Charger is TERRIFYING.
    The cops are... strange. Initially, they were impossible. So much so that I legitimately refused to do night races for a while, and just did daytime challenges to earn rep (the game's form of experience) instead. But... then I got an Evo X. I don't know if the Evo X is secretly a jesus car, or maybe if I'm just particularly good with it, but cops could not keep up with me. I would hit fourth gear, and start flying past cops. It was insane. But, when they got to a higher level as well to keep up with my car, this game truly started to shine: the cops were trying to pit me, use rolling roadblocks, box me in so that a heavy hitting Rhino could have a head-on collision with my car. It was intense. Getting my car back up to speed again, I was able to start fending a few of the cops off, while sacrificing a fraction of my own health to ensure that the cop stayed down. The risk and reward throughout the game was very enticing, and encouraged me to both play more and try and push myself to do more challenging events and get in more intense pursuits, despite the occasional absurdity of the AI, both police and street racer.
    Speaking of racers, I dunno how to rank them. Some people have had challenges like where the car in first is just insanely faster than you and you just cannot catch up at all, but every time I did a circuit race, I often ended up lapping at least 3 other drivers. I can honestly say I don't think I did a single race without either lapping or having a minimum of a mile lead.
    Music in this game is trash, personally. There are a few songs that fit (and a few personal faves, like el Diablo), but for the most part it's just trendy trap rap. If you like it, fine, but I don't. I just listen to my Spotify playlist.
    And, my final point. Customization. Dios mio, the customization. If you played Payback, or 2015, it's similar, but even better. Unlike those games, where certain parts were locked behind experience walls, or crappy forced interactions with the world, you just... do. You craft cars into your own personal works of art. Different performance parts (these, unfortunately, are locked by experience walls) allow you to not only create unique cars visually, but mechanically. It's not just anyone's Porsche at the starting line; it's YOUR Porsche.
    What Need for Speed: Heat did wasn't necessarily original. In essence, it's a blend of the features from their previous Need For Speed titles. The risk & reward system from Rivals, the customization from their 2015 reboot, and the improved handling & physics from Payback. It hasn't done anything new. Ghost just let us off the leash, and let us go crazy. And I think they deserve all the credit in the world for that.
    Also, there's gonna be car packs and a map unlocker DLC. That's it.
    So, if you like street racing games, and miss Most Wanted or Carbon,
    Buy this game.    … Expand

    The rest is just RP farm during the night, $$ farm during the day. No leader-board to get up in rank in the day races / Showdown, no underground ranking list (blacklist?) to be the best outlaw racer... no "Part 2" of the story, just that you catch the bad guy and done.

    It's basically an open world Ryse: Son of Rome where there are multiple mechanics to experience but you only do so a couple of times when in fact you could do them multiple times (in separate missions) and add value to the game.

    Buy it at your own risk, the game is Incredibly short. The game-play is solid, the night chase could be frustrating if you get caught (you lose a lot of money, not just your night RP gained) and the day time racing is OK-ish.

Also, the car handling is really bad, it feels like playing on your smartphone! The Level Design is good, but the graphics quality and the lighting are soooo ugly! The only thing that really bugs me and annoys me every time are the fccking cops - they keep up with you regardless of what car you are driving also they spawn randomly infront or behind you. They are just meant to be exhausting for no obvious reason. Not sure who on EU's side came up with that stupid idea.

    If you didn't play the last couple NFS Games after Most Wanted 2012 you'll be pretty well off with this one. Im actually enjoying it as long as the cops don't cheat.    … Expand

Only 1 white guy to choose from, but a lot of black monkeys, the music for some reason in general is all straight from Mexico with no single track to play, for CB music I only want to eat burritos. !! 0 10 just **** the game!

    Игра мне дико зашла но есть и свои минусы конечно ест однообразные гонки по типу кольцевые но если это происходит ночью то за этим приятно наблюдать за неоновыми фонарями которые почти на каждом углу.Днём другая ситуация гонки очень скучные и однообразные но всё таки иногда приятно смотреть на растительность за городом,но если это происходит в городе то извините он очень пуст.Но есть иИгра мне дико зашла но есть и свои минусы конечно ест однообразные гонки по типу кольцевые но если это происходит ночью то за этим приятно наблюдать за неоновыми фонарями которые почти на каждом углу.Днём другая ситуация гонки очень скучные и однообразные но всё таки иногда приятно смотреть на растительность за городом,но если это происходит в городе то извините он очень пуст.Но есть и свои плюсы,очень большой авто парк,разнообразный тюнинг,огромный открытый мир,также есть разные машины из прошлых частей NFS.Но как по мне самый большой плюс это полиция,здесь она прям пипец какая сложная,мне вот порой кажется если взять другие части NFS то в Heat здесь полиция прям псы они тебя зажимают в коробку и даже подрезают.Кто муже их вообще наконец то добавили.Как по мне самый огромный минус это управление оно здесь немного хуже чем в The crew 2.Это всё что я хотел сказать я надеюсь что серия NFS станет в будущем гораздо лучше.… Expand

    Game is lame honestly. Big step back from the last good NFS game in 2015. Its a little better than Payback but Payback was trash anyway. I honestly feel like I wasted $15 on my Origin subscription. RIP NFS 2015 last good NFS game.

    Скучные однообразные гонки, которые спустся несколько заездов полностью надоедают. Не видел режима драга или каких-то других как это было в NFS Underground 2.
    Графика днем это просто ад, постоянно прогружаются модели и внезапно появляются перед тобой.
    Деревья сделаны из кортона, они никак не останавливают игрока.
    Сама карта однообразна за пределами города, нету чего-то уникального.
    При смене детали в тюнинге видно как прорисовывается модель, выглядит ужасно каждый раз это видеть
    Ужасный саундтрек в дневных гонках, она больше подходит для пляжа, но никак не для игры в гонку.
    Сам город маленький, можно проехать за пару минут, делать там нечего.
    Сюжет никакой, нету какой-то глобальной цели у игрока как это было в NFS Most Wanted.
    UI не дружелюбен к пользователю, не сразу всё поймешь как куда нажимать, в предыдущих играх было лучше.
    Погони от полиции это самый большой провал, я пробовал уйти от полиции, делал разные резкие повороты в подворотни и т.д, но меня все равно смогли поймать,
    нету никаких препятствий как это было в NFS Most Wanted в виде разрушающихся конструкций, там были самые настоящие погони.

    Под конец стало так скучно, что я решил просто удалить игру.

    The worst part that I ever played in the NFS series, after 2 hours I deleted the game.

    Pros:
    A large number of cars
    Beautiful graphics at night (only)
    Handling is better than in the previous games (2015, Payback).
    Soundtrack at night more is good.
    Beautiful UI design.
    Engine sounds.

    That’s all.

    Minuses
    Boring monotonous races that go down several races are completely annoying. I did not see the races mode like drag racing or other as it was in NFS Underground 2.
    Graphics during the day is just hell, models are constantly being loaded and suddenly appear in front of you.
    The trees (palms) are made of corton, they do not stop the player.
    The map itself is monotonous outside the city, there is nothing unique.
    When changine parts in tuning, you can see how the model is drawn, it looks awful to see it every time
    A terrible soundtrack in the daytime races, it is more suitable for the beach, but not for the game of racing.
    The city itself is small, you can drive in a couple of minutes, there is nothing to do there.
    There is no plot, there is no global goal for the player as it was in NFS Most Wanted. UI is not user friendly, you won’t immediately understand how to click where, in previous games it was better. Chasing from the police is the biggest failure, I tried to get away from the police, made various sharp turns in the gates, etc., but they still managed to catch me, there are no obstacles as it was in NFS Most Wanted in the form of collapsing structures, there were real chases. In the end it got so boring that I decided to just delete the game.    … Expand

    Although the story makes no impression, Palm City feels lifeless and the police are sometimes frustratingly powerful, there is a lot of fun to be gained from this game, which offers more than many of the previous parts.
