    I love basketball! I love playing it in real life and love playing it on the PlayStation / PC as well. I grew up rocking NBA Street and NBA Street Vol. 2 back on the PS2 days and it gave me some of my favorite ever gaming memories. I remember how after hitting the court in real life, we always got together with my friends and then played ball on the console. Then on the PS3 I also lovedI love basketball! Then on the PS3 I also loved the re-invention of the NBA Jam franchise. Now with NBA Playgrounds, you kinda get both, as the best way to describe this game is that it's a mix of NBA Street and NBA Jam!
    I always wondered how amazing an NBA Street game would be on the current gen consoles and PCs, and this game is as close to that as it gets. I love the easy to pick up but hard to master controls, the flashy dunks and tricks, the beautiful and funny graphics, the old-school Hip-Hop style soundtrack, the court designs and the fact that it has almost all the NBA legends, as well as the current star players. The roster is deep and you can upgrade all the players with the XPs you earn after each game. There are many different courts from all over the globe and you can unlock new skills and moves as you progress.
    It is a sports game, so sometimes it can feel cheap, like the CPU "cheats" against you but eventually you can beat it on any difficulty. I believe if you like basketball and you're a fan of the arcade style streetball games you will love this one. To me it's a must buy!    … Expand

    The game is really fun to play and not frustrating at the same time. Its perfect choice if you're looking for something to play at the party. It should have more game modes but its still very good game.

    I would like to say this game even with its few problems manages to work and does an amazing job of delivering a game close to NBA JAM. The game is enjoyable and immensely fun to play with friends. They have done a great job while still there is room for lots to be accomplished, which makes it all the more merry. If they make the tutorial mode better and more welcoming to beginners, thisI would like to say this game even with its few problems manages to work and does an amazing job of delivering a game close to NBA JAM.     Shooting is glitched and getting piece of shots do not effect whether go in or not. Meaning there are shots in the game that will go in no matter what even without the power shot and there are plays you play that make every single shot they take. With tremendous disappointment I am telling you the game is broken.

    Basically a modern NBA JAM so Fun and simple.
    Great Graphics, easy to understand and play until 4 local players. Online you should not expect works very well and maybe the way to get new players is not the best (ramdonly like stickers on an album) but if you are able to play to unblock them you can buy them all in the only DLC.

    The game is fun to play with friends. If you don't have multiple controllers, I don't recommend it. BTW, it doesn't work well with keyboards.

    The developers can still fix NBA Playgrounds if they’re willing to do so. All they need to do is add more brains to AI, add competitions and re-balance attack and defense. Otherwise this game is just another reason to remember the awesomeness that was NBA 2K17.

    Nba Playgrounds tries to revitalize the arcade basketball genre and brings many interesting and fresh gameplay ideas to the table, but fails to strike the balance between the conflicting gameplay mechanics. It still misses many key online features (like inviting a friend to play against) and the UI is unintuitive, but on the bright side Saber shows eagerness to rectify the wrongs.

    NBA Playgrounds is a refreshing title that provides a full arcade basketball experience. Many basketball fans will be satisfied with its massive roster and hundreds of dunks and moves, although some gameplay mechanics need re-balancing.
