AndrewJul 10, 2005How is it not a sim. You can change everything from sponser to track bar setting to left rear tire pressure. There are 50-60 settings you can change before each race. I dont know how it can be anymore realistic than that. I guess all you haters just want static racing where you can sit down in an arcade and race away.

MikeL.Apr 1, 2005Like said before, this is not really a sim, rather a "dressed up" arcade game made to look like a sim.

RacingFANSep 5, 2005It is an awesome sim racing game, the only problem is no good career mode to keep me coming back for more. That and long load times!

RobertG.Feb 28, 2005Great. This game is the perfect racing game. If it's realism you're looking for that is. the racing gets a bit boring after a while but as I said, If you're looking for a realistic racer, By all means. pick this up.

CasualRacerAApr 24, 2005Horrible, even after the patch. Problems just too numerous to mention, not a realistic sim at all. I regret giving my money to EA for this one.

Offers just about everything a racer could want (with the exception of a comprehensive printed manual) and works hard to satiate the thirsts of both the action/arcade crowd and the generally more demanding devotees of realistic/simulation competition.

EA has not only closed that gap, but they have exceeded Papyrus' efforts in many significant ways, such as the excellent physics model, featuring "drivable oversteer," third-party extensibility, and just about every option imaginable.

For the most part, NASCAR SimRacing boasts a fine presentation, although the graphics aren't that cutting-edge, and the cars can look a bit too simple. There's also a silly flaw that hurts the game's authenticity: censorship of beer logos.
