    I love all the Nancy Drew games and this one is very good, just as I thought it would be. I have beaten all of the Nancy Drew Games besides this one (I am stuck looking for arrowheads:( )

    Great example of how not to make a point n' click interface: first-person view; railroaded but inconsistent move scheme that makes sure you'll never know what you'll be facing next, or how to face an object that seems interesting, although it will not be clickable in the end; micro-steps; constant pixel-hunt with no hot-spots key, repeated on every intermediate screen because you can'tGreat example of how not to make a point n' click interface: first-person view; railroaded but inconsistent move scheme that makes sure you'll never know what you'll be facing next, or how to face an object that seems interesting, although it will not be clickable in the end; micro-steps; constant pixel-hunt with no hot-spots key, repeated on every intermediate screen because you can't know if there is an arrow that will let you get closer until you've found such arrow; no feedback on anything, in an otherwise verbose world that loves exposition dumps; a quarter of the screen wasted on a permanent tool bar; lifeless screens...     This is one of my favourite HER games. Great graphics and fun puzzles! Really great.

    It's a game that's particularly good for pre-teen adventurers as the story is simple but entertaining, and the dialogue is well written, very clear and easy to follow.

    It's hard to envision a better first adventure game for a preteen person—girl or boy. The story is "safe," interesting, and in a wide-open western setting replete with legends, romance and novel characters.
