    An average metroidvania game
    Music - 7/10
Gameplay - 5/10 - Immediate spawn of enemies when you leave current screen and return back is annoying (e.g. when you accidentally fall down somewhere and you have to go back through same enemies) and final boss is probably some kind of joke, because it’s an extremely easy and short fight.
    Story - 5/10

    Mystik Belle
    A Great Adventure
Mystik Belle is a platforming metroidvania adventure game where you play as a witch girl named belle who’s been framed and accused of ruining an important brew, so it’s up to you to go out and recollect 3 important ingredients, a werewolf’s claw, bloom of twilight, and a dragon scale
if you don’t like the idea of back tracking or combining items in point and click adventure games you’re not going to like this one, because this is what it’s all about..
You’re exploring the school and running into roadblocks... you then have to defeat bosses and mini bosses to collect items to use in certain places to unlock new paths and obtain other items for what feels like an endless amount of trading
I’m not usually a fan of back tracking or even item combining...
but I actually ended up really enjoying this game as the world is just the right size and no items seem to ridiculous to come up with the solutions for…
There are mirrors you can use to fast travel and a magic chest that you can leave currently unneeded items behind in to ease the idea of constant back tracking
as you’re crawling through the world looking for items to pick up there will be all kinds of enemies crawling around to stop you..
you Can ignore enemies if you want as they’re not too much of a threat damage wise, however there’s a really cool xp like leveling system here.. And leveling up gives you more powerful fire attacks and increases your health bar... all the way up to the max level of 8… again this isn’t too important for the enemies around the world... but is very important for this games bosses…
The bosses aren’t too difficult but will probably take you a few tries to defeat…
they all have the same solution which is just dodge and hit your target in the head, but I loved their design, and there are few memorable fights thrown in here in this Halloween themed game…
this is where the ultimate charm comes into play…
this school feels alive with its different characters and enemies you run into..
everything having its own purpose and desire in the world they inhabit…
And each main boss will give you a new ability to reach new areas to give this game a metroidvania aspect as well
you can even find lore to get to the bottom of just what exactly this brew is for
As a game where you do have to hunt and combine items, this game could definitely understandably feel frustrating when you have no idea what you should even be looking for
If you don’t have the patience to run through every room looking for areas you may have missed, you’re definitely going to need to sit down with a guide to see all this game has to offer
I was surprised how much I actually ended up enjoying Mystik Belle
This was a really enjoyable and clever adventure game full of charm and one metroidvania and adventure fans alike shouldnt pass up
    I give Mystik Belle
    an 8/10
