Most of what made the first two games incredible is not present in this third installment. It lacks the heart and soul of it's predecessors. The story doesn't have the urgency, sadness, or character of the first two. the story itself if almost laughable involving time travel. It also varies the hidden object tradition of it's predecessors where you must find morphing objects instead of objects in a list. A subtle difference, but somehow it lacks something and makes you long for the traditional gameplay. The puzzles are generally quite good and varied and enjoyable enough if not overly challenging. Still, Escape From Ravenhearts is just a mediocre entry into the hidden object adventure genre instead of the expected masterpiece that should bear the Ravenhearst name. Expand
